Sam isn't one who cares for labels. She'd rather wear something plain and simple as opposed to flashy and fabulous. She likes beanie hats and probably owns about more than 20 of them, in all different colours and with all different slogans or words. She generally likes to label her own style as casual-grunge, meaning she wears things like cropped shorts, long or short slogan shirts (to match her beanies) colourful skinny jeans and on her feet, either converse, creepers or docs, of any make and colour. She does love denim but will prefer just regular fabric clothes. She likes to be eccentric, and since those living in Korea aren't particuarly used to the style she has developed, she loves to go out into the street dressed the way she does.

★ Personality on-stage:
On-stage, Sam is a very charismatic girl. Regardless of the concept she is given, she's determined to give the best performance she can give. She's a very friendly idol onstage too, and will never hesitate to make eye contact with the fans in the crowd should she find the opportunity. She has been known to occasionally slip-up when on stage, and seems to be the member who literally slips when on stage, because she falls so often, which is simply due to her clumsy ways. As for other kinds of slip-ups, she may strain herself too hard and crack her voice. She has been known to do this quite a bit, and it sets her back a notch. 

When she is performing, Sam tries to give 100%. She struggles a bit because she still cannot quite grasp the number of people watching her, so she finds herself often quite intimidated before she goes on stage. However when she gets there and immerses into the song, she becomes almost a whole different person. Her dancing however is not at all her strong point, so she often finds herself places nearer the back because she tends to make mistakes, but when she is dancing, she gets pulled out of the little world she's in and experiences the nerves she had beforehand. She's improving on her dance but still finding trouble.

Off-stage, Sam is actually quite different. She is not all that shy but in reality she is more awkward than she lets on. However, she is probably one of the most sarcastic people you could ever meet. Dubbed the 'annoying sister' by friends and family alike, Sam always finds her own little ways of applying her sarcastic wit to her friends and family literally. They tend to still find it amusing though, the 'annoying sister' label merely being an affectionate thing. When Sam is with people she does not know very well however, it's quite a different story. She tends to become quite awkward and silent until presented with the opportunity to be heard and present herself in a manner she is comfortable with. She will never be sarcastic to anyone she is not friendly with, and tends to not make eye contact with them either, because she can't. The way in which Sam made friends prior to this was by them coming to her first and introducing themselves. Sam actually finds it rather difficult to approach people herself, despite her other traits. Sometimes because of her behaviour, she comes across as arrogant, which is something she is very far from. 

Sam is also a night owl, which can be taken as either an okay thing or a bad thing, but generally it's pretty bad. She spends hours upon hours in the early morning just surfing the net, whether it be YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram etc, because she simply cannot sleep. It poses quite a difficult thing when she does not sleep before performances. Because of this, people worry, but she tries to catch up on sleep in the van on the way to performances, just like a lot of other idols.  
Regardless of her awkwardness, Sam is very polite. She's also headstrong and determined, whatever the subject is, be it her singing and dancing, or her photography and art. She accepts criticsms wholeheartedly and tries not to take things too seriously, learning from mistakes and advancing herself with the aid of the comments given by family and friends. She cares a lot about getting far in the industry, so she tends to train a lot, but finds that it's not always that easy, and gets lazy. You're actually more likely to hear her singing in her apartment than in the training room.

Park Geumshik; 50; Step-father; Restaurant Owner; Geumshik is a smart and kind man who is always willing to throw himself under the bus to protect the people he loves. He's friendly and has always been loving towards Sam, even though she isn't his; Alive; 9/10; Geumshik is the father figure Sam can't live without. He's charming and fun for her to be around, and does his best to look after her and be kind. Often he brings home snacks for her from his restaurant, which is always something she looks forward to, since he always makes good food there. 
Park Yewon; 49; Mother; Housewife; Yewon is a real sweetheart. She has a big heart and a brightness that can put a smile on almost anyones face. Sam believes she got her bubbliness directly from her mother. Yewon is always trying her best to keep her husband and daughter happy and healthy; Alive; 10/10; Sam is very protective of her mother and likes to spend lots of time with her. Even though she moved out she still kept coming back for regular visits. She respects her mother and is grateful for everything she does. Sometimes she can get a little stroppy with her, but she'll apologise and make ammends. Her mother still babies her even now, which sometimes irks Sam, but she tries not to mind.

