“Are you and Chorong-ssi seeing each other?” Yookyung asked him out of nowhere.
Luhan spluttered, coughing and choking. He stared wide-eyed at his former classmate.
They were eating dinner, a restaurant not so far from his apartment. Since the preparations for their contract signing has been finalized – Yookyung and Chanyeol unexpectedly made a good pair despite their contrasting personalities. The dinner was their little celebration.
He stared at her, stunned with her question.
Gathering himself, Luhan shook his head and proceeded to eat his meal again. “We’re not,” he told her. “Chorong and I aren’t dating,” he stressed, although he wanted them to.
“Are you sure?” Yookyung countered. He knew she’d be doubtful of his answer. He looked up and saw her suspicious eyes. “From the way I’m seeing things, you two look extremely comfortable with each other,” she said, putting down her utensils and leaning back in her seat. She has her ‘tell me what the heck is going on’ face and Luhan knew he needed to at least try to explain their relationship – whatever label you may call it.
Luhan sighed and put down his utensils too. He mimicked her pose and then stared thoughtfully at his reliable confidante.
“What makes you say we’re dating, Yookyung-ah?” he decided to ask first. Yookyung pursed her lips. “Well, the way you stare at her...” she drawled out. Luhan raised an eyebrow. “What’s with the way I stare at Chorong?” he innocently asked. “Like she’s the most beautiful person you’ve ever seen in your entire life,” Yookyung answered without hesitation.
