Third POV

Taeyeons 27th birthday party was going on without a hitch, everyone was having a great time and enjoying each other's company. Taeyeon was sitting absentmindedly next to her boyfriend and one true love Kwon Jiyong, looking at her watch a couple of minutes at a time as she watched the door of the function room they were currently in as if she were waiting for someone. Jiyong noticed this and couldn't help but be curious about this mysterious person Taeyeon was waiting for as everyone he knew who was close and loved by Taeyeon were right here in this room and to his knowledge no one was missing, so just who was this mystery person his adorable girlfriend was waiting for?

It was then that the door opened wide to reveal a tall and chic figure walk into the room, a person that Jiyong knew all too well. It was Mizuhara Kiko. His ex girlfriend and dear best friend who he still cared for deeply and that fact was never going to change. She is a very dear and precious person in Jiyongs life and she also holds a very special place in his heart. But in respect for the love of his life and dear girlfriend Taeyeon, he had decided against inviting his precious friend to Taeyeons birthday party for the fear of tension arising between two of the most important women in his life. So imagine his surprise when he sees Kiko arriving to Taeyeons party out of the blue. 

Jiyong froze when he felt Taeyeon stand up from her seat and watched as she approached his ex girlfriend, in fact it seemed like everyone in the room held their breath as they saw Taeyeons actions and watched in anticipation although it seemed that SNSD and that little brat Baekhyun were smirking at the situation and seemingly eyeing him with amusement. Taeyeon finally reached Kiko who stood at the door.

Kiko was maintaining an air of confidence not wanting to show any insecurity regarding the stares she is now receiving by the people who are close to Taeyeon. This was Taeyeons territory and Kiko knew that Taeyeon held the upper hand here, if any conflict were to break out between the two so she stood firm in her spot trying to remain strong like she always did in front of Jiyongs girlfriends who held nothing but contempt towards her and did whatever they could to humiliate and ridicule her, jealous of the place she holds in Jiyongs heart.

However, to her surprise she felt nothing but warmth from the gaze she received from Jiyongs short and she just had to admit adorable girlfriend. Taeyeon then smiled at Kiko and moved forward to embrace her saying "Thank you for coming to my birthday party." As she welcomed Kiko to her party. 

Kiko was flustered by the kindness and warm welcome she had just received from Jiyongs girlfriend Kim Taeyeon. Usually she was looked at with disdain and felt unwelcome whenever she joined Jiyong and his girlfriend in anything and yet here Taeyeon is welcoming her with a warm welcome. "Uh um, thank you for inviting me." Kiko said blankly as she was trying to find a way to understand Taeyeons actions towards her. Was she acting? Is she being nice now so as to make me let my guard down? Is she planning to use me? These thoughts ran through Kikos mind as she questioned if Taeyeons kindness was sincere or not.

Taeyeon however just shook her head innocently as she grabbed Kiko by the hand and led her to Jiyong, her precious irreplaceable best friend. "Jinjja, Kiko you ought to scold this idiot over here for not inviting you to my birthday party even though I explicitly told him that he must. I'm sorry that your invitation was sent rather late and did not even have any indication on it as to who sent you the invite but I'm happy that your here now and we can enjoy this party together. You know I was actually waiting for you to come and if Baekhyun hadn't told me that Jiyong had not invited you I would've been waiting the whole day for you to come, so punish this pabo over here for me. I'm sure you know the best way to punish him to make him learn his lesson." Taeyeon explained the situation while also knocking Jiyong in the head before seating Kiko beside her boyfriend and excusing herself as she went to talk to Baekhyun to leave the two to talk alone.

It was then that Kiko realised Taeyeons sincerity and now she knew that Taeyeon wasn't acting, she wasn't putting on airs. The Taeyeon who had greeted her warmly and wanted Kiko to attend her party was genuine. She can clearly see that Taeyeon held no contempt towards her, regardless of Taeyeons current status as Jiyongs girlfriend and Kikos position as his ex and one of the most important women in his life.

Jiyong on the other hand glared at Baekhyun for letting his secret out to which the boy just shrugged and poked his tongue out at Jiyong before putting his arm around Taeyeon and pulling her close with a smirk on his face making Jiyong boil with anger. "Aish that kid, I'm definitely going to get him some day." Jiyong gritted out before letting out a sigh and then looking towards the woman beside him now, Kiko. She did not look impressed with Jiyong at the moment in fact she looked quite angry herself.

