hyemin is indeed, one of the most loyal people you'll meet. wether its because of the way she was brought up or simply her nature, she never seems to turn her back on people. friend or foe, she supports them both when they need help. she could be offered to move to a school in england, but would stay because her friends didnt get the same offer. she usually bases her opinions and actions on whats better for others, not for herself. this can prove to be troublesome as she's often taking the blame for other peoples mistakes or staying at school a little longer to do someone else's chores.
+ 99% rain :
despite her loyalty and kindness, hyemin is strangely negative. the type of person that always sees her coffee cup half empty, and stares at it with worry. no matter which situation she's in, she often worries about it, without realising the good things. this means, that she is described as annoying at times, as she'll bring someone down without realising it. it may have been a stupid slip of her tongue. if her friend won 3rd place, and is celebrating, she might say 'its not 1st place though' just by accident. though her negatativity does seem to tone down people's over excitement and can be seen as her being realistic at times.

hyemin can give all the money she earns to a charity, except she can barely pay her rent with the money she makes. the girl is blindly kind, giving strangers hugs, directions and allowing them to use her phone. regardless to who it is, she always seems to give her friends and classmates a little more slack, happily helping them out. but her kindness can also come in the form of words, soft sentences of encouragement coated in sugar.

( 1999 - 2003 june 26th )
on a midsummer's evening, in the socal hospital of seoul, jeon hyemin was born. the first child of the jeon family, and dotted on constantly. she was born without any problems, to a loving mother and a childish father. as she grew older and older, it became apparent that she had an intrest for sports. she would often be taken to the locak swimming pool and park just to amuse the child. four years passed, and her mother was pregnant once again, this time with a baby boy. and in came her younger brother, jeon jeonji. around six months after the birth of her baby brother, her fathers cafe was shut down, a lack of income and staff. so in order to stablise the family, her mother began to go to work full time.

hyemin's mother didn't come home anymore, she worked full time, from morning to night. only ever phoning the family and sending letters every week with money and sweet words written on a piece of paper. her father was now home full time, taking care of them, occasionally he'd open his cafe up again, but only to close it again after two weeks of succsessful income. hyemin had become attached to studying, wanting to become someone who can support herself as she grew older. within the six years, she also became a lot more athletic. running marathons, racing with the kids at school. her brother was then 6, a little bit more annoying but overall very attached to his sister.

after working her off during middle school to ensure she never got scores below 95%, she had been offered a place at the academy she dreamed about. After turning sixteen, she moved into her own apartment, a five minute walk away from her parent's house. hyemin also began working part time, as a staff member in the local bookstore. often spending her free time looking for jobs that her father could do to earn some basic money. often hides from the cat lady ( aka the landlady ) upstairs that comes searching for the money every month.

HYEMIN did not at first want to become a honey, to help a rich kid graduate was not exactly even the soft hearted hyemin could fit into her life. but her way of thinking all changed once she heard the perks of being one. free tutoring meant she no longer needed to keep her part time job to pay for her fees, and also that she could spend more time finding her father a job. of course she wanted to become a honey now.

their first meeting is considered in two ways, hyemin believes they met for the first time when she was introduced as his honey. on a monday morning, foggy outside, and a grinning jongin inside the school gates waiting for her alongside a teacher. he chose her, not because she was remarkable at something, but simply because she seemed to be the most timid of all the potential honeys.
rather, jongin remembers a meeting that hyemin doesn't. a few months before, when her fathers shop had momentarily reopened, he had visited. inside he saw her father being dragged around by his daughter telling him what to do, and how to survive when she left. he found it amusing, and remembered the face and name that the man had called her by.
