'Pasta?'

' hm...let's meet at my mum's restaurant then? Vivapolo! It sells pasta! : D '

' alright, sounds nice :) '

' meet me @ hongdall bus station at 6! '

' call! Ah i'm hungry already..'

Baekhyun threw his phone to his bed, sighing. He glanced up to see the clock, 10.34 am. It was Saturday though ao they don't need to go to school.

He looked up at thw ceiling, remembering his past converstation with Jongdae.

-flashback-

"HOLY. Byun ing Baekhyun have you lost your mind? Have you lost your heart?!" Jongdae randomly shouted at him. Well, not that randomly though. "

"I just- "

"NO YOU SHUT THE UP. It will only hurt you, Baek..you've been liking him for 2 years and now you wanted to let him go? And let him be with another person which you don't even know who the that person is?"

"It's probably Kyung--"

"This isn't right. Baekhyun..just stop yourself".

"I can't Jongdae, they say.. if you really love someone, you have to let them go.."

"And those people are liars".

"Jongdae i-"

"It's up to you. It's actually your own choice. I can't really do anything about it."

Baekhyun closed his eyes tight. At least.. he has 2 weeks to spend with Chanyeol before Chanyeol is taken..

And Baekhyun thought 2 weeks was enough.

"Here, Baekhyun!"

Baekhyun could see a figure of a tall man with a wide grin waved at him, making him to walk faster towards the man.

"H-hi."

"You've made it at the right time!" Chanyeol said while grinning as Baekhyun stood beside him.

"Yeah it's a promise anyway." Said Baekhyun with a shy smile although he was trying hard to hide it.

"Okay, let's go then! It's our bus!" Chanyeol grinned at him as he pointed at the bus which is came.

Baekhyun just nodded and let the taller drag him into the bus.

'Is it wrong to think that they were actually out for a date?' Baekhyun thought, so many times.

"Chanyeol, you're here!" Said a woman who seemed to be in her 40 something as Chanyeol and Baekhyun entered the vivapolo restaurant.

"Shin Ahjumma! Long time no see!" Chanyeol gave the woman a big hug which made Baekhyun smiled to himself, thinking how cute Park Chanyeol is.

"I missed you a lot! Wow you grew too much- look how tall you are right now!" The woman said while nudging Chanyeol's arm before noticing Baekhyun that had been smiling at her. "Whoaa- you bring your friend?"

"H-hi." Baekhyun smiled to the woman.

Chanyeol looked at him before turning to the woman again. "Yeah, he's helping me with something really important so---"

"He looks good! What's your name?" Shin ahjumma asked before Chanyeol could even finish his sentence.

"B-Baekhyun. I'm Byun Baehyun, mam." The shorter among the two boys said while lowering his head a little to show some respect to the woman.

"What a great name! You're so cute, you know! Is Chanyeol a good boy in school though?"

"Ahjumma! you scared him by questioning those question, can't you see?" Chanyeol held Shin Ahjumma's hand. "We barely known each other though so-"

"Alright, you two may take a seat now! I will serve u guys the best pasta!" she winked befote leaving Chanyeol and Baekhyun alone.

"Sorry for that-" Chanyeol grinned at Baekhyun while rubbing his nape. "Let's go eat." Said him before dragging Baekhyun along to their table.




 

"Boys, this is your dinner. Enjoy!" Shin Ahjumma said after she put two plates with so called the best pasta.

"Thank you!" Said Chanyeol and Baekhyun in sync.

"You're welcome. Im leaving, ok?"

Chanyeol just nodded to Shin ahjumma.

"My mum's pasta is actually the best but as you can she, she isn't here right now." Chanyeol said as he prepared his fork.

Baekhyun nodded as he listened to Chanyeol's words. "Well i think this isn't bad too. I guess she's like the best chef after your mom?"

"You're right! She's the best chef after my mom!" Chanyeol cackled before eating his pasta.

Baekhyun looked at the pasta, it was a spaghetti with meatballs and bolognaise sauce, with mash potato too. It looked really nice and delicious. He grabbed his fork before starting to eat his dinner. "Damn." He mumbled as the spaghetti got into his mouth. "This is too delicious!"

