Ayaka is someone with ceaseless kindness, a simple sob story is enough to get her to cradle you in her arms and whisper loving words. Wether its protecting you from fights or simply supporting you, she resembles an over-protective mother in all ways. Possibly because she was one of the first survivors to be found, and a lot more of the suvivors are young- she took on the role of a mother figure quite literally. She watches whats she says and will cook you food at two in the morning if you tell her your hungry. The person to wait until you came back and cook you food, protesting that you weren't allowed to skip meals at all. Overall, she has an apparent attachment to all of the surviving people, old or young, she still demands to act as their guardian, a slightly childish and aggresive mother but still-

Ayaka was born on the seventh month of the year, and in the middle of late summer and early autumn, in Tokyo Japan. Her parents at the time were still in their last year of highschool, and to be frank she had been a mistake but nethertheless still loved and adored by her young parents. Soon after returning home from the hospital, she would dropped off at her grandparents often, as her parents both had finals to study for and schools to attend. That was the routine for the following years, to wake up, dress their child and drop her off at their parents house. Though a dull and bland childhood, it was one that she enjoyed, spending the week with her grandmother before returning home. They lived in a cheap apartment, and were supported finacially by their grandparents, yet still Ayaka wasn't someone who complained, she was someone who seemed perfectly fine with staying with people other than her parents and playing alone in the park outside as her parents slept.

It was clear that teaching a child how to use a knife wasn't sensible, however the people who taught her weren't exactly the brightest people. So since the, she had her pocket knife with her at all times, even after she graduated middle school. Slowly, she became used to the feeling a knife and often tried it out on meat that her parents bought to cook secretly.

Ayaka had been talking with her previous middle school friends on a saturday in town, when of course she ran into a man that was screaming about some zombie attack. Her first reaction was simply to help the man that had falled on the floor up and walk away. She shook her head, and simply wondered what kind of an idiot he was, considering his mental health as she walked back home. Though what shocked her was the fact that she was met with zombies after a period of time, startled she was, so she grabbed the kitchen knife and ran with her parents. However inbetween the screaming and running she managed to lose her parents, and become chased by a zombie instead. Natrually, because she was relevtively athletic, she was able to run faster. But had cut its arm off while it reached out for her. Ayaka had fallen down a hill after the zombie stopped and she had lost the feeling in her legs after running for so long, her heart was beating, not out of fear but rather becase of the excitment of the feeling of cutting its arm off. She stayed at the bottom of the hill for how many hours, eyes closed as she rested, before of course she was met by the face of a girl with raised eyebrows.

Ayaka can be described as Azusa's loyal fangirl, someone who seemsto head over her heel for him that she ignores all the lunatic parts of him. Ayaka is often next to Azusa all the time, in some sorts like a unasked for right hand man. Azusa himself doesn't seem to mind her presence, although it isn't like he cares wether or not she's there. However, he is the person who knows the most about her out of everyone in the camp, as she often sneaks into his room because she got scared hearing maki's horror stories and wanted to sleep with him. Of course she's often pushed off his bed and onto the floor, she still tells him about her life before the attack, and although he doesn't talk back- she decideds that he's listening. Ayaka will most likely be the person leaning over his shoulder and giving the meat on her plate to him, because in her eyes, he needs to eat more. Up to this day, it hasn't been confirmed wether or not Azusa even enjoys her presence.

ayaka's primary weapon is often the normal kitchen knife paired with a smaller dagger, she often only keeps two kitchen knives with her, one strapped to her leg with her dagger and the other often in her hand or strapped to her waist. ayaka refuses to use anything other than a ktichen knife, and often ruins her weapons by using to much force against them therefore having to rob some out the cooks room. her dagger isn't used much but is her last resort when fighting, most would tell her to try using something other than a kitchen knfie but she refuses to touch anyother weapon.

Ayaka had been sitting at the bottom of a hill for several hours, attempting to treat her own wound, that was until a female had found her and broguht her to the camp. It was quite apparent that she was capable of defending herself as she had another person's blood on her not her own. Maki, the female that had found her had taken it on herself to recuit her into the association after she had healed offically.

Ayaka often contributes with attacks, and although isn't the strongest, is a brilliant assist- and often makes targets weaker thus easier to kill. Besides that she is occasionaly spotted treating wounds and feeding the injured. + she has no relevent goals, though she does state that she wants to stay by azusa's side forever, that however isn't counted as a goal.
