Personality:
Lee Jaeyoon is a very open-minded person. She always looks at every side to every argument, and she is always willing to try new things and experience different cultures. She's not afraid to try something out or change things up a bit, which has lead her to take some choices that other people have varied opinions on, such as getting her tattoos. She always knew there were people who wouldn't approve of what she did to her body, but being the type of girl she is, she would never stand up to people. Jaeyoon is very reserved too. Whilst she may not necessarily be quiet, she doesn't like to tell people about what goes on at home. She's afraid of being judged by others, and often finds herself being quite enigmatic and distant to others who try to get close to her in that way. Despite that, she's still a bright and bubbly girl who is always up for doing something fun and exciting if she can, and knows when enough is enough, and how to behave modestly. Jaeyoon is very intelligentand and is a very passionate person. Overall, Jaeyoon's personality is a muddle of things. Background:
Jaeyoon was born to Jessica King and Hyunjin Lee, a couple who, once over, loved each other more than anything in the world. Jaeyoon was born as a twin and it the 17 minutes older than her sister Lee Jaehyun. The two were born in a hospital in London, as Hyunjin was living in the UK and had moved there for educational purposes many years ago. Jaeyoon and Jaehyun grew up together in a peaceful area, where nothing ever seemed to go wrong, until they started school together. Jaeyoon was always the fashion-forward one, which left Jaehyun to get picked on by others, though back then, Jaeyoon had more of a backbone, and always stood up for her sister, but it always brought pain. This is what caused Jaeyoon's lack of a backbone now. She always related having the strength to do something with getting hurt, so she couldn't continue. One day they were walking to the bus stop to go home and one of the more hateful bullies came along and started shoving Jaehyun, so hard she fell into the road and was hit by an oncoming truck at full speed. She passed on two days after. To make matters worse, their father Hyunjin had been caught cheating and had walked out on them. After this, Jaeyoon and Jaemin moved to Seoul in order to find peace. They stayed with Hyunjin’s parents, who never liked their son since he was foul toward them, and were devastated over Jaehyun. They lived a happy enough life there as they tried to move on from it all, and Jaeyoon attended school, where she met her best friend, Kim Hyoseok. The two hit it off quite well, and were practically inseparable, but Jaeyoon never told Hyoseok anything about what happened with her sister or her father. Hyoseok visited her house many times, and became well acquainted with Jessica and her grandparents, and was eventually a welcomed guest in the Lee household. Jaeyoon felt quite happy about things now. She had a new bestfriend; she had her mother and her grandparents, and a roof over her head. Things seemed to be looking up for the Lee's.
Just when things looked the best for the Lee's, Jessica began to fall ill. Knowing how happy Jaeyoon was with her new life, she tried as best as she could to keep
it from her. Jessica battled with Lung Cancer for five whole months, trying to hold on and keep fighting for Jaeyoon's sake. Sadly however, she passed away
after those five months and lost the battle. Jaeyoon only found out through a letter, which she barely managed to read without ruining with her tears. It took
Jaeyoon a while to recover from the loss, but her grandparents helped her through it, and thinking it might help, bought her a puppy. It was a chow chow
puppy, and Jaeyoon named him Bae. For the next few years of her life, Jaeyoon lived with her grandparents in Seoul. Throughout her life, she had constantly
practiced singing and dancing. Jessica had loved to hear her sing, so she would always sing lullabies for her mother. She auditioned for YG Entertainment with
average hope at age 17, failing sadly, but she kept up hope. Whilst she was waiting to prepare for another YG audition, she had her tattoos
done. The both of them were for her mother, to 'believe' that she was at peace now, and that she was happy. Hyoseok found out about everything, and remains
asthe only person who knows every little thing about Jaeyoon and what happened in her life, but then she was signed with Starkim Entertainment before
Jaeyoonwas accepted into YG, so their time to see each other became limited, but Hyoseok was able to pull out between a few schedules to meet his best
friend. Having failed again at the second audition she did, Jaeyoon tried again the next year when she was 18, and made it into YG Entertainment as a trainee.
She moved outof her grandparents' place, bought a flat in Busan with the money she had saved by her grandparents over the years, and pursued her career as
a trainee.

How You Met?
Jay met Hanbyul after she first became interested in LEDApple. She got tickets to go see one of their live shows, and was lucky enough to have backstage passes. She was able to talk to Hanbyul through Hyoseok, speaking with him in a fluent English conversation. Hyoseok told him she was currently a YG trainee. After that, Hanbyul insisted they keep in touch, and she was to let him know when she was debuting. They became friends thanks to Hyoseok and shortly after, Jay developed her crush on Hanbyul.
Relationship towards each other.
Hanbyul was always supporting Jay in her trainee days after she met him, and they generally get along well. They've never had arguments before, but Jay put that down to them not actually being close enough yet to have arguments. Jay enjoys seeing Hanbyul, for obvious reasons, but she wishes they could at least be closer friends. She feels he only sees her as a hoobae, and nothing more. Hanbyul thinks he feels something toward Jay, but he's not sure what exactly.

How did she get into YG Entertainment?
Jay discovered YG was a good choice for her if she were to make it big in the industry. She auditioned for YG when she was 17, but failed. She auditioned once more at age 17 and still failed. Without losing hope, she auditoned again the next year aged 18 and was finally accepted as a trainee.

Jay was a very quiet individual whilst training. She would only talk when necessary to start with, but she warmed up to the other trainees and was able to get along with them nicely. She was never bullied by any other trainees, and had a fun time being a trainee herself, enjoying the times she spent with other trainees.