Kang Jongmin; 21; Best friend; University Student; Jongmin is bright and bubbly and the perfect match for someone of Sam's character. He's funny, both verbally and physically, since he's always doing body gags. He can be a bit clingy sometimes but he never is towards Sam, so she never finds it bothers her; Alive; 10/10; They usually do everything together. Being one of her two bestest friends in the whole world, since high school in Korea, she spends most of her time by his side. He trusts her with his biggest secret too; he's in the closet!
Lee Aesook; 21; Best friend; University Student/Café worker; Whilst Aesook isn't exactly as 'bright' as Jongmiin, she's still a big barrel of laughs and that's all that matters. She is quite humorous, which Sam loves and she's just as sarcastic as the latter. Aesook considers herself to be quite amusing too. She and Jongmin have dreams to be in comedy when the opportunity arises; Alive; 10/10; They act as any best girlfriends would. They shop together, hang out together, do everything together basically. Sam convinced her to get three of the four ear piercings she has now and has adjusted her fashion sense somewhat over the years of being together. Their favourite thing to do is to go just them and Jongmin to the beach. They're also obsessed with taking group selfies. 

★ Background: 
Sam was born on the 4th October 1992 in Carson City, Nevada. Her parents, Yewon and biological father Lee Ryejun, adored and spoiled her, even buying her Muffin when she was three. But it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows under their roof. There were a lot of arguments that became more and more evident to Sam, mostly about her father and the financial issues he was putting them through. Still, Sam was a bright, happy little girl as she attended school in the US, learning to speak fluent English from her school friends and Korean from her mother and father. During the break period before Sam was due to enter into high school, her mother decided they were going to leave. She signed the divorce papers and handed them to Ryejun, and the day Sam witness her father slap her mother was a day she'll never forget. After that, Sam was a quiet child. Her mother took her back to Korea in the following few weeks with the money they had received on account of the divorce. 

Once they were back in Korea, things became good again. Sam stopped being quiet, but remained ever protective of her mother. She wasn't going to let another man lay so much as a finger on her. The very first people she met in high school were Jongmin and Aesook, and they've been like peas in a pod ever since. She spent days in and out with them, always going over to their houses and having sleepovers. Then, two years later, her mother met someone new. Geumshik. A restauranteur with a charming demeanour. Sam liked him, and in a short time, her mother married him. It wasn't long after this that Sam realised what she wanted to do with her life. She grew into a huge kpop fan whilst living in Korea and after she sang as her mother's wedding, she realised that was exactly what she wanted to do. She began to practice, so by the time she auditioned, she would be good enough. She sent in an audition a year before her graduation from high school, which unfortunately was rejected, but she was not deterred. Following shortly after her graduation, she sent in a second audition tape, which was accepted. She joined the trainees not long after, much to her delight.

★ Personality:
Soojae is undeniably an arrogant person, but she masks it behind a somewhat sweet exterior. She is a friendly person to those she actually cares about, but when you're on her hit list, that gives her no reason to be nice to you whatsoever. She's generally quite blunt and upfront about things, and if you're causing a problem she won't hesitate to say it to your face. However, Sam has only really seen the bitter side to Soojae. If you can handle the y, she can be a lovely person. When it comes to those she does care about, she's very protective and thoughtful, which generally comes as a surprise should you witness the arrogance first. As if not obvious, Soojae is very competitive. If someone else does something and she doesn't, she gets very angry and very bitter with a snap of her fingers. During her high school years, she wasn't as bad, but over time her bitterness has grown. She has a boyfriend, but he doesn't mind her personality because he's practically on the same wavelength.
★ How you met: Sam met Soojae in High School after moving to Korea, so they spent a few years together.
★ How you interact: Before Sam and Soojae auditioned, they weren't on such rough terms. Being in high school together, they were originally classmates, and were somewhat friendly with each other. They weren't actual friends but they weren't as they are now, almost at each others throats constantly. Sam doesn't hate Soojae, but Soojae has a strong disliking to her. Sam, awkwardly enough, often sees her on a daily basis, since Sam always visits the same coffee shop after her morning jog, and that's where Soojae often goes too. They don't speak, but Soojae glares and Sam rolls her eyes. Sam just finds it amusing and feels like there would be a hole in her heart should ever it stop.
★ Why you're rivals: Sam and Soojae auditioned for BENT around the same time. Both failed the first time around, but Sam was accepted the second time, whilst Soojae was not. Since then, Soojae has resented and hated her, but will not admit her jealousy.