Chanyeol studied Baekhyun's face and laughed so hard.

"W-why do you laughing so hard?" Baekhyun gave him a questioning look.

"No- it's just..your face looks so excited and it's cute!" Chanyeol continued to laugh.

Baekhyun just blinked several times because he felt so dumbfounded. "I-." He started to blush in embarassment.

At the moment, Chanyeol stopped his laugh, drinking his cola so he won't choke anytime soon. "No, i'm sorry i couldn't control myself- enjoy yourself though-." Chanyeol said.

"Okay."

Baekhyun just nodded and stared at his spaghetti while suddenly he felt a tissue around his mouth. He looked up just to see a Park Chanyeol wiping his mouth. He automatically widened his eyes. "I-." He was about to take the tissue from Chanyeol's hand when Chanyeol pulled away his hand.

"There was a sauce around your mouth but i thougt u weren't so aware about it so- im sorry again this must became so uncomfortable for you.." Chanyeol said with an apologize and awkward smile.

"Ah-yeah it's okay." Baekhyun kept looking and focussed at his food, hoping that Chanyeol would never notice his pink cheeks that night.

"This ice cream store is so nice though. You have to try it." Chanyeol suggested as they walked around Hongdae while pointing at an ice cream store.

Baekhyun looked up at the direction, finding an ice cream store name 'Bèiłe' which had an odd concept. "Looks nice..." Baekhyun always likes vintage.

"I will treat you an ice cream for today, then!" Chanyeol smiled at him.

Baekhyun hoped this moment could last forever. But he knew that it wouldn't.

"C'mon!" Chanyeol exclaimed as he dragged Baekhyun along with him to enter the ice cream store.

"What's your favourite flavour?" Chanyeol asked.

"Hm.. strawberry.." Baekhyun answered carefully

"Okay then, a cone of strawberry ice cream and a cone of chocolate ice cream please!" Said Chanyeol to the cashier. 
"Alright." Said the brown haired cashier before preparing the ice cream.

"Did i choose the right flavour though?" Baekhyun asked while looking up at Chanyeol.

Chanyeol knitted his eyebrow and shrugged. "I don't really know.. because i've never really tried the strawberry ones before." Then he grinned shamelessly.

"You must be ordered chocolate all the time." Baekhyun mumbled while smirking, teasing the taller.

"Well- you're right." Chanyeol rubbed his nape and laughed.

"Caught ya."

"Here's the ice creams."  Said the cashier who had just back to standing in front of them while handing their ice creams.

"Thanks." Said Chanyeol while taking the ice creams from her hands, handing the pink one to Baekhyun. Then, he payed the ice creams.

"Thanks!" Baekhyun said to Chanyeol as he stared at his ice cream happily.

"You're getting excited over foods i see-"

"This isn't food though." Said Baekhyun before his ice cream.

"This is food!"

"This is dessert what do ya mean." Baekhyun rolled his eyes playfully.

"Nevermind Baekhyun Byun." Said Chanyeol with a cackle before suddey leaning down to Baekhyun's strawberry ice cream.

Baekhyun couldn't help but froze.

"This isn't bad.. i should order this one next time.." Chanyeol mumbled to himself before looking at Baekhyun with a confused look. "i-im sorry i just wanted to try it-"

"It's..okay"

Again, Baekhyun wished that Chanyeol didn't see his red cheeks.

"Baekhyun! How's yesterday?" Jongdae asked as soon as Baekhyun stepped into their classroom. Jongdae gave  him his sparkled curious eyes which seemed like he's begging to Baekhyun to tell him the whole story that happened on the last weekend.

Baekhyun stared at Jongdae for a long time, trying to hold his smile but he ended up smiling. "Well, let's say it was a date." Said Baekhyun while smiling to his bestfriend before noticing something. "Ah- only for me though, at least.." He mumbled sadly.

"A date?" Jongdae cackled.

