appearance : much like his hair and tail, tenebris' eyes are as black as the depths of the lost ocean. his skin is a ghostly pale white and free from all blemishes; save for the sporadic outburst of black scales which seem to disperse from his hips up.

description : tenebris' personality is as dark as his tail. most of the time, he keeps things to himself, living in the farthest depths of the ocean by himself with only his spirit animal, nox, as his sole companion. he's not the friendliest one in the bunch but he's not at all evil.
despite the gloomy aura that seems to follow him around, tenebris does not believe in violence and instead wishes to stay as calm and serene as the ocean. this is his primary reason for being reclusive — to stay away from the violent world that seems to have polluted his once beautiful habitat.

it was a bright day and the sun's rays were beautifully peeking through the waters. those were the kinds of days liwanag especially loved. little did they know that this would also be the day that tenebris would dread as a spear pierced liwanag right through her torso and led to her eventuality. just as he was going to be pierced next, nox, a shark in passing, had saved tenebris and nudged him away from his death.

- he loves fooling around with stingrays, sea snakes, octopuses, swordfishes. his favorite would be pufferfishes — he thinks they're cute.
- tenebris has healing abilities. the only regret he has is not being able to resurrect the dead.

background : she died 398 years ago, when tenebris has just turned 19. her death has forced upon the cease of tenebris' aging and from then on, he has been perpetually 19. their love was as pure as the water that once flowed through the ocean. her deat has tainted it for tenebris forever.
meeting : their first meeting was as normal as it could possibly be: a merman who came across a beautiful mermaid and an instant spark has been made. they were to be wed once liwanag turned 18. sadly, she wasn't able to see the light of day before she reached 18.
