BIG P.S: chapter three is NOT (I repeat, NOT) the ending of the story. It's just how they 'broke up.' The real story will start on chapter four. Sorry for any confusion while writing this storyline.

As I got to ground level and outside the café, I looked around to find Jessica but to no avail. I was about to walk back in the café until I heard a familiar irritated voice hissing all the curse words she knew in English and Korean. I saw Jessica seated on a bench and she was tapping her phone against her palm as if were a trick to turn on her phone again. I took a deep breath and headed towards Jessica who didn’t seem to notice me.

“Sica.”

“Go away Taeyeon.” She didn’t even look at me. I shrugged my shoulders and decided to sit next to her, knowing my life may be at risk. She didn’t seemed to be bother as she was only giving her attention to her phone. “That kid Kwon. How am I supposed to call Elijah to pick me up?” She sighed and slouched against the bench. I mimicked her pose and bit my lip, puckering up the courage to talk. “I’ll drive you.”

“Taeyeon, just go back up there. I’m pretty sure Tiff needs you more than me.” She waved her arms, shooing me away as if I was some bug.

“No.” I deadpanned. I looked over to see Jessica give me a weird look. I took a deep breath before speaking again. “Fany has the others to console her. You need someone and if you like it or not, it’s going to be me.” I grabbed her hand and started to drag her to my car.

I didn’t know where I got this act courage from, but I wasn’t going to let it go to waste. My mind wasn’t processing and I prayed it wouldn’t work again for I feared my courageous acts would come to a stop if it did. I forced Jessica to sit in the passenger seat which she listened well and I took the driver’s seat, driving off as soon as the car started.

We were quite the whole ride to her apartment. I would say it was normal between us, but it felt like we weren’t exactly on good terms with each other. I stopped at the front of the apartment, but left the car running. I turned my body towards her to see that she was looking out the window. I cleared my throat and spoke up. “Sica, we need to talk.”

“We’ll talk later, Taeyeon. Now let me out.” Jessica said as she looked back at me.

I shook my head. “This is serious Sica. You hurt Fany and I need to know why.” I killed the engine to the car off so I could hear her better.

“Oh please, Tiff will be back to normal by sunrise. You know her.” Jessica deadpanned. She looked away from me and crossed her arms as she always did. I got slightly irritated by the way she talked about Fany. To me, it had felt like Jessica had thought of Tiffany as someone so easy and predictable- which she was not.

I took a deep breathe to calm down my irritation. I couldn’t get mad now, especially since I’ve tried all day to be good. “I do
