I kept quiet. Ignoring him

I was seriously shocked, almost not believe he would say that.

I confused not knowing what to do and try to look at my friends in the train to not heard what he's just said. I feel like i'm embarassed.

"Thank you", eventually i answer him while still keep reading a book, with a flat intonation, without looking at him.

With the low voice like a whisper, i heard he said :

" but i haven't love you yet," he said. " i don't know if in the evening".
