personal style: iseok doesn't have a set in stone style, he just where's whatever he feels like wearing that day. although when he goes shopping, he often picks out something that's stylish and fun, but not too out there. he likes keeping things simple, his closet mostly consisting of jeans and sweaters, maybe a dress shirt or two thrown in there. he doesn't usually accessorize, the only accessories he wears is the scapular necklace his grandmother gave him and jade bracelet his father gave him.
background: iseok was born and raised in bucheon with his father and mother. they weren't very rich, but they weren't very poor. they were very well off considering his mother was a lawyer and his father worked at a daycare. being an only child, he's used to having the attention on him. but not all the attention he had was good. his father loved iseok very much and they were extremely close with each other but with his mother it was a whole different story. to his mother; iseok was just an accident child, she never had any intentions of getting pregnant and having a child at 20. she didn't approve of anything he did so when he revealed that his dream was to become a singer, it striked up an argument between his parents. of course his father was all for it but his mother didn't want him pursuing such a pathetic career. their argument lasted months, until his father had enough of it. when iseok was 14, his parents split up and he and his father moved in with his grandmother in seoul. still, iseok doesn't understand why his mother resents him so much when he hasn't said a single bad thing about her. once they got settled in seoul, iseok's life slowly got better. he enrolled in a performing arts school and all his teachers told him that the chances of him becoming famous were high. because his dream of becoming a singer was so strong, he made it his goal to become an idol to repay his father and grandmother all they gave him.
personality: iseok is the new born puppy you just want to protect from the world. he gives off a childish aura, constantly biting his lip and looking like he's lost. little things amaze him to no end, like icing with glitter in it or the socks with toes, although those creep him out. he takes interest into simple things, not liking when things are too over the top. he doesn't like to use aegyo because people see him as a child, but the rare times where he does use it is when he wants something or when he's trying to get out of doing work. iseok tends to be lazy, not liking the thought of doing housework. although, he'd rather clean the house than take out garbage or do yard work. he has a weakness for small children and says that he can relate to them well. he's fairly playful with the people that he's comfortable around, always making the mood bright and cheerful by cracking lame jokes or making a couple ugly faces. he isn't afraid of making a fool out of himself as long as it gets a smile out of someone. some say iseok's smile is contagious, which makes him want to smile more. it's a rarity not to see him with a smile on his face, even when he's angry. he tends to bottle up his feelings, not wanting to be a burden to s by dumping his problems on them. but on the days where he can't take it anymore, he'll blow up with all sorts of emotions, trying to say everything at once and bringing up grudges from three months ago, finally getting everything off his chest. after having one of his childish tantrums, he'll often ask for a hug from someone. he enjoys doing skinship with people, only when he initiates it. under a stranger's touch, iseok can freeze up. meeting new people isn't his forte and he's painstakingly around strangers.
once he becomes close with someone, he has a tendency to cling to their arm when he's around strangers. his voice is naturally soft, making whatever he says melodious and gentle. he's easy to get along with, although he isn't a social butterfly. if he likes you, then he likes you. simple as that. he doesn't argue with people, and has a habit of saying 'sorry' all the time even if it wasn't even his fault. he hates confrontation and will do his best not to get involved. iseok can get pretty unreasonable when he doesn't get what he wants. he can be stubborn and when he puts his mind to something, he won't let anything stop him from doing it. if something doesn't go his way, he'll mope around and cling to people until someone gives in and gets him what he wants. he's extremely opinionated; once he has made a decision about something he will rarely change his mind without good reasoning. he doesn't enjoy change and likes it when things the way he's used to.

exo kung fu panda and rapper » huang zitao, 19, tao is usually quiet and gives off an 'i'll kill you if you even look at me, peasant' aura. but really, he's just a big kid. he likes doing aegyo and taking pictures of himself, having at least 3321 selcas on his phone. he's overprotective of the people he loves (and his gucci) and won't hesitate to wushu your when you hurt one of them., like with xiumin, tao called iseok 'oppa' one day while they were training even though he's younger than him. although iseok doesn't like talking to strangers, tao seemed different. so he cracked a joke to break the ice, asking if he looked older than him. then someway, somehow the two became best friend and practically inseperable.
exo leader and rapper » wu yifan, 22, to people he isn't familiar with, kris acts polite and is the perfect gentleman. but when you're close with him, you'd be stuck with his constant teasing, poking and skinship. although he looks mean with his constant face, he's just a big dork that has a weakness for aegyo and sometimes does it himself. like iseok, he can't express his feelings well and keeps them to himself. he has a with his alpaca ace and treats it as his son. iseok and kris met through tao. although, whenever they were in a room together, iseok would always be clinging onto tao. as time went by, they eventually got passed the awkwardness and came to be very close.

infinite vocal and choding » kim sungyeol, 21, sungyeol is random. he's a y choding and can make anyone smile with his randomness. he can go from being super y to being super derpy in a blink of an eye. he's friendly with everyone and is very playful., although iseok wasn't planning on becoming friends with someone as loud as sungyeol, it just sort of happened. sungyeol was the first person to get iseok to open up once he became a trainee at woollim and they're fairly close.
infinite rapper and dancer » jang dongwoo, 22, dongwoo is outgoing. not as much as sungyeol but a close second. he has a contagious laugh which is very adorable and can get anyone to laugh along with him. he's playful and likes playing pranks, which adds to his mischevious image. he can be serious when he wants to, but it's scary when he is. , iseok met dongwoo in the woollim canteen, when he accidently spilled his lunch on him. iseok was apologizing repeatedly while cleaning dongwoo up and was expecting the worse but suprisingly, dongwoo wasn't mad. which made iseok very curious in him because most people would blow up after getting fried eggs and rice getting dumped on them. they started hanging out more often and became good friends.

infinite visual and vocal » kim myungsoo, 20, almost everyone thinks myungsoo is gorgeous. [which he is, tbh.] he keeps up a cool front in front of people and has a temper that is difficult to control. once you get to know him better, he's very playful and somewhat of a derp. he's homophobic and hates it when people go against traditional beliefs., when iseok was still a trainee under woollim, he and myungsoo were the best of friends. until iseok started developing feelings for the other. when iseok finally got enough courage to confess, it made myungsoo think that iseok was the most disgustingest person on earth. myungsoo was so disgusted that he spread a rumor around, saying that iseok tried harassing him which ended up getting iseok kicked out of woollim.
trainee background: originally, iseok auditioned for woollim entertainment, becoming a trainee under them after his 2nd audition when he wsas 15. he was a hard worker and was friendly with everyone, especially the future members of infinite. once infinite debuted, iseok confessed his feelings to myungsoo, which resulted in him getting kicked out of woollim. after 6 auditions, iseok began training under sm entertainment, deciding to keep to himself and just focus on debuting.
