personality: Eunyoung, or Evelyn as she often does go by, is someone who rarely finds herself excessively worrying over trivial things. People who have known Eunyoung have known how laidback and carefree her approach towards life is, however daunting a task put in her way just might be. Eunyoung always says that 'a carefree life is an easier, less painful life', but there are still times when she struggles and simply cannot be carefree about things. This is because of the paranoia she developed over the years of attending middle and high school in Australia. Because of her asian roots and appearance, she was often bullied, so as a result, she developed a kind of paranoia that made her wonder about every single person, whether they actually liked her or not, if they were pretending, if they were talking about her at that moment or whenever she wasn't there. It's something that quite often will take over her mind and leave her zoned out for a while. When she's in one of those phases, she takes some time to get out again. Aside from that, she's still a bright, bubbly kid with a smart, mature head on her shoulders and her more recently found carefree approach helps her to (usually) take things like that on the nose and brush it away. She's usually a very calm, serene person, but if you take food or candy from her, she wont hesitate to kick your and take it back. She's a diligent worker, meaning she's very determined about getting the things that she wants, even if she has to work day and night for it, which quite often she has. Her diligence is something her friends in Australia admired quite a lot, because they never felt they could put in quite the same amount of effort into getting what they want as Eunyoung does.

Everyone who ever knew Eunyoung will tell you that they never saw a negative side to her. Whilst of course she finds negative things about herself, nobody else around her noticed the negative on the inside and always found her to be quite optimistic about everything and anything. She always has a kind attitude towards different people and never considers anyone to be an 'outsider' or something they aren't because of something like race, because it happened to her. She treats people with the utmost respect, and even if sometimes she comes across as a little introverted, she will always be willing to be a friend to anyone who needs one. Eunyoung likes to keep everyone else feeling positive. One of Eunyoung's only problems she worries about is her being an insomniac. It's not something she enjoys of course, but it came about during the time when she was bullied, and when she had exams. She has a terrible habit of losing a natural sleeping pattern through being kept awake, either by thinking or, in the case of exams, studying. This lead to a bad sleeping pattern being her natural one, so she will often be found sleeping around in various places. She doesn't get a lot of sleep at night, which she thinks also makes her a nightowl, and instead plays on her laptop or phone until she can force herself to sleep.

background: Eunyoung was born on May 21st 1993 to her Australian-born mother Layla Ryan (Lee) and her Korean father, Lee Jongsun, in Perth, Australia. She was a happy baby, with big eyes and a matching smile. Her father insisted on giving her a Korean name, whilst her mother wanted an English(Australian) name, so they decided on both; Evelyn Lee Eunyoung. She grew up on her father's wisdom and her mother's wonderful homemade cooking, learning a lot about the Australian way of life, not that she would have known any different. When she was five, her mother fell pregnant again, with what they eventually found to be another baby girl. However this child's arrival didn't last as long as they would have hoped. Baby Sophia Lee Sunyoung lived only for a few months, but it was long enough for Eunyoung, who had now seen her mother cry, to realise that life was in no way perfect.

Eunyoung started school a relatively happy child. Her primary school days were fun and happy as she made a lot of new friends who liked the fact that she was of double ethnicity, but there were some nasty little children who thought it would be fun to make fun of her for it. However Eunyoung rarely noticed it until high school. She had an undeniable love for the piano, and had begged her parents to pay for lessons, of which she attended every week. She had a natural talent for the piano it seemed, however her ethnicity seemed to provoke a problem which became more evident in high school. The kids were older, meaning they were more vicious, more careless and more verbally sound. They were the main cause of Eunyoung's period of self harming, but as she grew ever older, she developed a taste for singing, which she found she had a knack in as well as her piano. She added singing lessons to her week and improved with time, learning old songs from her mother around the house, as well as old Korean songs and lullabies from her father. It wasn't until she was fifteen that the friends she had introduced her to Korean pop music. She had heard a few things prior but they introduced her to it fully. Now, her current favourite boyband is VIXX and her favourite girlband is SPICA. Eunyoung fell in love with the genre, and her friends, having heard her sing, told her she should audition to be a part of the K-pop industry. Eunyoung loved the idea and with her friends and family backing her up, the worries of bullying fell away and a new Eunyoung was born.

