APPEARANCE ♡ having had an australian father, she got his eyes, making her a (half) Korean with lovely blue eyes. her hair reaches halfway down her back, and has stayed the same dark brown it has been all her life. on her left shoulder she has a cute birthmark that resembles a star. she is also quite tall, reaching 170cm; her weight is 63kg. she has her left ear pierced in three places; lobe, anti-tragus and snug. her right is pierced four times; lobe, rook, forward helix and tragus.

STYLE ♡ elena usually goes for a more mature look when she's going out, so the likes of dresses, skirts and long coats are often on the list. (the types of clothes in sun young's gallery really ^^). however when she's at home or just relaxing, she'll slip into something more cosy, like an oversized sweater or shirt or just a billowy dress. in terms of formal events, she doesn't tend to go too short with her dresses. though she will sometimes wear shorter ones, she generally has them no shorter than the knee. she will usually sleep in a tank top and shorts, as she doesn't really care about pyjamas. what she does care for however is slippers. she has many a pair of them, her favourites being the ones her mom bought her, with little cat faces. /because she's mature, of course./

PERSONALITY ♡

(+mature -impulsive) elena has always been quite a mature young lady. even at a young age, but that was mainly because a lot was going on, and she felt like it was her place to be the mature one for her mother's sake, since her father certainly never was. as such, the mature behaviour she developed stuck with her as she grew up into the young lady she is today. she's very polite and will rarely be seen acting childish in public. when she goes out with her friends, she won't act silly with them. she worries that people might think she's a prude or a spoilsport, but she can't help it. however, in one condition only with she let go off that maturity. food. you take her food, you're going to get what's coming to you.  because of her mature nature, she's very good in numerous situations, because she knows how to be calm and deal with it. particularly with small children, she's good at keeping her calm and coming to a justified solution to the problem. however her maturity isn't quite all there. she has a tendency to be impulsive, which is something she can never stop when it happens, so she must deal with the consequences. she's often making decisions on impulse or even buying things on impulse. it's a bad habit she's well aware of and is struggling to change. she makes some rash decisions as a result of this behaviour, and she hates it. 

(+amiable -volatile) elena has always been friendly. despite the fact she often thinks she appears cold, everyone tells her otherwise, tells her she has a very friendly manner about her. it makes her likable and she's quite good at making friends. it might seem doubtful to some, given her friend list, but she's good at making friends, not good at wanting to make friends. she'll only make friends if she wants to be friends with someone. however it's quite rare that she'll actually reject someone's friendship. she's a warm-hearted and open-minded girl who can always see everyone's side of things. usually. however, she sometimes finds herself having mood swings when she least expects or wants them. she has a short temper so all it takes is an annoying human being and her awkward mood swings. it can make her either unpleasant or a little bit crazy, but people have still found a way to be around her when they happen. she's quite emotional so she thinks her moods swings come from that. she can easily find her way to any mood from the smallest thing, which gets to be quite irritating on her behalf. 

(+confident -reserved) confidence has always been something elena was happy about. she knew a lot of people who struggle to have confidence in even doing the smallest things, people with anxiety and nervous dispositions. luckily, she's never been someone like that, though she has helped them. elena finds it easy to be in front of others, be it on stage or at a press conference, or even just in a crowd of fans. she figures her confidence was possibly derived from her father's arrogance, since he was able to be that way so easily. her mother was not all that confident, so it wasn't from her. but elena had an easier time doing a lot of things, particularly in school, but her confidence paired with her impulsiveness lead to weird decisions more that once when she was in school. including asking out boys who rejected her. however it helps her through situations she'd otherwise be stuck in, like odd fan questions, and this show itself. despite her confidence in those kind of situations, her confidence face to face with another person in terms of her emotions is a different story. she's generally a reserved girl and if things happen at home, her friends don't know about it. if it's with friends, often her mom won't know about it, but her mom is very good at getting it out of her. her mother is the only one who can do that. she keeps a lot of things from people, because it's easier than having people worry for no reason. or at least, that's how she sees it. 

BACKGROUND ♡ elena was born to an already-at-breaking-point family, her korean mother eunjin, and her australian father stanley. they were at pieces because of stanley, but somehow kept the relationship together until elena was ten years old and had started school long before. after elena's eleventh birthday, her mother informed her that she and stanley were getting a divorce. her mother was unsurprised to see elena's lack of reaction, because she knew stanley hadn't done anything to get close to her. after the divorce was final, elena and her mother, who had also taken back her maiden name jeon, moved out of the house, and to the other side of melbourne. there, eunjin began to teach elena korean. despite her age, she was very eager to learn and quick too. when elena was 12, her mother decided to move back to korea. elena finally got to meet her korean grandparents, and became slowly more fluent in the language. growing up in seoul and making new korean friends in school, elena was soon introduced to k-pop, and she fell in love with it. as a teen, her idol was BoA. she loved her, and how pretty her voice was. when elena discovered she had a pretty little voice of her own, she was encouraged by her family to try and make it in the music industry. she agreed, and tried everything to get into loen. at age 17, she was accepted into loen as a trainee, after a long, difficult journey to get there. however, they decided to wait until after elena graduated to debut her. from before she was 17 (15), and up until she was 18, she helped her mother through a stage of depression she had fallen into. thankfully, her mother recovered. elena debuted with 'heaven' in 2012, when she was 20, just a year after her graduation, and prepared herself for her new life. she still worries about her mother of course, but eunjin supports her wholeheartedly, so elena feels better with her support behind her. 