★ Personality: 
Suga; He's basically a big sweetheart. One of the main points of Suga's personality that Sam likes most is the fact that he is dedicated. As someone who started from the underground rapping scene, it was a big step for him, and it's something that Sam appreciates. She's a big lover of K-rappers after all, even if she'd never make it as one herself. Besides that, Suga is just the kind of person you would expect from that cute face. He's an extremely friendly guy, particularly to his own fans. Fancams are enough evidence for that. He's always willing to meet and greet his fans. Suga is one for being funny, especially with facial gags. He's pretty much an idiot, but a lovable one at that. He's a respectful person, and quite senstive also. He sometimes finds himself struggling with bad criticsms. In a relationship, he has a tendency to be quite jealous too. He won't go to the extremes with jealousy, but he will make it evident. 

Lay; Lay has a very sweet personality, as most EXO fans will agree with. He's sweet from the inside out and sometimes seems to be unaware of how charming he really his. To add to that, he often does seem totally out of touch and just in his own little world, but it's one of Sam's favourite things about him. He's a very passionate person, particularly towardsa his career and his the things he is best at, the main of course being dance. Lay is also relatively naive and doesn't always catch on to things as easily as the other members. He tends to find almost anything funny, but when it comes to serious things like his relationships or big career event,s he will take it as serioulsy as he has to. Whilst be may be quiet, he's determined  and has a good head on his shoulders. Relationship-wise, Lay tends to be pretty cute about it. He's one to treat his girl like a princess and nothing less, but will often get to be a little unsure about things they might argue about, which is sometimes considere an issue. 

★ How you met: 
Suga; Suga and Sam first met after Sam was accepted into BENT. Since they were trainees around the same time, she ended up tagging along with a few other of the BENT trainees she had become friends with, since they were friendly with the BTS boys. She felt a little awkward at first since she had never met them before, and she generally gets shy around attractive people, but Suga, since he didn't know the other trainees either, decided to talk to her first and try to make it less awkward for her. They chatted for a while and slowly became friends. After that, Suga insisted they keep in touch, so if this ever happened again, they wouldn't be awkward, making Sam laugh, but she agreed anyway and they've been keeping contact ever since. Privately, of course. 

Lay; Sam met Lay at one of EXO's first concerts. She was one of their first fans, and was lucky enough to have backstage access with a couple of other trainees after they went to the conert together as friends. They chatted to the boys backstage for a short time, but Lay was only focused on her the entire time. He almost never said anything to her but managed to speak to her very briefly before they had to leave. After that, he tried looking for her, and when he found that she was a trainee at BENT, he was excited. He wanted to see her again and he guessed that if she debuted, he undoubtedly would. 

★ How you interact: 
Suga; They act like idiotic best friends. Suga likes to make her laugh and Sam likes to be her sarcastic self towards him, so generally they have fun when they're hanging out together. They don't generally get to see all that much of each other so when they do, it's like a miracle. Suga does not quite yet understand that Sam likes him, a lot actually, but the members of BTS are always teasing when they're together and hinting that fact, since they deduced it already. Sam always finds a way to persuade Suga to rap with her as she sings when they hang, which is one of both of their favourite things to do. They're very friendly to each other, but will be mean to one another in a playful way. 

Lay; Since they never really met properly, they're still more like friendly aquaintances than actual friends just yet. Lay is a bit shy to talk to her if he sees her, but will force himself to do so. I they do bump into each other however, Sam is kind enough to stop and chat for a while. She wants to closen her friendship with Lay, since he is her EXO-M bias, and so she generally enjoys hanging out with him, whilst Lay tries not to be shy or do something silly around her, though he never manages to do so. They usually have good conversations, as Sam loves to talk to him regardless of anything stupid that might come out of his mouth. She just considers it cute.

★ How she entered BENT: Sam entered BENT through a trainee audition programme. She was not accepted first time around, but got int he second time.
★ Trainee background: Sam's trainee live was pretty normal. She got on well with the other trainee girls and was usually a bright spark that tried to keep everyone cheery during tiresome rehearsals. She was on the good side of everyone most of the time, but when she started slacking from her own lack of will to go on, people got quite frustrated. Having not been a major dancer, she sometimes struggled with keeping up with the better dancers.