"Now, why didn't you invite me to this party? And why is it that you have been avoiding me lately? I mean would it kill you to reply to one of my texts? And don't you dare use Taeyeon as an excuse, I mean from the looks of it she has no issue with our relationship so what's going on?" Kiko asked demanding an answer from her long time friend.

"It's because she's okay with it that I've been avoiding you. Taeyeon is so supportive and caring and I thought that she doesn't deserve to feel insecure like my previous girlfriends because of you." Jiyong answered as his eyes remained glued onto his girlfriend who was much too close to her ex boyfriend Baekhyun for his liking.

Kiko sighed at Jiyongs response and followed the direction that Jiyong was now looking before patting Jiyong on the back with sympathy saying "You poor guy, just where did all your swagger and confidence go?"

"What do you mean?" Jiyong asked in confusion as his eyes now landed on the woman beside him, expectantly waiting for an answer.

Kiko chuckled at his cluelessness before flicking him on the forehead leaving Jiyong dumbfounded as he clutched his forehead looking at Kiko in confusion once more. "Jiyongie pabo, rather than Taeyeon being insecure, it's clear that it's actually you who is insecure. That's why you don't want to do anything you think will upset Taeyeon right?" Kiko said, her words ringing true for Jiyong as he nodded his head, as Kiko figured him out.

Jiyong was insecure and unsure about his relationship with Taeyeon, not that he was unsure about his own feelings but rather the feelings of his mysterious girlfriend. He has always dreamed of having a girlfriend who could accept wholeheartedly the fact that Kiko was a part of his life that he is not willing to lose for anyone and he had found this dream in Taeyeon. 

However he encountered another problem, which is his own insecurities as it was usually with his previous girlfriends apprehension to his relationship with Kiko that he could see how much they cared and loved him, but with Taeyeon she acts like his closeness with Kiko who is his ex girlfriend is nothing to worry about and in fact welcomes it while he gets jealous whenever Taeyeons ex boyfriend Baekhyun is even in the same room as her. 

Jiyong feels that maybe he loves Taeyeon more than she loves him and that makes him scared of how disastrous a toll it would take on him if everything went pear shaped with his relationship with her. So he took his insecurities out on Kiko, the one person he knows would never leave him for anything or anyone, the one he trusts his everything with. Kiko knew this which is why she easily forgave him for his actions. They were the best of friends no matter what. Forever and always they have chosen to stick together, even when their romantic relationship didn't work out, their lives are entwined with each other's and nothing could break it.

That's why Jiyong could trust that Kiko wouldn't leave him even if he ignored her but that same assurance wasn't guaranteed with Taeyeon. She had her own world, her own life and the independence to be able to live a happy life even without him in it and that scared Jiyong to the core. Because he knew he couldn't do the same, he knew the darkness that would enshroud his world if ever Taeyeon would choose to leave him. She brought him the spark that brought light into his life, she's the one who enlightened Jiyong with a kind of happiness he had never felt before, a kind of happiness he now could not survive without which is the love he shares with her.

"I just don't know Kiko, what do you do when you think you love someone more than they love you?" Jiyong asked in a quiet voice as he stared at Taeyeon with a longing gaze. 

To this Kiko stood up and grabbed Jiyong to stand up with her, linking arms with him and walking towards Taeyeon and Baekhyun at the food table who were chatting away as if they were in their own little world, that is until Taeyeon noticed Kiko and her boyfriend walking towards them to which she smiled sweetly at the pair. To this Kiko whispered to Jiyong "Ji, I see your problem now. Just look at that innocent, sweet smile she just gave us. She's not even upset at the fact that I'm linking my arms with yours."

Jiyong sighed with a nod before whispering back saying "Yeah, you have no idea how many encounters I've had with my exes where Taeyeon was around to which she just smiled and acted friendly with them. No jealousy, no cute angry Taeyeon scolding me for talking to another girl, just usual sweet and calm Taeyeon."

Kiko chuckled at his comment as she saw a visible pout on the frustrated Jiyong next to her and she could very well imagine the shocked look on Jiyongs ex girlfriends faces at the kindness Taeyeon showed them regardless of their obvious past with Jiyong. In fact Kiko was quite impressed with Taeyeon, if she had guessed correctly Taeyeon had actually marked and claimed Jiyong as her boyfriend by choosing to not let any outside factors around Jiyong faze her in her relationship with him, by showing how strong both she and their relationship is in front of those horrid exes of Jiyongs which in turn deterred any thought that these girls could ever come between the two. 

