background: Autumn grew up in the middle of five children, and she never really had much time to be in the spotlight in her family. Her elder brothers were athletes, and her parents made sure to be at every single game. Her younger sisters were active in ballet and ice skating, and her parents never missed out on a performance. With five children who were all gifted at something, someone was bound to be forgotten. And that person was Autumn, receiving praises from the parents of her friends and peers at her piano recitals, dancing competitions, and singing competitions. It didn't help that her parents moved the whole family from Daegu to New York when she was 12 years old, having to leave behind dear friends and the same people she'd been growing up with her whole life. At first, she hated everything about New York and America, and she refused to learn English. Yet things changed when her mother asked her why she didn't sing and dance anymore and her father asked if she stopped liking music. "They notice me," was all Autumn could think, and she did her best to learn as much English as she could to be able to join singing and dancing competitions and make friends who were interested in the same things that she was. Middle school was a rough time because her English wasn't great, and though her parents did begin noticing her and coming to many of her performances, Autumn was now being forgotten at school. She didn't have many friends, and the ones she did have weren't around her often. She made a plan to change things in high school, and she certainly did. She joined several clubs and made sure to make plenty of friends, so she'd never have to feel so alone again. Music was always her release, always her freedom to run to whenever things got rough, and k-pop was one of her favorite genres. After stumbling across a certain k-pop chatroom, she managed to become a part of the k-pop world herself.
