Amaurotic

Description

She's never seen all the world has to offer | He's never seen all he could be

Hoseok had never seen the extraordinary in life. He went to a normal high school and graduated as an average student; he went to college undeclared and worked in a little café taking orders from people that chatted about nothing. Everything about Hoseok's life was ordinary...expected. And then Sunmi wandered into his life. She saw everything he couldn't. Everything about her was just as ordinary as  him, but she was the most extraordinary person he had ever met. She opened his eyes, showed him all that life could offer if you just looked.

"Oh man, our server is downright adorable," she giggled.

"Oh, yeah, I agree," I said sarcastically.

"Okay, Sunmi, I don't need your sass," she laughed back.

"What does he look like?" I asked, using my hands to feel the table before placing my elbows on it to lean forward.

"Well, he's got a long face, for one," she laughed again, "he's youre typical brown eyes, brown hair guy, but he's got a fantastic smile. Even if it's just his 'I-get-paid-to-be-nice-to-customers' smile, it's still adorable. His whole face lights up. His eyes crinkle up so you can barely see them, and his smile is huge. He's also got a sort of soft, kiddish look to him even though he looks grown."

"The way you describe people is my favorite," I sighed.

"After fifteen years with you, I've learned how to show you all the hot guys you can't see," she said. I could imagine a smirk forming across her lips, and when I reached out to feel her face I found that I was right.

"Ooh! He's coming back!" Areum hit my arm excitedly.

"I mean, you did ask for the check," I chuckled.

"Okay," she huffed, "but he doesn't have anything in his hands and he looks really awkward."

She quickly shut up and I could hear the padding of his shoes on the soft carpet. Afer a moment, his steps came to a stop next to my side of the table. I turned my head slightly in his direction, wondering if he was going to address me. For a while, though, it was just silent.

"Yes?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Uh, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go out for lunch some time?"
