We have shadows that watch over us, we see them on the ground, but sometimes these shadows aren't only images of us.
Home-sick. When you live far away, it's easy to feel this way. Yet, we often forget that 'home' isn't always physical, and is often moving as we are.
Graduation is coming around the corner, and it's time for the last minute confessions and moments of our high school life. Searching through the yearbook, reading the messages left behind, we begin to remember the year. Even when we read it days after the graduation or years later, we always seem to have missed something within those moments.
We all change physically, emotionally, and behaviourally and it usually stems from one person or one event. We can't all stay and be the innocent children that we once were. We grow up, meet the world, and realize how vulnerable we are. Yet, if it weren't for that one person would your wall still remain in tact or crumble in pieces?
We all have insecurities. Whether it be from our physical form, our habits, and the people we hang out with. Yet, our biggest insecurities come about when we try to be in a relationship. "Are we good enough?", "Will (s)he like me?", and "(S)He likely doesn't".
We never had a choice to live. Most of us don't get the option of knowing when we die, and how. Yet, what if we did? Would we spend our lives trying to finish what we had started, or hang onto the life we had and avoid any interactions as if it was a plague? It's easy living to know that there will be an end, but it's harder to know that your end is coming closer than you had imagined.
We can't forget our first, but we live on loving our last. Some love stories were never meant to be while others continue to shine like the stars. It's easy to wish for love to be recipricated, but life doesn't always work that way. Love is a universal feeling, whether it be a love to a sister, brother, lover, friend, or pets.
