Style: Evelyn doesn't really have a name or a particular 'label' for her fashion sense, it always seems to simply be things that come together on the day. Her clothes will depend on her mood. If she wakes up in a relatively happy mood, she will not hesitate to wake spend time on choosing her clothes, which then usually consists of blouses or shirts with skirts or dresses, matched with small heels and desired accessories. If her mood is so-so, it will be an oversized cardigan or sweater with either pastel coloured jeans or leggins. Finally, if she's feeling downright abysmal, she'll wear something lazy, like a hoodie and leggins. In the cold weather, her big warm coats with fur lined hoods are like heaven. Her hair will usually match whatever style she has chosen. She has a silver heart locket necklace that she always wears, as it is a prized possesion and relatively old. In essence, her style can be anything it wants to be.

Lifestyle: Evelyn spends most of her time by herself, reading books in the library or up in her favourite tree. She is forever appearing with new books, and if she's not doing that, she'll be doing something brief with Nuri, if Nuri isn't hanging out with her boyfriend, but Evelyn doesn't mind either way as she likes to hang around by herself.

Personality: Despite her smiling exterior, Evelyn has never particularly been the social type. As of lately, her personality dipped to being rather low. She's a socially awkward girl who lets her silence get the best of her. Even when she's in a situation where saying something would do no harm or even help her, she still finds it hard to have her opinion voiced. The main reason? She's afraid of being wrong, and consequently judged by her peers. Hence, she never raises her hand in class despite the fact she is an intelligent girl who knows what she's doing.
Whilst she may not particularly be a social butterfly, Evelyn is still a kind-hearted young lady, who will try to be friendly towards those who attempt to get to know her. Behind that fresh faced beauty is the soul of an introverted child who never grew up.
Evelyn has the heart and soul of a literary author. She loves to just sit around either daydreaming of new ideas or reading a nice long book. She prefers her solitude over anything else. Her biggest dream is to become a published novelist. Her books take her away from the strain of the real world. She is one of those kinds of people who can, in solitude, become immersed into the story. Because she speaks English, her range in books is also broader, much to her delight.
She's very paranoid about people's opinion of her, particularly her crush. Whilst she obviously will not approach him, she wants to have some part of her that he will notice. She has a constant belief that her peers are saying bad things about her, and is sometimes finding herself thinking that even her best friend doesn't really like her, and is only being sympathetic. These thoughts always seem to come and go, so Evelyn counts herself lucky it isn't a totally permanent thing.
Evelyn is a very hard worker. She's never one to leave an assignment until the last minute, and always hands everything in on time. She makes sure her work is to the utmost of standards, and finds herself in a bind if there is the odd occasion in which she cannot get her work done. She's very positive and active towards her school career.

♚The Woman of Past
Background: Evelyn's past life isn't something she is particularly happy to talk about. As with many introverted, socially inept people, the root cause is from a past event. With Evelyn, that couldn't be any more true. Evelyn was born into a middle-class family in Perth, Australia, that were barely supporting themselves. Her Korean mother was only 19 at the time and her Australian father was a 26 year old man with commitment issues. He just couldn't be tied down. They struggled with supporting themselves after her birth, but they managed, since her father had a relatively decent job at the time, working for a local newspaper. The job wasn't fantastic pay, but it was enough. But as the years went by and Evelyn grew up, things took a nosedive for the inevitable worst.
When Evelyn reached the age of which she was to start school, they could only just afford to pay the fees to let her go. Evelyn was thrilled to be able to start school, perhaps it was just the pleasure of being able to get out of the house for even a few hours a day. She made some friends in her school in Australia, but she found herself unable to approach them. They would have to approach her first and talk to her. She spent some time in Australia, growing up a happy, bubbly little girl despite her social difficulties. However behind closed doors, her parents were suffering more than she ever could have guessed. When Evelyn reached the age of 13, things changed for her for the last time.
Not too long after her 13th birthday, Evelyn was sat in school, she was called out of class. There, she found her aunt, her mother's sister, stood waiting for her outside the office. She was taken from the premises without explanation, and taken to her aunt's house, where her things were packed into suitcases, though there hadn't really been much. She was taken to Korea with her aunt and uncle and two cousins, where she became a part of their family. It wasn't until she was fifteen that she was actually told the reason they had moved so abruptly.
On the morning of the day Evelyn was taken from school, her mother had commited suicide in the bathroom, having been unable to keep up with paying for Evelyn' school fees. Her father was nowhere to be seen. Presumably, he had fled upon finding out,. Evelyn became somewhat depressed having learned the truth and went through a stage of self harming, but was able to stop with the help of her loving cousins. This sparked the real social issues she was soon to find herself with, as well as trust issues. She thought it was her own fault, since it was her that her mother was trying to support. The trust she had in her father broke any strong chance she had at really trusting another male again, besides her uncle. Her social issues were caused by the fact that she felt if she were as close to another person as she was to her mother, she would hurt them too and bring them trouble, hence the reason she watches her beloved crush from afar.
Briefly, there was a point in her life in which she tried to break away from that. When she was seventeen, just last year, she dated someone. It lasted for a very short time. The boy was arrogant, narcisstic and deceitful, whilst Evelyn was naive and innocent. He played her and used her. This short event sent her receeding back into the life of an introvert, and since then, she's always been this way.