"Yeah we ate pasta and we ate ice cream.." Baekhyun said while he remembering the said event which made him blush. Then he sat on his chair which was located near the window.

Jongdae sighed as he sat next to Baekhyun. "Baek, you know this isn't right..right?"

Baekhyun turned his head to face Jongdae. He was about to say something but instead, he sighed before mumbling, "I know."

"HA!!"

Baekhyun who was reading a technology book, jumped as he heard and felt someone was there. "OhMying GodnessTechnology is a thing that---"

Soon, he heard someone's laugh because of him.

"Okay Park Chanyeol, laugh." Said Baekhyun as he rolled his eyes playfully.

"Okay-okay imma stop." Chanyeol tried to hold back his laughter while giving Baekhyun a thumb up.

"So, im craving a burger.. actually.." Baekhyun said while looking at the other direction.

"Burger?" Chanyeol asked.

Baekhyun looked at Chanyeol and nodded.

"Alright let's grab a McD?"

Baekhyun just nodded.

The day ended up with Baekhyun's red cheeks again.

Baekhyun was packing his books and stuffs into his backpack when he saw a giant standing in front of his class.

He didn't actually notice that Chanyeol was standing there until Jongdae nudge his arm.

"What?" Said Baekhyun nonchalantly as he kept packing his stuffs without even take a glance at his bestfriend.

"Your boyfriend is here already." Jongdae whisperea as he gigled mockingly.

Baekhyun looked up at Jongdae, giving him a questioning look.

"There." Said Jongdae, pointing at the front door.

Baekhyun looked away from Jongdae, turning his gaze at the tall man which was standing in front of the classroom.

"Do you have any schedule after school?" Chanyeol asked as he smiled at Baekhyun once the latter found out his existance.

Baekhyun looked at Jongdae which was giving him a smirk. "Not really." He answered.

The giant walked in, approaching the two shorter men with a grin. "Good, let's eat tteokbokki for today then!!" He exclaimed happily. "I know this nice tteokbokki store though!"

"You do know a lot about food stores, don't you?" Baekhyun cackled while nodding. "Okay then i'm in."

"Great. Oh you're Jongdae, right? Want to go together with us? I will pay." Chanyeol said in a friendly tone as he looked at the other man beside Baekhyun.

Jongdae smiled while thinking about those tteokbokki. But.. the smile was gone in one second as he realised something. The smile was turning into a michievous smirk. "Oh, i'm cool! I have to do something after school though, so.. i'm leaving. You guys, have fun!" 

And with that, Jongdae left the two alone.

"How is it?" Chanyeol asked as he watched Baekhyun munching his tteokbokki.

Baekhyun was about to answer when suddenly he groaned. "I need water-" he mumbled in panic. "Water-water-"

Chanyeol knitted his eyebrows, panicking as well. "What-what happened?"

"Water- water!!"

Chanyeol ran to the cashier, buying a bottle of mineral water there before going back to Baekhyun on their table.

"Here! Here!" Chanyeol exclaimed as he handed the bottle to Baekhyun.

Baekhyun didn't say anything but drank it all in one shot which made Chanyeol confused.

As soon as Baekhyun put the bottle on the table, Chanyeol couldn't wait but asking, "Baek, what happened? Are you okay?"

Baekhyun tried to handle his breath before answering, "i-i'm okay it was just too spicy i-"

Chanyeol blinked before laughing so hard.

"Don't laugh, you yoda!" Said Baekhyun with red cheeks.

Chanyeol couldn't stop though.

"Let's play 20 questions." Chanyeol suddenly said while fixing his position. He sat on Baekhyun's bed, still feeling amazed by the latter's room.

"20 Questions?" Baekhyun asked while knitting his eyebrows. He gave a questioning look at Chanyeol as he kept flipping the megazine.

Chanyeol nodded. "Yeah, aren't we... bestfriends now? So we should know more about each other."

Bestfriends...

"Oh.. but i think 20 is too many. Let's just play 5 Questions." Baekhyun said softly.

"Hm.. okay 5 isn't bad."

"Okay you start."

"Right when is your birthday though?"

