Kyungsoo was at mother’s feet, lying with his body against her ankles, enjoying the peace and quiet of that day.

The father had taken the beagle out, and the house without Chanyeol was like heaven to Kyungsoo; it reminded him of the good days when he was the only pet in the house. But unfortunately, no matter how much Kyungsoo prayed, father always came back with the dog. Kyungsoo just kept hoping that one day father would return without Chanyeol, and he’d be the reigning pet once again.

The weather was growing cold, and for the past few days, the mother had been knitting all sorts of items.
