It has been a long time since Lee Sooman has appeared at the SM Entertainment building donning a professional business suit.

Since 2010, it has been a rare occurrence for Lee Sooman to appear at the SM building donning professional wear. It could only be assumed that after the death of his wife in 2014, he'd only retire from such businesses. However, sources claim having seen the same man entering the building in a professional business suit. 

A trainee from SM suggests that Lee Sooman is planning to debut his own group after nearly six years of inactivity in the entertainment business. Another trainee also stated that while the founder did visit the building occasionally, his main purpose was to check up on how his trainees were doing while giving them some pointers and encouragement. 

However, SM's Kim Youngmin has only recently debuted Red Velvet, so it seems slim that Lee Sooman will be allowed by his successor to debut a girl group. On the other hand, EXO is very popular these days and focusing on another boy band will prove difficult, as well as take away from SM's so-acclaimed money maker boy band.