LIKES ♡ 
─ music; she likes c-clown, iu, eric nam, royal pirates, super junior, shinee (and more) and a variety of english music.
─ animes; since she was young, she's loved them. her favourite is When Seagulls Cry.
─ horror movies; as long as they're not cheesy, she's down for a good horror! 
─ disney; who doesn't like disney? 
─ baking; her mom taught her a lot of baking recipes, so she still enjoys to bake when she gets the chance.
─ guitars; she plays her own guitar. she wanted to play more instruments, but ended up too in love with her guitar.
─ sleeping; she believes if you don't like to sleep, you're either weird or an insomniac.
─ pokemon; much like with animes, she's loved it since a young age. 
─ reading; she likes nothing better than the escapism found in the pages of a good book. current favourite is battle royale (she also likes the movie).
─ children; assuming they're not little brats, she loves the majority of children. she just thinks they're really cute!

─ rain; it makes her hair go curly, and no matter what the movies say, she will never find it romantic to kiss in the rain.
─ meat; she's a vegetarian, so meat is a no-go! 
─ cockroaches; as if anyone likes them anyway. she freaks out if she sees them. 
─ messy rooms; she doesn't like when places unclean. she'll clean them herself if she has to. 
─ thunder; she has a hatred of thunder, but she doesn't understand why. she loves to watch lightning though. weird right? 
─ lots of aegyo; she's not one to do a lot of aegyo, so she doesn't like to see a lot of it either. she won't complain however, it's just a dislike. 
─  mushrooms; she's allergic to mushrooms. plus she just generally hates them. 

HOBBIES ♡ 
─ playing guitar; she plays it for a lot of her songs, so she generally plays in any free time she's got. 
─ writing songs; she doesn't write her own yet, but she's written a few she's keeping hidden in a pillow somewhere.
─ reading; if she's not doing anything, or she's just about to go to bed, she'll do some reading. 
─ watching animes online; she doesn't have much time to do that lately, so if she can't sleep at night, she'll watch some animes. 
─ playing games; she owns an old gameboy colour that still works, so she keeps it in her bag (with pokemon games at the ready) at all times. for emergencies of course.

HABITS ♡ 
─ playing with her clothes when nervous; if she does end up nervous, she'll rub the fabric of her shirt or whatever she has on between her fingers to soothe herself. 
─ hiding when upset; she doesn't like people to see when she's upset, so she usually will go somewhere, be it the next room, just anywhere there isn't people around. 
─ yawning inappropriately; she accidentally yawns (loudly) when people are talking to her, so she looks like she's bored. it usually ends in her trying to fix the situation with the said people.
─ drinking too much coffee; she really likes coffee, so it's easy for her to overload on the stuff.

─ needles; a reasonable fear. needles are scary! 
─ clowns; her other fear. she really hates clowns with a passion, more than the fear of needles.

PERSONALITY ♡ in one word, eric is lovable. he's friendly, trustworthy, fun and quite frankly, he's a bit crazy too. but you can't meet eric and then say you dislike him. at least, not straight away! atop being so friendly, eric is a total people person. he loves to make people laugh (or at least smile if that fails), and he always knows what to say to them. well, usually. however he tend does interact better with those who speak english as well as korean, since he's more confident in speaking english than korean. regardless he gives everything his all and isn't one to turn away at the prospect of hard work. he does find himself with concerns from time to time, as to whether or not his manner of behaving is too much sometimes. when he's in a situation where he's begun to think like that, you'll now about it. he'll be very quiet and you might forget he's even in the room, though he'll get over it eventually. however don't confuse that with his general thinking. if he's doing just the same, but with a really unusual face, he's just being weird. he's not shy around the ladies, but if he likes someone, you'll be able to tell. whilst he doesn't act typically coy, he plays around with things and can't look away from her face for long. so, all in all, he's a lovely, yet weird individual with the same kind of worries and feelings as your average joe, and a tendency to stare at pretty ladies. his main worry now is how he will fare with the kids? 

RELATIONSHIP BEFORE ♡ they had met a few times prior to the show. they hadn't quite become friends yet but they liked each other, for sure. eric wanted to add her to the group of 'english speaking k-idols' he was friends with, but had never quite got to it yet. 

INTERACTIONS ON CAMERA ♡ whilst on camera, elena feigns being cold to get him to try on his charm. she has an idea of what viewers like to see, so she breaks character most of the time so she's not labelled as actually being cold. they're friendly and caring towards each other, and it becomes evident they are growing closer as friends. elena lets out her playful side on camera with eric, because she likes to match his personality. she doesn't like to disagree or argue with him about anything, so they rarely end up doing so, unless it's a joke, which usually comes from eric's side. he likes to fake-argue with elena, just to see her reaction. he's also really dramatic on camera, which usually ends with elena playfully whacking him over the head.

