+ are you adopted :
strangely enough, hwamin has always had a lighter eye and hair colour in comparison to other korean children. rather than jet black hair and dark brown eyes, as most are born with, for undetermined reasons- hwamin was born with abnormal hair and eye colours. though this did not at all effect her health, it did mean she was rubbish at blending in with the crowd, rather she stuck out like a sore thumb no matter how hard she tried. in the end, she developed a liking for her hair colour and refused to dye it black.

+ SCARS AND MORE :
HWAMIN was indeed a lot taller than most girls her age, and stands at 176cm and weighs exactly 59kg. perhaps it was because her father was quite bluntly a giant in comparison to height, that she ended up towering over kyungsoo despite being the female. she has clear skin, as in no tattoos or scars, expect for one that faintly runs along her hip- a result of her running away from the neighbourhood dogs.

fashion sense.
 IM VERY COMFORTABLE :
HWAMIN will wear anything and everything, as long as it's comfortable. be it a green sweater that makes her look like a freak or a bathrobe, as long as its comfortable, she has no limits to what she'll put on. though she usually wears grey, white and black coloured clothing when she has a choice, as they are her favourite colour. she also has a for bathrobes and sweatpants.

suit up boy :
if there is anything hwamin hates its putting on heels and a skimpy dress, although there is nothing to complain about considering her figure, she sure as hell doesn't want to be any taller. so even in a formal party, she's often spotted with a simple grey or black dress with flats. 

WORK WORK WORK :
her clothing for work doesn't get any simpler, black ripped jeans, a black sweater and a black rimmed hat. despite warnings, hwamin doesn't actually attempt to cover her face, so is forced by kyungsoo to wear a black cat mask along with her clothes.

personality. 
99% RAIN :
it's pretty accurate to say  that hwamin is along the lines of a sadist, because she sure as hell isn't an angel. she is in fact, despite her looks, someone who wouldn't mind bathing in blood if she had to. you can even say she actually adores killing people, though she does defend herself saying its the way the world works. hwamin is someone who can make you run away as soon as she glares at you, and is often chasing after people.

so even though she's a scary sadist that enjoys what she does, she is extremly childish. stupid fights, playful nudges and games of hide and seek are her calling in life. even with this, she is strangely sensitive and will take almost everything offensive, which means she's often dragging kyungsoo or yangnam into a dark room to grumble to them while they comfort her. her sensitivity can often cause large fueds between her and some of the members, and hwamins pride doesn't help making the situation even more complicated. 

1% sunshine :
although no one has ever called her disloyal, yes she may end up scaring the life out of people from time to time, she is a loyal person. someone who will stand by your side, even if a better offer comes along. along with her loyal nature she seems to be natrually protective over people she knows, and will often tower over females who attempt to hit on them- which does scare them off most of the time. there are times when you can manage to make her soften a bit, that she'll hug you and tell you everything will be alright. some people call this her kind side, but she's always looking out for her friends from a distance- even if its not in the nicest way possible.

hwamin is the type of person that does enjoy compliments, but will often not show that she likes it with her words. you could call her cute and she'd be grinning like a fool and fidgiting while saying "shut up you stupid bastard." her body actions give away what wont, she also has a towering wall of pride- she will quite literally hit anyone who defys her. expect maybe yangnam, but thats her own fear.

background. 
hwamin's family were never considered rich, neither were they middle class. because of the lack of money and the jobs being swept away by more educated parents, her mother and father riskily took a loan from a rich man. they bought a house in the outskirts of a forest river, a small cabin like place, and they delievered their first child into the world. for the staring phase of her life she was always normal, but something small seemed to shift- something out of the oridinary.

it started when she was 5, insect dissections, dragging animals inside the forest to disect them- her family pet included. her parents didn't worry about her, she was far smarter than other kids, and knew her way around human minds like the back of her hand. they thought she was simply doing what kids do when they discover something. it got worse, the animals kept getting bigger, sticks turned into murder weapons before being replaced by her dads pocket knife.

but when one day, in late june, when she was 13, the loan sharks came. the loans they had taken out were overdue by three years. so they did what was natrual, they killed the man. her mother was the second one to be attacked, though she put up a fight- throwing a vase at one of the two men, and killing him. she was brutally cornered into the kitchen by the last of the pair, and was screaming fight.

"if you dont fight, you can't win. you need to win to live,"
when those words rang through her head, something changed, her old self switched off. and a new theory approched, this world was cruel, it always was- she was simply ignoring everything and pretending blood did not spill in this world. so she grabbed the kitchen knife that had been dropped, and killed the man, she knew where to targer- the dissections helped. the back of the neck, sadly her mother had already died by the time she had finished the act, but a sense of excitment wavered through her body. not long after, the police arrived, and hwamin was trailed for the murder of a man, but let off saying it was 'self-defense'. 

after that, she was carelessly thrown from foster parent to poster parent, until she turned 15, and decided to live by herself instead. in a small appartment in the corner of the city, it wasnt until a month after that she met the gang. it was a simple meeting, in which a boy a little older and shorter then her walked up to her and grabbed her hands

"come live with us".

 

the good. friends  | do kyungsoo | kind, motherly, weak-willed | hwamin is more then protective over kyungsoo, and sees him as a motherly figure, but also words as his guard- which dissapoints sehun as she's his dog.

friends-somewhat | kim jongin | cruel, warmhearted |jongin to her is somewhat a friend, they've had a few flings here and there, pretty kisses and hair pulling moments, but they remain somewhat friends through it all

the bad.  the person she hates | oh sehun | rude full stop | sehun is intent on making hwamin his guard dog because of her violent nature, and often calls her by the name of 'puppy' or 'dog' despite her protests he has once managed to put a collar on her, only to go home with a nosebleed. somewhat a one sided hatred.

the person that scares her | kim yangnam | antisocial | hwamin is scared of only one thing, and thats yangnam, she often ends up hiding behind jongin or sehun (even though she dislikes him) to run away from yangnam. reason of hatred is apparently because he is scary. the main reason for this being, that yangnam to her reminds her of her family pet that she once dissected, and thus believes that its her test subject coming back to haunt her. this along with her apparent love for violence, was quite enough to make her cower in fear.

jongin is cynical, thats for sure, he sends shivers of fear down any mans spine. but hwamin isn't a man now is she, instead she finds him rather warmhearted and kind. despite his actions of violence, its clear that he does in fact care deeply for the safety of everyone in the gang.

interactions. 
jongin and hwamin get along well, and are often seen together, at least when she's not following kyungsoo around. its known they've had a fling a few times before, hair pulling, kisses and bite marks of dominance. they do this most of the time, and whenever hwamin feels like it, though she turns into a whimpering puppy when cornered under him. apart from that they act like they're the best of friends, playful nudges, teases and such.
