"Jinri, will you be around on Saturday?" asks Baekhyun on the phone as Jinri unpack the stuffs she bought from the art shop nearby. "yeah, why?" she placed the glitter paint on the shelves and place it according to the colours. "we were thought of coming down and stay for a night, Jenny kept asking for you" she chuckled at how cute it was "sure, i'd love to have you guys in my house anyways" says Jinri and finally put the last bottle of paint in the cupboard before closing it. "i'll see you then, take care" "you too" and she ended the call

Her eyes went up and saw the little guy sitting alone in the play room, looking ever so sad. Jinri furrowed before she placed the box away and walk towards the boy. "are you okay dear?" she asked. Little Daniel look up to Jinri with his big brown eyes, oh how beautiful his eyes are just like Taemin's. "is everything alright?" she actually worried when she sees him sitting alone when it's really rare, he's always the playful ones, a very cheerful boy. She took a seat in front of him and locked her eyes on the little boy

She can clearly see how sad he is. He's still small but seeing him like this really tells her that there's a problem. "s-should i call your father?" she asked and Daniel just nod. She nod back at him and quickly got up from her seat, taking her phone out and find Taemin's number on the record book. 

It's ringing, tho she never ever thought she'd actually be the first one to call him but this looks serious. 

"hello?" he answered, the deep voice of his just made her heart skipped a beat "t-Taemin, i um, it's me Jinri" she stuttered and she can hear him cleared out his throat. "are you busy? it's Daniel" she said and she can hear that concern voice from him through the phone call "is he alright?" he asked "he's um .. he's been sitting alone since i don't know and he look very sad, is something wrong?" she asked but he didn't answer her, instead he told her he'll be here in a bit. 

Jinri went back to the boy and he's just sitting there, doodling some stuffs, alone. "do you wanna go back home?" she asked but he shake his head no. "do you want mummy? i can call her? daddy?" but he still shake his head no. Just before she gets to ask one more question, Taemin was there behind the glass door, asking her to open the door. She walk towards the door and open it for him "he won't speak up. i'll leave you with him" she said, somehow getting a bit comfortable with him. "thanks Jinri" he said and she left.

He thinks he know what was it all about, He took off his jacket and placed it down before he takes the seat next to his boy. "is everything okay? daddy's here" he said but Daniel never look up to him. Just before he gets to open his mouth for another question to him, Daniel murmured "why mummy and daddy fight last night?" he said and the question surprised him

He wasn't expect him to ask this question but the boy just did. 

He fought with Minah last night for the first time, he just couldn't handle her anymore. Ever since she got back from Paris, she'd been going out with her friends and always coming back home late at night, rarely spend their times together. Daniel misses her but she never ever thought of spending even a small time with her son. It really drives him mad when he saw the boy was calling for his mother in his sleep last few days. 

He'd reached the point where he really couldn't stand her any longer, he just blew up last night when she came home pretty late, after midnight. 

"you could've at least text me saying that you're coming back home late Minah" he said when she walked in the house after the clock turns midnight. "i was busy" "oh what?!" his voice raised when he got up from the bed and it made her surprised. "your boy asking for you but where were you? come on Minah, you have a family" he said and sighed.

"will you stop with all this just for a day, at least a day" "but it's my work Taemin, it's my life" she got irritated and her voice were louder than before "then what makes us two then!? some strangers in your life?! for sake Minah, i'm tired of all these , i've been keeping this for a long time, i never say no to you, but what did you give me? to our son? nothing!" "i did okay! i gave him love, i walked with him to school! wasn't that enough?" he scoffed and run his fingers through his black hair "when was the last time you give love to him? last month Minah!" ever in their 5 years marriage he never raised his voice to her, this is the first time ever. he was done with it. it's too much, enough with how busy she was in New York, he hates it when she brings that side of her even in London. 

"and walk with him to school is never enough. i can't understand you. i'm done with him. goodnight" he sighed and go straight to bed. it was a very bad night, they were shouting and he wouldn't even thought that Daniel would hear it.

It was a mistake, that's what he thinks. But the fact that Minah went off to Paris again this morning just makes everything more worse than he thought it'd be. He got mad, he didn't even talk to her when he leave to the office this morning. "everything is alright, don't worry about it okay?" he ruffled his hair and smile "where's mommy?" he asked. "mommy is um .. mommy is busy for a few days. she'll be back okay?" he give him a small smile and the boy finally responded to her with a nod and a soft smile. He glad he did well. 

He always do well anyways, it's always him 

He spent a bit more time with his little one before he got to excuse himself when he realised he have a meeting later in few minutes. He came out, holding his son's hand and let him runs off to his friends and he went straight to Jinri. "hey, thanks for calling me" he said making her turn around to him. "sure, is everything alright?" she asked and he nods. "hey Jinri.. can i ask you a favour?" he asked and she was surprised, but eventually says okay 

"i'm having a meeting in a bit and it might end quite late at night. my wife isn't around. can you take care of him for a while, i'll ask Vic to pick him up" he said and Jinri didn't hesitate to yes sure. She knows that he needs her help, she accidentally heard his conversation with Daniel and knows that Minah isn't around, probably out of London. "sure" she said. "do you have Vic's number?" he asked and she shake her head no, her eyes somehow didn't leave his gorgeous face as he tak