So in truth, Taeyeon had shown her commitment and love for Jiyong by showing how she trusted him not to betray her with any of his exes, with Jiyong playing right into her hands as he was more worried about how Taeyeon was unfazed by his exes than actually having any thought of possibly getting back with any of those other girls. Kiko wore a smirk on her face before she pushed Jiyong towards Baekhyun and linking her arms with Taeyeon and saying "Well boys, if you would excuse us, us girls need time to have a talk." Before walking off with the clueless Taeyeon and the now dumbfounded Jiyong, having been abandoned by the two most important ladies in his life and being left alone with the mischievous Byun Baekhyun.

Kiko and Taeyeon were now sitting at a private table in the corner of the function room, Taeyeon tilting her head with a curious look on her face while Kiko was downing a glass of champagne she had grabbed from a waiters tray on their way to the table. Once she was done she looked at Taeyeon with a warm smile saying "It's really nice to meet you again Taeyeon."

To this Taeyeon beamed a radiant smile towards the Japanese model nodding her head in glee and replying "Yes, it really is. I am truly happy to have you here Kiko and I hope that you felt welcomed when you came." Taeyeon then giggled for a bit before saying "I know that all my friends and family staring at you was quite intimidating but know that they meant no harm from it. I was just excited to have you coming to my party and everyone was saying that you wouldn't come but you did so they were all in shock." 

Kiko found herself giggling to herself as well at Taeyeons story and she smiled as she joked saying "Well count yourself lucky, I had to cancel two photo shoots and a runway to make it here. It's like your my girlfriend and not Jiyongs with the amount of effort I put in to be here." With Taeyeon promptly laughing her ahjumma laugh in response. Kiko found Taeyeons laughter to be contagious as she found herself laughing at her own joke as well.

Once they calmed down Kiko looked at Taeyeon and asked seriously "Taeyeon, are you really not bothered with my relationship with Jiyong? Do you honestly accept me as one of Jiyongs most important women in his life? You can tell me the truth and I won't be offended or anything, I just want to hear it from you."

Taeyeon had a gentle smile on her face as she said with a faraway gaze "You and Jiyong are soulmates."

Kiko had a hard time processing what Taeyeon had just said as she replied in a somewhat flustered panic saying "You know that Jiyong loves you right? Me and him have nothing romantic going on between us, we're just really close friends so what are you trying to say Taeyeon?"

Taeyeon chuckled at Kikos response and shook her head before explaining "I know that he loves me and I understand your relationship with Jiyong, in fact I'm happy to know that no matter what happens you will always be there for him and I hope you know I would never stop Jiyong from ever being there for you too. Which is why I said you two are soulmates, who are destined to be together forever, regardless of whether your relationship is romantic or not. You see I know in my heart that I love Jiyong with my entire being just like he feels towards me. But I also know that I am not his soulmate and vice versa he is not mine, you see I found my soulmate in my ex boyfriend Byun Baekhyun."

Taeyeon and Baekhyun then just happened to look at each other at the same time making eye contact which amazed Kiko at the whole timing of their interaction, it was like Baekhyun knew Taeyeon was going to look at him at that right moment and vice versa for Taeyeon so they looked at each other in sync. Taeyeon gave Baekhyun a smile and a wink to which he reciprocated before Jiyong caught the two and dragged Baekhyun out of Taeyeons sight in jealousy causing both Kiko and Taeyeon to laugh at his actions. 

Taeyeon then looked at Kiko beside her and continued saying "That's the reason why I accept your relationship with Jiyong because like me and Baekhyun, you and Jiyong are soulmates and carry a bond that can never be broken. Which is why when I chose to love Jiyong, I also chose to accept and love you too Kiko because you and Jiyong are two sides of the same coin and I care about both of your happiness which I've seen comes when you two are together, so you don't have to worry about me and just continue to be the caring, supporting and loving person you have always been for Jiyong. And I will continue to love and cherish Jiyong as well, as his girlfriend."