Almost as if they knew, her mother and father made a plan to move them back to South Korea. Eunyoung was hurt that she had to leave behind her wonderful friends, but she knew they would always be supporting her. When she got back to Korea, she immediately began preparation for her audition. She missed her sixteenth birthday on account of their flight being delayed and running into the day. Since then she trained herself day and night, attending more vocal and dance lessons to improve her quality. Her mother and father were always a willing audience whenever Eunyoung asked to do a practice performance, however the lessons became gradually less as her family began to experience a shortage of money, due to her father's business having money troubles. Thankfully, Jongsun's mother was willing to loan them the money they needed to put Eunyoung back in school, but she was willing to give up the lessons and train on her own. Her audition for SM Entertainment went quite well, and she ended up becoming a trainee almost right away. She found herself seeing less of her parents, but they always told her that once she made it, as they knew she would, they would be right there supporting her.

style: Eunyoung can never really come up with a particular name for the style of clothing she wears on a day-to-day basis. If she had to tag it as something from the modern day, it would be 'hipster' or 'grunge'. She loves dark denim clothes, particularly shorts if they're matched with warm black tights. She wears either long-ish designed blouses or printed shirts with cargidans or jackets and if she's having a bad hair day or just wearing it down, her life saving accessory is a black beanie, or any colour, as she owns quite a few. When it comes to formal clothes, she doesn't particularly favour girly things. Her formal style is quite a casual one too, but she does have the odd typically fashionable dress. Everything else are just things she will throw together from what's in her drawers.

onstage behaviour: Onstage, Eunyoung gives her all, and tries to be as confident as she can. She has a tiny little bit of stagefright, as the crowds of hundreds makes her catch her breath. trainee life: Eunyoung had a relatively normal trainee life. She made friends with quite a few other trainees, including a few members of EXO, whom she is still close with now, and supports as an EXOtic. She never found herself being bullied but she often stuck up for anyone who she saw that was. She became a friend to everyone and even if she wasn't the eldest, treated everyone with motherly love.

Hongbin: Hongbin is a severely innocent, charming human being who is rarely ever seen without a bright smile upon his beautiful face. He always likes to make others smile and doesn't like when people are down in his presence, so he always does his best to cheer them up. He's very caring towards everyone, includiing his fans, but particularly towards Eunyoung, whom he treats with the utmost respect, as she does with him.

Generally, he is a respectful person anyway, however in a situation where respect or manners are not required, he can be a little crazy and hyperactive, which can either be good or bad for Eunyoung. He often has his moments of jealous towards the likes of Jongin and Moonkyu, but because of her ability to easily prove otherwise, it doesn't last very long. He is a very faithful boy, despite the fact that he hasn't made a move towards her yet, and is also a wonderful friend and a shoulder to cry on for anyone. His ideal date is a trip to the aquarium, but just sitting under warm blankets with snacks and a movie will do him just as well.

Leo: Leo is a very introverted, quiet person. People often mistake him for being cold and unassertive, but he really is just an introverted guy. Despite that, Eunyoung has managed to bring out the life from within his heart. When he's not with Eunyoung, he is his usual self. He acts very shy in front of the camera and in front of a lot of fans, and in front of his group mates, he will be violent to them because they try and make him do aegyo. When he is with Eunyoung, his personality changes somewhat. Whilst he is still relatively introverted, he tries his very best to be not so when around her. He becomes a more upbeat person and he is quite the charmer. He's a romantic soul at heart and always gives his all.

Much like Eunyoung, Leo is also a very diligent person towards his idol career. Because of his introvert personality, Leo has to try that little bit harder to be able to do things like aegyo with his bandmates, but there are always the odd moments when he cracks and smiles for the camera, making his fangirls die just that little bit. Despite the fact Eunyoung brings out more of a social side of Leo, he's still quite shy towards her and he could never bring himself to make a move. His weaknesses are children, cute animals and food.

story: When both their father's were young, and Eunyoung's still lived in Korea before moving to Australia for studies, they were best friends. When they decided to move back to Korea, Hongbin/Leo's father found out, and immediately called for a reunion, in which their children would get to meet each other. Eunyoung hit it off with Hongbin/Leo, despite the aspects of their personalities that contrasted, and became close friends after the reunion, staying that way until the boys of VIXX debuted. The fact that they were trainees also made Eunyoung that much more desperate to make it into the K-pop world.
