Accidents happen

This feeling

Little did I know that, that was the last day I had legs to use...

SKREECHH!!!! BAAANG THUUD!

And before I knew it there were sirens and panic all over the place.

I then felt pain shoot through from my legs to my head as fast as a bullet.

I coughed blood as soon as I realized that the wheel was also on top of my stomach.

"HURRY GET EVERYTHING OUT OF THE TRUUU......!?"

I'm sure that the person said more than that but I couldn't hear because I had lost consciousness after what had just happened.

Minseok's POV

I was walking home from school when I had realized that I needed to get mums food n stuff so I stopped by the convenience store just when I came out of the store it started raining really really hard.

SCREEEECH!! BAAANG! THUUUD!!!

A truck was skidding full speed towards the footpath.

I knew that if I kept walking that way I would've gotten hit and crushed by the truck so I decided to go back into the store until...

I saw a little girl who looked around 3 years younger than me under the truck.

No one saw the little girl they were all concerned of the truck driver.

I ran outside and  called the ambulance as soon as I saw her cough out blood.

The man who was driving the truck saw me calling he came up to me and said.

"Its OK you don't need to call I survived."

I replied while pointing to the girl under the truck.

"The little girl is stuck under the wheel do you not see!!!!!!!!"

He turned and looked at the girl and cried.

"Its my fault! What do I do?!"

"HURRY GET EVERYTHING OUT OF THE TRUCK!!!"

I shouted. But I couldn't even hear my own voice because of the ambulances and a fire truck trying to get the truck off the little girl.

I then I saw the little girl faint. I panicked even more.

An hour later..

They finally got the truck off her.

They rushed her to the van I went inside with them.

Myung hee's POV

I woke up to the smell of chemicals.

I felt warmth on my right hand I turned and saw this 10 year old boy who looked worried.

Minseok's POV

I was holding her hand to reassure her when she wakes up.

Moments later she woke up, she seemed a little confused.

She looked up and saw me.

She smiled so brightly and said.

"Hello, my name is Myung hee, what's your name?"

how could a little girl like her be so positive after what just happened. Plus she looked so frail.

I tried my best to smile back and said.

"My name's Minseok, nice to meet you Myung hee."

"That smile looks so fake."

It's true I didn't smile properly because I was so worried.

Myung hee started talking but her voice was so soft almost like she was losing her voice.

"Did you know oppa, that today we had sports day and I won high jump because it was at the limit that was placed only seniors can just reach! I was so proud."

"That's great! You did well."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean it."

"Oppa how old are you?"

"I'm 10, how about you?"

"I'm 7."

"Wow you're only 7 and you can reach the pole and I can't"

"Oppa what do you like to do?"

"Me? I like to sing."

"Oppa, can you sing for me?"

"Okay."

I started singing and half way through the song she fell asleep.

Maybe I shouldn't have singed for her so that we could keep talking.

When we reached the hospital she woke up and said.

"Oppa, thank you, good bye I hope you have a wonderful life!"

"Yeah you too, Myung hee."

When she went to the emergency room, I regretted just saying

"Yeah you too Myung hee."

I wish said more because I knew I wasn't going to be able to see her again.

I called my mum to pick me up from the hospital.