Kiko looked at Taeyeon in amazement at the profound words she was saying and the level of honesty, acceptance and love she has just displayed was so touching for Kiko who could never make any of Jiyongs ex girlfriends understand her relationship with Jiyong and why she couldn't just leave him like they wanted her to. All she could say about Taeyeon was that she was wise beyond her years and had such a big heart for such a small person. Kiko then wore a playful grin on her face saying in a playful tone "You know Taeyeon, if you weren't my soulmates girlfriend, I would snatch you for myself right here and now."

Taeyeon replied the playful grin with a mischevious snicker as she countered saying "Well Miss Mizuhara, if I had met you before Jiyong, I would have no doubt fallen for you instead. But you know it's just a bunch of what ifs." This playful banter caused the women to burst into laughter at their silly little game.

"Taeyeon, I don't know how you do it but you make me want to trust you. No you have already earned my trust. How is it so easy for you?" Kiko pondered to herself as well as to Taeyeon as she had never felt this kind of warmth and acceptance from any of Jiyongs previous girlfriends, it made her defences crumble and fall, leaving just herself, her real self out on display.

Taeyeon chuckled at Kikos musing and explained with a smile "Trust is earned with trust. Well that's what I have learnt and what I live by. I put my trust in people even if they don't deserve it or betray me in the end, I trust them regardless and receive whatever may come with that trust wholeheartedly because that's just how I have chosen to live my life. Good or bad, I just trust others. I take that risk, even when I know better. And sometimes I am rewarded with an unexpected treasure." As she said those words Kiko saw Taeyeons eyes land on Jiyong who was still scolding Baekhyun for flirting with his girlfriend.

Kiko smirked to herself as she playfully teased "You have really jumped onto the Jiyong bandwagon and fallen for that idiot haven't you." Which earned her a blush from Taeyeon who then held her face in embarrassment.

But it didn't last long as Taeyeon then chuckled to herself confessing "I really have fallen for him hard and he may be an idiot, but he's my idiot." She now had a mischievous grin on her face which made Kiko want to pinch her cheeks from the cuteness overload.

But Kiko composed herself and stood up and turning to Taeyeon giving her some advice saying playfully "Taeyeon ah, you and I both know how much of an idiot Jiyong is and how active his imagination is. So don't make him worry, because I'll be the one who has to deal with his whining."

Taeyeon replied with a salute saying cheekily "Deh, I'll make sure keep his active imagination in check and give him so much love he wouldn't need to look anywhere else but me, but I'm sorry Kiko I can't promise I won't make him worry because if I dont then I get to see you more often now don't I?"

"Kim Taeyeon, I'll come and look for you even if it isn't for Jiyong. I mean we're in a what if relationship right? Or have you already forgotten?" Kiko retorted playfully causing Taeyeon to light up and giggle at Kikos words.

"Ah, there's no way I could forget my what if girlfriend. And you know, I only made him worry because he didn't listen to me and didn't send you an invite to my birthday. I have to do something or else he won't learn as you would know, he's very stubborn about the stupidest things." Taeyeon answered with a shake of her head at her own boyfriends behaviour.

Kiko smirked as she nodded her head in agreement saying "Well, well I didn't expect such a thing from you Kim Taeyeon, aren't you just full of surprises? But don't make him worry too long or else you will end up with a very angry and upset Jiyong."

"Don't worry Kiko, I know how to use candy and the whip." Taeyeon said with a wink much to Kikos amusement laughing as she walked away towards Jiyong and patted him on the shoulder.

"Just tell her your feelings and you'll get the response you crave for. Now I'm off back to Tokyo for business. Tell Taeyeon that the party was wonderful and I can't wait to meet her again, possibly without you." Kiko advised before she teased Jiyong and went out the door leaving as abruptly as she came.

Jiyong just shook his head at his best friends exit and couldn't help but chuckle at the advice she just gave him. Advice he decided to act upon as he saw his cute little girlfriend now sitting alone in the corner of the room where Kiko had left her, sipping her drink as her head bobbed to the music with her eyes closed. Jiyong could definitely tell that his beautiful girlfriend was feeling the music and he felt a surge of pride in himself knowing that she was feeling his music. Well they had always connected over their music, Jiyong being blown away from Taeyeons angelic voice and Taeyeon being immersed in Jiyongs compositions like she was taken to another world through his music. Jiyong loved it when Taeyeon just let herself go and was led away by his music from the world that currently surrounded her because he knew then that he had succeeded and Taeyeon adored Jiyongs gentle and calm expression he always gave her when she sang to him because she knew she had successfully brought out the kind and timid Jiyong she knows is hiding behind his bad boy facade and she loved the thought of him allowing her to bring out such a side of him.

