I like EXO... Maybe...

Okay, so I have one confession to make.

After watching numerous variety shows and interviews, I've come to realize that I like EXO. There is something about them that reminds me so much of Super Junior. Watchng them is like watching Super Junior during their rookie years and I like it.

I must state however that I happen to like the members I can't say for sure that I am an EXOTIC. I have nothing against the fandom and though many people may disagree with me (please forgive me) I'm not a fan of EXO's music to be honest. Sure their songs are catchy and I also like listening to MAMA and Wolf, but I can't say I'm really crazy about them. 

But... I do like them in variety and that they should do variety shows often. Currently, I have watched Weekly Idol and EXO Showtime and because of these shows I have come to like EXO. 

I even have biases in the group now. 1. Lay 2. Lu Han 3. Suho. 

Again I must state... though I like EXO I can't really call myself an EXOTIC. But maybe in the future I will be. No matter what however I will always be an ELF.

I have broaden my interest in Kpop and have opened up to diffent groups and music styles. Yet, I can't seem to find myself interested in girl groups. (Why? Why don't I like girl groups?) Hmmm...

 

Now I'm off topic here. I'd better end this quickly. 

In the end, I'm saying I like EXO now. I am open to getting used to their music and who knows I might actually love them in the future. 

I hope I don't offend anyone by this post. I just had to let it all out or else I'm about to go out of my mind. (hahaha)

Does anyone else feel this way?

I like them too but i can't call myself an exotic. I love growl and wolf and sing and dance it. My bias is Xiumin because he some how reminds me of my always number one bias Sungmin.

It's okay to like another group.. I like them and their music too, and they remind me about sj too.. but i don't call myself an exotic.. I'm little afraid with their fans *sorry*, sasaeng fans.. They seems like out of control.. And I don't want become like that.. *no offense*

There's nothing wrong liking them.. I like them too.. My biases are LuHan, XiuMin and Lay.. ^^ But I'm also not an exotic.. ^^
I like all the members though I have my biases.. I had fun watching them doing variety shows, they suit those kind of shows.. As for the music, I often listen to Growl and Mama.. Hehehe..
Though I like the group, no offense, I'm a bit off with the fandom.. I know not all fans in the fandom are like those I totally dislike but I'm hesitant about it..

anyways, I love them of course (I like their other songs, ex Dont go, Let out the beast, Baby dont cry, what is love, xoxo) Id stop! lol I have actually listened to all of their songs... T.T

You're own opinion is what makes it worthwhile. I'm not the biggest fan of Suju (no offense). Kangin is my bias haha and I still listen to them every now and then haha. I'm not really an EXOtic either but I just love EXO (because sasaeng are creeps and some of their fans are pretty scary.) Regardless, I'm just a big fan. I personally like the other songs from the albums (I mean Wolf and Mama are good and all) since they tend to have variety of genre.
EXO has that type of raw talent that you can't help but Love lol. It doesn't matter if you're a fan or not, if you appreciate good music and like the artists that performs them, then it's all good :)

I like some of EXO's music, and find them adorable on variety shows. (If I had a bias, it would be D.O.) But I will never be an "EXOtic" per se. Part of that is definitely because of the bad reputation their fans have for being disrespectful to other fandoms and groups. But because I'm aware that the members can't control how their fans act, I try not to let that affect my opinion of them. Still, I don't think I will ever like EXO as much as I love SuJu or DBSK...or even Shinhwa.

I completely understand what you mean about girl groups. I've seen a few interviews that make me fond of f(x), particularly Amber and Luna. And I will listen to SNSD or 2NE1 if they come on my Pandora station, but I have a hard time making myself care about them.

I know some people feel differently, but I don't mind being just a casual fan of most groups, including EXO.

i feel the same way too... i like them esp. tao and lay but i can't say that i love them like how much i love suju...:D

I feel the same, somehow. I really like their music, but for me I can't say that I like them, as a group, as much as I love Super Junior. I know they're not exactly new or anything, but I love them all the same. They're just so kind and they're one of the most genuine people out there, and I guess it's for this same reason that their fans love them up 'til now. I hope no one misunderstands me, I really like EXO's music, and I really like certain individuals in the group based on their personalities (Chanyeol, Sehun, Kai and Kris ftw), but I dunno. I guess I can't say I really, genuinely like everyone else as individuals. I'm a huge fan of their music, and of other groups who are just as good (K-Pop in general), but I stick by certain groups because of how they are as people.