INTERACTIONS OFF CAMERA ♡ off camera, they're barely all that different. eric is a lot less dramatic of course, but they're still just as friendly toward each other as they are on camera. elena is happy to be friends with him, and eric's just excited to have another english-speaking friend. he feels comfortable around her because of that, or more so than he would if the situation were otherwise. they talk a lot together off camera, and occasionally forget to talk to the others that are around.  they have similar interests, so they easily get into a deep conversation. on camera, elena refuses to call him oppa, but off camera, she's ever so slightly more willing. she still calls him rick off camera, just as he calls her ellen.

RELATIONSHIP AFTER ♡ after the show, they left as extremely good friends, but both of them are starting to feel a little spark between them, though which one will admit it first?

CHILD ♡ lee sumin

FIRST MEETING W/ HUSBAND ♡ both elena and eric were given instructions to meet at a given location on a certain day, at a certain time. that was it. to say she was nervous was an incredible understatement. she didn't even know who to hope for, since she wasn't really close to a lot of male celebrities. their location was a local café, which elena thought sounded a lot like the beginning of the type of fanfictions she'd heard about, but never cared to read. when she arrived, she was alone. yes, there were others in there, but considering no man had approached her, she figured he wasn't there. after a single moment, he appeared behind her, and tapped her shoulder. when she saw it was eric, she was quite thrilled. they shared in a hug before they had to go meet the child.

FIRST MEETING W/ CHILD ♡ the first meeting with the little girl was a bit awkward for eric. she was at a park just a little way away from the café. elena fell in love with her almost immediately. as they approached her, she was swinging on the swings, but stopped as they came close. they greeted her kindly, but eric tried to be funny and it backfired. she got a little intimidated by his demanour, and hid behind elena's leg. eric was quite embarrassed to have done that already. whilst sumin gave no signs that she actually favoured (or liked) elena just yet, she allowed her to carry her.

CHILD INTERACTIONS W/ MOTHER ♡ elena loves sumin. she's always trying to play with her and do things with her. knowing that she enjoyed reading, she reads to her lots, and will even read her to sleep if she'll let her. she's fascinated with sumin's liking toward bugs, though if she were to bring any inside, she wouldn't be pleased. elena sometimes finds herself trying to find sumin around the place. since she's shy, she hides around the house. elena cares for her like a real mother would, and tries to do everything for her, but does have some rules and will not allow sumin to do anything that violates them.  

CHILD INTERACTIONS W/ FATHER ♡ eric is completely carefree with the child, but he's struggling to keep her attentive to him. she's a little weary of him after the first meeting, and his humorous tactics don't seem to work. the shy little girl doesn't always appreciate him suddenly tickling or throwing her. sometimes, if he gets lucky, she'll crack a smile, and maybe, just maybe, she'll giggle. but generally, eric is a little frustrated. he loves her to pieces but she doesn't seem to feel the same way. he shares the duties with elena of course, his favourite part being when he gets to feed her, though it can go one of two ways - either she'll eat, or sit reluctantly staring at his face or her baby spoon. when that happens, it's elena to the rescue!  

SCENE REQUESTS ♡ 
─ eric tries to feed sumin and she throws the food on him. elena laughs at him as they clean up. 
─ eric offers to clean up whilst elena takes sumin out. she takes her to the park and almost ends up losing her because she runs away. she gains a bit more love from sumin when she 'saves' her from a duck that was making noises at her. she buys her stawberry icecream to make her feel better. 
─ elena asks eric to take sumin to the mart, and eric loses her in the store. after a mild heart attack, he finds her by the fruit, and she asks him for some strawberries. not in the mood to argue, he agrees and finishes up so they can go home. 
─ family trip to an aquarium. sumin is a little dubious at first, but she starts to like it. elena helps her to reach the open-topped glass fish tank, so she can pet the starfish. 
─ once they get a bit closer, they go on a family picnic together. eric almost feeds her grapes, forgetting for a moment her allergies, but elena manages to swat it away. 
─ they take a family trip to a soft play area for sumin, but eventually realise it was a mistake. due to her being gullible, the other kids start picking on her. eric comes to the rescue and goes around the soft play area with her, because she doesn't want to leave. elena watches on happily, talking to the other mums there whilst the camera is on them. this begins the closer relationship between eric and sumin. 
─ eric asks elena if she wants to go to the movies with him. she agrees and they go see a horror movie. eric ends up more scared, since elena loves horrors. 
─ elena bakes cookies with sumin, then helps her to do a little bit of gardening. 
─ elena sees rome, and eric suddenly feels jealous, but when rome tries to coo over sumin, she rejects it, making eric feel a little better about things. 
─ sumin cries for hours because she misses her actual mom. elena and eric don't know what to do and become anxious, trying to calm her down. elena gets upset because she feels she's not doing a good enough job, but tries to not let eric see that. he sees her anyway, but doesn't say anything, since it was obvious she didn't want that.