Taeyeon then opened her eyes as if she just woke up from a dream to find Baekhyun in front of her, to which she couldn't hide her disappointment much to the amusement of Baekhyun. "We're you expecting your lover boy to appear in front of you?" He said playfully to which Taeyeon sighed and said in a mock disappointed tone "Deh~"

Baekhyun returned her mock disappointment with a look of fake shock at the insult "How rude." Baekhyun retorted overdramatically. Earning a laugh between the two.

"But seriously it wasn't for the lack of trying that Jiyong wasn't the person you saw when you opened your eyes, it's just that I got here first. Of course he can't beat me your soulmate, the poor guy was one step too late, I almost felt sorry for the guy when I saw the look on his face. But you know me, I love being a tease." Baekhyun explained cheekily as he giggled to himself.

"Yah! Why are you such a block! If you keep doing this I won't consider you my soulmate anymore." Taeyeon threatened cutely as she turned her back on Baekhyun with huff and a pout.

Baekhyun burst into laughter at how cute Taeyeon could still be even when she was angry. "Aigoo, you'd better stop acting so cute right now Tae. Or it won't turn out well with your boyfriend and you will be left with me, now do you want that?"

"No! Anything but that." Taeyeon said with a panic to which Baekhyun looked insulted once again and this time it was real. "You don't have to sound that desperate Taeng. I should be insulted right now but seeing as how our relationship turned out it is probably for the best that you and Jiyong don't break up. It's funny how were soulmates but since we're so alike we tend to fight over everything since we want the same thing."

Taeyeon chuckled and said "Yeah, we're both really stubborn about getting what we want, so it just wouldn't work out between us. But one thing I do know is that we're soulmates."

"Yep, soulmates for life." Baekhyun replied with a gentle happy smile, with his forehead on hers, which then turned into a smirk as he said "Taeyeon ah, good luck cleaning this mess up." Leaving Taeyeon confused until Jiyong separated the two from their intimate moment and lifted Taeyeon into his arms and barged out the door of the function room leaving everyone in the room dumbfounded. Heechul and Jiwoong were getting ready to storm out and find the two to get their sister back with SNSD gearing together with a fire lit in their eyes after the scene they had just witnessed.

But their actions were stopped when Baekhyun went to the stage and announced "The birthday girl and Jiyong have prepared a performance for us so Jiyong just took her out in a hurry because it's getting late and they appear to be behind schedule so please just enjoy yourselves while we wait for them." Calming everyone down. Once he was done with his announcement Baekhyun wiped his forehead in relief at having dealt with the situation and couldn't help but wonder just what trouble he has gotten himself in for by being Taeyeons soulmate and have hers as his as well. "You owe me." Baekhyun whispered to himself. Before resuming to enjoy the party with his friends.

Meanwhile, Jiyong had finally put Taeyeon down only to trap her in between his arms as he pinned her against the wall. "Soulmate? If he's your soulmate then what am I to you then?!Are you just playing with me Tae, is our relationship just a game for you and your soulmate?!" Jiyong shouted as he was enraged over what he just heard and saw, his heart clenching in pain at the sight of the two of them together. 

"Was your love a lie? Please, tell me Tae. I just can't take anymore of your vague relationship with Baekhyun and the constant anxiety of you leaving me one day when the fun is all gone. Do you really love me?" Jiyong pleaded in a small whisper in Taeyeons ears as his strong arms that had pinned her against the wall had become weak as he moved body closer to Taeyeon leaning his head against her shoulder waiting for her reply.

Taeyeon brought her arms around Jiyong to embrace the poor man she had caused such confusion and misunderstandings to. Running her fingers through his head as she patted it and soothingly confessed "I really and truly do love you Jiyong. That fact will never change." She then lifted his head off her shoulder to look at him face to face as she kissed his face as she listed all of the things she loved about him. 

"I love your smile." Taeyeon said as she kissed him on the cheek, "I love your eyes." She continued as she kissed his other cheek. "I love your laughter." She said as she kissed him on the nose causing a little chuckle to come from Jiyong, "I love your music, she continued as she kissed him on the forehead before leaning in real close with just a centimetre apart as she whispered in a sweet tone with her eyes looking in Jiyongs lovingly "But most importantly, I just can't help being madly in love with you Kwon Jiyong."

