"What's that?" Sungmin asked Kyuhyun as he held the door for the young man who is carrying a long box.

"A keyboard." Kyuhyun shortly answered."You also play the piano, right? I saw you playing twice during a school concert
before."

Sungmin nodded "I did." He sigh and smiled. "You really love music. I always knew you would do something like this."

"Uhm...

"You know that if I am not the successor, I would have been in a group or doing solo music... or maybe I could be in a duo
wherein my loving partner here would be playing and writing music with me and sing. What do you think?"

Sungmin smiled at him... "As long as you have more singing lines than me... besides I can do more in writing than singing."

Kyuhyun chuckled as he put down the box and hugged his lover. "I knew you would always give in to me..." he looked down and
felt a little bit sad. "You're the only one who accepts the fact that I like music."

"Kyuhyun-ah... we both know that you're voice is simply the best. Don't worry... this keyboard is safe with me."

The young man opened the box and placed his keyboard somewhere in the corner of Sungmin's living room. "I'm quite sorry that
I have to keep this here. It'll be taking a lot of your space."

"As long as you'll play it every now and then... it'll be fine. This place is already half yours. Besides, I can use it when
you're not around. I'll take care of it."

"Thank you... Minnie-ah."

Sungmin and Kyuhyun's arrangement in that apartment is quite simple. Sungmin owns the place and Kyuhyun is a lover who at times
visits... but as the older man said, his lover owned half of his place... why? because he has given Kyuhyun the duplicate
key. He can go in and out of the house as long as he wants.

At some point of time, Kyuhyun would do surprise visits to him. He likes giving his lover surprises, like suddenly coming in
the middle of the night hugging him while he's in the middle of his dreams. At times, when he would feel naughty, Kyuhyun would
just come and suddenly he's already behind Sungmin in the shower. It's just a matter of timing for him.
He placed his duplicate key with the half of his puzzle necklace. He put it together so as not to lose both.

A week after, Sungmin was sitting down at the edge of bed while the younger one is still sleeping. He smiled reading
the sheet of paper he has. Kyuhyun suddenly saw the back of his lover so he sleepily crept and hugged him from behind.

"What's that?"

Sungmin smiled proudly. "I wrote a song... in case you forget about me."

"Yeah... like I can." His smile slowly disappeared as he read the words "Only the shattered piece of memory is pierced in me.
Deep in my heart, in a place deep in my heart." he looked at Sungmin and wondered. *Author's note: song from Mr. Simple Album: My Love, My Kiss, My Heart*

"Why did you write such song? It's not like I'm going somewhere."

"Because I like it when you sing sad songs, you can simply pull it through. Sing this for me, ok?"

Kyuhyun just chuckled and sighed. "Attention to Lee Sungmin sshi... if I ever get lost or forget anything... I have your
key to use to trace back my memories."

"Just sing this once... please?" Sungmin pouted with a cute smile.

Who could ever refuse that smile? The battling eyes and that bunny teeth put together in that perfect face? Kyuhyun looked at
him doing all his cute stuffs which never fail nor has been rejected. He nodded a few times and Sungmin clapped feeling happy
with his small victory.

Sungmin prepared his mp3 for recording as Kyuhyun sat beside him in front of the keyboard. "Sungmin-ah... you haven't really
finished this, right?"

The older man nodded.. "it's quite hard to add more sad things."

"Because you're silly... who ask you to write such a sad song anyway?" Sungmin smiled sticking his tongue a bit.

"I'll remember to help you finish it." Kyuhyun said.

"Really?" Sungmin asked excitedly. Kyuhyun nodded and recorded the song for him.

It was quite tiring, Sungmin can be too perfectionist that even if it is an unfinished song... he wants it to be perfect.
Kyuhyun just give in to him. Afterall, his sweet lover is the only one who supports him with his love for music. It's just
one of the million reasons why he fell in love with him.

"Hyung..." Kyuhyun called Sungmin during one office hours.

"Yah... why are you calling me at this time? You know there is work!" Sungmin whispered on his phone. He heard Kyuhyun chuckled
as he knows how dangerous it is for both of them.

"Let's go somewhere... I'll see you tonight. ok?"

