Family Background: Kyungwoo grew up with no women in the house, only him, his dad, and three older brothers. His mother left the family due to finding another lover when Kyungwoo was 2 so he barely remembers her. Besides that, Kyungwoo grew up in a very normal house. His brothers and father had well off jobs to keep a roof over their head and he got mostly whatever he wanted since he was the baby in the house. When Kyungwoo was 14, however, his aunt and uncle died in a car crash, causing his older cousin to live with him. Kikwang was exceptionally talented in dancing and always rubbed it in his face. Kyungwoo hated his cousin and always thought of him as a rival. When Kikwang debuted in Beast and moved out of the house to move into the dorm, it was the happiest day of Kyungwoo's life, besides his 18th birthday. To ce50 lebrate that, his brothers and father bought him a bottle of Soju and they drank the night away. Now it's a game played on the weekends in their household to try and see how many bottles they could drink.

Personality: Kyungwoo is an overconfident guy. He often comes off as arrogant and cocky - which he is, in a way. He believes he can do everything and will attempt to do the impossible. If you tell him he can't do something, he'll at least attempt to do it to show that it' s possible. He's pretty stubborn when it comes to people giving up and won't allow them to unless they try it at least once.

Kyungwoo is a pretty straight foreward guy. What you see is what you get with him. He doesn't keep any secrets and doesn't have a sense of shame or embarrasment. If he upsets someone, intentional or not, he won't feel bad or apologize because it'll hurt his exceptionally large ego and pride. If he does something stupid, wouldn't know why people are shaking their heads in embarrasment for him. He's often the one to break awkward silences and make them more awkwarder or say something sad to bring down a happy atmosphere. He doesn't have the talent to read the mood in a room, or to read a person. If you're looking for a person to vent your heart out to or just rant, Kyungwoo isn't your guy. He isn't good at soothing people, since he grew up in an environment where people didn't talk about their feelings, so don't expect to be cheered up by him.

It's really easy to get along with Kyungwoo and he isn't the type to be shy. He'll usually be the first person to make conversation with you, after all, he's more than happy to make new friends. If you say something that'll hurt his pride, prepare to meet his fist. His temper usually gets the better of him and sometimes he'll use his fists to fight, but most of the time he'll use his sharp tongue. Being the type that hates leaving things unsolved, Kyungwoo will be stubborn until the end and argue with you until you solve the issue or like most times, until he ends up being dragged away.

Although Kyungwoo isn't the sensitive type, he has a hitch in his voice that makes him sound like he's about to cry whenever he talks. He uses that to his advantage to get what he wants from his hyungs (and noonas) saying, "Hyungs don't love me anymore," with fake tears in his eyes and a greater hitch. His older brothers usually compliment him in his acting since they're so used to him saying that but always give in anyways because they can't deny their adorable dongsaeng.