Jiyong couldn't hold back any more as he initiated a passionate kiss on the lips, putting all the love and adoration he had for this wonderful woman in front of him in his kiss as the two let their feelings meld into one through their kiss. When they finally let go of the kiss the two were breathless, the kiss knocked the breath out of them and just made them speechless because all of their thoughts and feelings had been communicated through the kiss they just had and it was magical.

"Wait, if you love me then what's this about Baekhyun being your soulmate?" Jiyong said as he calmed down from the kiss and went back to the real question on his mind. He already knew deep down inside that Taeyeon loved him just as much as he loved her but her relationship with Baekhyun had put him on edge.

"Because he is." Taeyeon answered simply causing Jiyong to furrow his eyebrows in annoyance as he opened his mouth to speak but was cut off when Taeyeon continued saying "Just like Kiko is your soulmate." Which left him dumbfounded at her logic. If he's guessing what she's trying to say here is correct then he couldn't refute what she said as in many ways Kiko did seem like his soulmate in a non romantic way and if that's her relationship with Baekhyun then he would be a double standard hypocrite to be against their relationship because if she can allow him such a close relationship with Kiko then there's no way he can refuse to accept her relationship with Baekhyun, even if the boy to him is like a devil reincarnate.

"Arraseo I understand now. But why didn't you tell me about all of this?" Jiyong conceded before questioning Taeyeon again wondering if she knew the truth about all of their relationships then why didn't she shed some light for him while he was circling around in confusion and apprehension at the closeness of his beloved Taeyeon and her ex Baekhyun. 

"Well, you didn't ask." Taeyeon answered as a matter of factly with a shrug of her shoulders before she pushed Jiyong away from her and made herself presentable before moving towards the function room where her birthday party was currently being held and being the guest of honour it wouldn't be good to leave for too long. 

Jiyong sighed as he shook his head, looking at the spot Taeyeon had been standing. "I still think that I love her more." He muttered to himself before he followed her back into the function room only to find everyone staring at him with Taeyeon frozen in front of him. 

"Yah, what's going on?" Jiyong whispered to Taeyeon as he made his way to her side. Taeyeon just glared at someone and when he saw who he understood. Byun Baekhyun.

"Jinja, I'm going to get him back for this." Taeyeon said lowly as she gritted her teeth but maintained her stunning smile, not letting her anger show. 

"You and me both." Jiyong said in agreement. Taeyeon then mouthed to him 'follow me', before taking his hand and dragging him towards the stage.

"So what's going on?" Jiyong asked for clarification as they turned their backs on the crowd of their closest friends and family.

"We have to perform." Taeyeon answered before turning to face the crowd with her celebrity smile, handing a guitar to Jiyong and whispering her plan. Jiyong smirked in response and nodded his head before organising the band to go along with them.

"This is a new song that my awesome producer boyfriend wrote for me and it's called "I". This is the first time I'm performing it in front of everyone and I hope you enjoy it." Taeyeon said as she introduced the song before giving a nod before starting the song.

Jiyong then took the mic in front of him and started rapping while looking at Taeyeon, his eyes never leaving her as he poured his feelings into his rap. The time he had spent with Taeyeon had taught him of the hardships she had faced with her sisters in SNSD as they climbed to the top as the number one girl group. It was those hardships that had prompted him to write this rap, to show his support for his beloved Taeyeon.

Taeyeons high note blew everyone in the room away, shocking even her closest sisters SNSD who has heard her amazing voice over and over again and are in awe of her singing everytime but this was just on a whole other level. Even Jiyong was enamoured by her high note, it was perfect, flawless, it was more than he could've asked any singer to produce from a song he made.

Jiyong is a known perfectionist who is not afraid to work a singer to the bone to get his song sung right and yet with Taeyeon, her voice was perfection itself and he had no problems when working with her and yet she would ask to record a bit of the song again and produce something amazing, something Jiyong had not even imagined his song could bring out of a singer.

This was just another one of those times where Taeyeon had surprised him as she added another layer to his song and brought forth such a beautiful note that struck him and the audience in their core as they felt the uplifting energy Taeyeon had put into it.