"What-" Sungmin looked at his phone and placed it in his ears again. "Hello? Yah!" he looked again and tried. "Yah!" He rolled
his eyes and started with his work again.

That night, Kyuhyun brought him to an overlooking place... it was quite cold and windy, and the lights from the city just
mesmerised Sungmin. He smiled as he saw the breath taking view. "Woah..."

They were like under the stars and above the world as he sees the sparkles of the building lights under them and stars that
seemed to be beaming especially bright that night. Kyuhyun could only smile and be satisfied with his lover's reaction. He
knew the older man will like it. It's always been those simple things that makes Sungmin happiest.

"You like it?" he asked, although obviously he knows the answer.

Sungmin nodded. "Uhm... it's like another world in here." He looked at Kyuhyun. "thank you."

The young man held his hand and squeezed it shortly before going to the compartment of his car.

"Tah... I have a blanket and a bottle of soju."

The two of them sat beside each other making themselves warm with the alcohol and with each other's embrace.

This night was simply wonderful... too peaceful they didn't wish it to end.

It was almost dawn when they've decided to go back to the city. Kyuhyun sped up so as they can go back to the city before dawn
breaks. However, seeing Sungmin sleeping peacefully in the car he decided to slow down a bit. He stepped on the break slowly
but he felt like it didn't slow down at all.

Kyuhyun's heart beat faster as he was already stepping really hard on the break but it is not stopping yet. Sungmin opened his
eyes and looked at his lover with a smile.

"Kyuhyun-ah... slow down. It's Saturday, we don't need to hurry up."

"O-Oh..." he said.

Sweats are forming on his forehead as he keeps on looking at Sungmin, worried that they might meet an accident on the way. He
held that handbrake tightly.

"Minnie-ah..."

"hmm?" Sungmin asked with a smile... but his smile turned into a frightened face when he saw Kyuhyun being nervous.

It is not like him. It is not likely for Kyuhyun to be nervous... not at all. So why is he trembling? Why are there sweats on
his forehead. Why is he looking at me that way? Sungmin thought. He swallowed a bulk of saliva and tried to calm himself down.
He closed his eyes and said a silent prayer... they're gonna be fine, everything is going to be fine.

"Minnie-ah..." He opened his eyes and saw Kyuhyun smiling at him.

'Cho Kyuhyun it's not the right time to smile. Stop smiling like that... like you want to say goodbye. These are the thoughts
in Sungmin's head then again...

"I love you..." Kyuhyun whispered as he wrapped his arms around Sungmin and the car just sped up and bumped on the tree.

"No!" Sungmin shouted as Kyuhyun bumped his body on the car receiving a serious impact as Sungmin hit his body on the window
of the door car.

Sungmin jumped off the bed catching his breath... he tried calming down but he cannot. This nightmare is too scary to be true.
He doesn't want to dream that kind of dream again. He doesn't want to lose Kyuhyun... not even in dreams. Tears are coming up
in his eyes as he continuously catch his breath. He closed his eyes hard and moved up his shaking hands to brush his fringe
up.

Finally, he noticed that he is wearing a sedative and a white gown. He looked around and realised that he is in the hospital.

"Hyung... thank god you're awake." Donghae said standing up and holding his hand.

"Where am I? What happened to me?" he asked, hoping not to hear an answer that can be related to his dream.

"You-you were in an accident last night... don't you remember?"

It was too fast to see what happened outside. Sungmin's mind flashes things that happen last night. What he remembers was
he heard Kyuhyun whispered 'I love you' and then hugged him, the car sped up even more and finally it stopped. Crashing into
something that is more likely a tree, probably wrecking the hood of the car as he felt so much of the impact. He himself hit
his head on the door because the impact was too much. Thanks to his seatbelt he did not hit himself on the dashboard... aside
from that Kyuhyun was there to cover himself to him-

Where is Kyuhyun?

Sungmin looked around the room and panicked.

"Donghae-ah... where is Kyuhyun?"

Donghae looked at him shortly and looked away, not wanting to meet his hyung's eyes.

"Yah... Lee Donghae!" he shouted with a cracked voice. "Where is Kyuhyun? Where is he?"

"He... Kyuhyun..."

Sungmin widened his eyes as big drops of tears races down his cheeks, once again... his breathing became fast and
uncontrollable.