Uncle ♚ Lee Jungseo ♚ friendly, pleasant-mannered and witty ♚ alive ♚ As with Soonyeon, Jungseo takes care of Evelyn as he does his own daughters. He's always trying to make her laugh when he see's her in one of her downs.
Cousin ♚ Lee Rina ♚ sweet, loveable and mature ♚ alive ♚ Rina cares devotedly for her younger cousin, and always treats her like she's just her sister, rather than cousins. They have a close bond because Rina cared for her the most during her period of self harm.
Cousin ♚ Lee Hana ♚ playful, innocent and child-like ♚ alive ♚ She is Rina's twin, but isn't so good at giving advice on what Rina did, but she was still able to give advice on other things, like fashion, to keep them close.

Zara Anderson ♚ unusual, silly and fun ♚ alive ♚ Zara is the only friend of Evelyn's from Australia who bothered to get in touch with her again. They keep in contact through email and Skype calls, as Evelyn isn't one for using social networks like Facebook or Twitter.

Personality: Jongin comes across as your average character, almost like he was dragged straight out of a manga book or an anime. He's plainly arrogant to the majority of people, besides his best friends and the swarm of ladies that follow him wherever he may go. However, Evelyn has often noticed that his arrogance seems rather forced and fake, which, in essence, it actually is.
Jongin appears to be a selfish young man, since he is rarely ever seen doing things for anyone else. The only times he ever seems to do so is when he hands in essays or any kind of work for his major, and even still that isn't counted. When it comes to his parents however, he's a lot more cooperative.
Jongin is a diligent little worker, much like Evelyn, and hates when something isn't right. He hates it when his grades are bad or if a score on something is particularly low and will always strive to do the best that he can, even if that means spending hours correcting things, adding things or in rare circumstances, completely rewriting. He's very dedicated to his major and he wants to pursue it in further life.
He has a conceited nature about him that makes some people irritated very easily. Usually, it's him being overly proud of his own achievements, in both life and in his school career. He also tends to brag about his popularity to his friends, but they know that it's only a façade.
Background: Jongin's background shares some similarities to Evelyn's, in that they both experienced parent-related trauma. He was born in the same year for a start, 1995, though his birth was some months earlier, January 14th. His family were relatively well-off, and were happy. Jongin was a healthy baby boy with a smile that could light up the room, though not everything stayed as perfect as it was. When Jongin was just eight years old, his parents started losing money fast, because his father had become addicted to gambling. His mother grew depressed over the loss of money and started drinking.
Because of their erratic behaviour, Jongin found himself rarely in the company of either of his parents, and was usually with his grandmother for the days he wasn't in school and after school too. However, there was one day in which Jongin had to go back to his mother and she, being drunk to a state of half-consciousness, abused him. His grandmother made sure he would never see them again.
After that, Jongin spent the rest of his days with his grandmother. In attempt to overcome what had happened to him in the past, Jongin developed a façade of the arrogant boy that pissed everyone off, but given his flowerboy appearance, it didn't work to his total advantage. His childhood left him with severe trust issues, so his little arrogant persona was just a way off keeping people back, though some parts have become almost real, but mainly for the reason he feels like he's the only one to have experienced such things.
Meeting: Jongin and Evelyn first met for a brief few moments when they bumped into each other in the library. Evelyn had her head in a book and accidentally ended up walking straight into him. Evelyn was nervous, expecting him to be rather annoyed, but he simply picked up his books that he had dropped, silently handed Evelyn the book she had also dropped, and walked away. Evelyn knew from that moment that there wasn't something entirely ordinary about him.
Interaction: They are still practically strangers, but Jongin has often noticed Evelyn taking glances at him during school time. She's one of the few girls who hasn't fallen for his facade, and so she somewhat intrigues Jongin. However he doesn't feel like he can approach her. As for Evelyn, she suspects something about Jongin that none of the other girls are smart enough to notice. She sees that his negative aspects seem forced and she knows there is something unsual, which is the reason why she watches from afar - she truly believes she cannot approach him, not ever, but still she finds herself watching him day by day, as she really thinks there is something else under his exterior.

Questions/Comments/Suggestions: First, let me say how I much I love this idea for a story and how much I love the layout! So pretty *^* Anyway, I really hope you like Evelyn. I apologise if both her and Jongin's backgrounds are a bit abysmal and depressing but since she's an unsociable human being that cannot socialise to save her life, I figured she should have something serious in her backstory that caused it. Same with Jongin, I was hoping a little twist on his character might be acceptable? Well, I hope you think she's okay. Hwaiting! ^w^