By the end of it Tiffany was crying, but she didn't forget to applaud the couples performance, touched at the thought that such a song could be so perfect for her best friend and show such depth in understanding of who Taeyeon was and what her character pertains. She ran on stage and hugged her friend tightly, crying on her shoulder. This brought Taeyeon out of the daze she had been from singing the song, she hugged Tiffany back as tears of happiness ran down her face. Seeing her bestie in tears always made her cry as well and this time was no exception.

By then the rest of the girls had made their way to the stage, all of them in tears at the touching song, bringing Tiffany and Taeyeon into a group hug. Seeing their group hug everyone in the room cheered and clapped even louder than before. Each and everyone of the people in the room having seen first hand different hardships the girls have faced and how they have supported each other through these hardships. They knew of the bond and burden these girls held together that no one other than them could truly understand. Making this moment just that more emotional.

Taeyeon just smiled at the interaction, loving every moment of her birthday. Having the microphone still in her hand she spoke to everyone saying "I have to say that this is the best birthday I have ever had and the most touching as well. Although not everyone could make it to my birthday party, I know that they are here in spirit, but then again I won't stop any of you from making them feel guilty for not coming." Making everyone laugh at her joke. "I can't be more thankful for my life, Jiyong definitely got this line right in our song 'My life is a beauty' because I have the love and support from all of you here. Sure there are hardships and there are sure to be dark times here and there but with all of you here to shine a light in those times, to pick me up whenever I fall, I can confidently say that my life is a beauty and that will never change. Once again everyone was touched beyond words at the words Taeyeon had just sung for them. The Taeyeon that they all know, doesn't usually make her feelings known to everyone so for her to sing such a song for them expressing such feelings was such a rare and special thing. Taeyeon giggled as she saw her sisters, her partners, her girls tearing up once more saying shyly, "You guys know how I feel now right?" While making a heart shape with her arms with a silly smile on her face which made them laugh at her dorky actions.

"Taengoo, nado saranghae!!" Tiffany shouted while making the same heart back to Taeyeon causing laughter to erupt once more at her sweet actions for her bestie.

Jiyong who had remained silent the whole time, in awe and amazement of the woman in front of him, his woman. He then stood up and made his way onto the stage pulling Taeyeon into a tight embrace, earning him whistles and hollers from Super Junior making everyone laugh. Jiyong whispered to Taeyeon with much sincerity, love and vulnerability.

He then bent down on one knee causing an uproar from everyone in the room and shocked Taeyeon as her eyes widened looking down at Jiyong. "Kim Taeyeon, I already know that I can't live without you and to fulfil my selfish love for you, I am asking you to be mine for the rest of our lives. So Kim Taeyeon, are you willing to marry me?" Jiyong asked in earnest sincerity holding a gorgeous diamond ring towards Taeyeon.

Taeyeon was beside herself in shock coming back to herself saying "No." Shocking everyone in the room with Jiyongs smiling expression faltering into one of confusion and disbelief until Taeyeon smiled and hugged him excitedly shouting "I am more than willing to marry you Jiyong!" Causing everyone to let out a breath of relief before chuckling to themselves at the little prank Taeyeon had played on all of them.

Jiyong hugged Taeyeon back before pulling back and flicking her on the forehead saying "Don't scare me like that again." Making Taeyeon giggle mischeviously before pulling Jiyong into a kiss making everyone holler and whistle at the couple.

Except Baekhyun who shouted teasingly "Yah, Kwon Jiyong, you're already taking my soulmate away from me?!"

Jiyong smirked as he looked at Baekhyun answering back "It is precisely because of you that I decided to swoop in and take her for myself right here and now."

Taeyeon joined in Baekhyuns teasing saying "Thanks baekie, it's because of you that I get such a pretty diamond. As expected of my soulmate." With a wink while Baekhyun held up his drink with a wink back at Taeyeon.

"Yah! What are you doing to my fiancé?! And you Taeyeon, your going to be a married woman soon!" Jiyong scolded causing the room to erupt in laughter with Baekhyun and Taeyeon giving each other a thumbs up for the hilarious jealous outrage they had brought out of Jiyong. Jiyong interupted their signals to each other grabbing hold of Taeyeons thumbs up and making it a thumbs down causing Baekhyun and Taeyeon to laugh even harder at his actions.

"Ah, Jiyong, I love you." Taeyeon said wiping a tear out of her eyes from her laughter smiling sweetly at Jiyong.

" I love you too my Taeyeon." Jiyong whispered back.

"Best birthday ever!!!" Taeyeon shouted, as everyone chuckled at her outburst.
