“Wait a moment,” Dara said to her friend and dashed to the ATM booth.

Out of her luck, the booth was currently occupied by a guy. As indifferent as she was, Dara just shrugged it off and (tried to) patiently wait the guy. Three minutes passed and the guy hadn’t out yet.

Dara tapped her foot on the floor then turned to her friend and mouthed, “Mianhe,” while clapped her hands in front of her chest. Her friend only nodded, made she felt guiltier for making her friend waited longer that it should be. And the fact that their class would be start in less than ten minutes wasn’t help her to lessen her anxious.

She almost decided just to go to class and borrow her friend’s money first to pay the text book she ordered last week, when the booth’s door opened and the slow guy stepped out. Without a single glance she marched forward, but to her surprise, the guy that she dabbed rude for making her wait five minutes straight just to withdraw money, held the door open for her.

“Oh, thank you…” she said automatically, as if took action on its own since her brain was in freeze mode when she saw the guy’s face.

The guy just nodded and smiled while closed the door for her.