"6th of May. Well, and you?" Baekhyun asked his first question, eventhough he already knew. Well...

"27th of November." Chanyeol grinned. "So you're older.." He nodded with a smirk as if mocking Baekhyun's height.

"Hey, i know what are you thinking about." Baekhyun rolled his eyes.

"Well im not saying sorry, though. Second question, do you have a crush on someone?" The taller cackled.

Baekhyun rolled his eyes. "Uhm- yeah.." He felt his cheeks burning.

"Who?"

The scariest question was being questioned.

Baekhyun blinked. "Secret."

"It's not fair!!!" Chanyeol pouted.

Baekhyun rolled his eyes. "Height?"

"Secret." Chanyeol replied as he pouted again.

"What the !" Baekhyun rolled his eyes and chuckled.

"Favourite movie?" Chanyeol asked.

"Don't have any but i hate romance." Baekhyun answered truthfully. "Yours?"

"I like all kind of movies except for romance too!" He cackled. "So next question, are you gay or straight?" Chanyeol asked as if it's not a private question.

Baekhyun looked up and glared at Chanyeol before sighing. He was really mad at the question and kinda offended, actually. And so, Baekhyun did not answer the question. He was just staying quiet.

The day ended up with Baekhyun, being mad at Park Chanyeol for the first time. Yet, Park Chanyeol was clueless as .

"You look so.. different today.." Jongdae commented after studying Baekhyun's face all day long.

"Thanks." Baekhyun mumbled while rolling his eyes.

"What's so off?" Jongdae asked.

"Chanyeol."

"What's about him?"

Baekhyun sighed. He wasn't really in the mood to talk but he knows Jongdae very well. The latter would ask him like again and again if he won't answer.

"He asked me if im actually gay or straight."

Jongdae blinked, trying to process Baekhyun's words before let out his laughter. "Seriously, Baek- ha-ha"

"It's not funny!!!" Baekhyun whined as he frowned more.

"And so why would you mad when he ask that kind of question? Isn't it a good thing to let him know that you're actually liked him?" Said Jongdae as he flipped his notebook.

Baekhyun rolled his eyes. "Whatever, Jongdae. Soon, he will be someone's. There's no point of letting him know about my feelings, okay?"

Jongdae sighed, staring at his bestfriend's pale face in sadness. 'You're such an angel, Byun.'

"Baekhyun! I've been looking up for you in the last two hours!" Chanyeol said as he found the smaller in cafetaria.

Baekhyun just nodded, continuing his dish.

Chanyeol did notice something was off about Baekhyun. But, what was it? "Baek, is something wrong?"

"I think he's not feeling well-" Jongdae suddenly said as if telling Chanyeol to just go.

"Is it?" Chanyeol knitted his eyebrows, resting his palm on Baekhyun's forehead. "I think he's okay, aren't--"

"Chanyeol! I found you!" Suddenly, a boy with an owl eyes came.

"O-oh Kyungsoo. You're here--" Said Chanyeol with a grin and..... red cheeks?

Baekhyun couldn't help but stare at the two. He really wanted to cry, seeing their interaction. He didn't know, it was just.. weird feelings. 

Not the good one though.

"Baekhyun!"

The latter could hear someone was running towards him. Knowing who was that, he rolled his eyes lazily as he sighed, turning back his body to face the source.

"What?" Baekhyun said lazily as he looked up at Chanyeol.

"W-what's wrong with you?" Chanyeol asked as he tried to control his breath.

"Nothing." Baekhyun didn't really answer Chanyeol's question, locking his locker.

"I see something is wrong with you! Sorry i didn't treat you any foods yesterday, okay? I was busy with my school project." Said Chanyeol in sincere tone.

"It's not a big deal, anyways." Baekhyun faked a smile before preparing to go home.

Chanyeol in the other side stopped him by grabbing the latter's arm. "Where are you going to?"

"Home." Baekhyun answered.

"I will go with you."

"You don't need to, Chanyeol."

"I insisted." Chanyeol said before grabbing Baekhyun's arm, taking him to the bus station.
