Her cousin was the only person that really cared for  for her in her eyes. Whe Chae Jin was starting middle school life wasn't good to her, she was bullied a lot, she always felt down about her self, thats how she got her low self esteem from really. when she was in high school when she discoverd her love for singing, dancing , and rapping. She knew that she was going to become a singer even if life brings her down. so she tried for S.M diden't make it, J.Y.P diden't make it, Star Ship diden't make it, last but not least NH Media which she did made it. PLOTLINE [ ♦ ] Moved from Paris when she was two back to Korea. She had a huge interest in dancing and singing, and by the time she was ten she her parents got her a vocal coach and dance trainer. She made in into SM ENT. and became a trainee when she was fourteen. She was set to debut with Red Velvet but rumors of her and Key being together made it hard for her to debut so Joy took her place. She was dropped from the company and auditioned at four other companies -JYP, YG, A Cube, Startship ENT. and  NH Media- where finally she was accepted into NH.
