I look at myself reflecting off the clean bathroom mirror, angling my head this way and that and appreciating my features: my teardrop chocolate brown eyes, button nose and near-to-smooth skin, my jawline, dark wet hair, diamond-like shaped face and my to-die-for smirk. I laugh after smirking at myself, wondering in my mind just what in the world I'm doing in front of the mirror like this so early in the morning. However, in the end, who cares? Right now it's only me and my reflection in the mirror. Nobody else.
After checking myself out for a second time, I finally walk out of the bathroom of my small dorm room while toweling my hair dry. Wearing nothing but an extra faded yellow towel wrapped around my private, I open the closet to grab a few clothes to wear for the day ahead. I pick out a fresh baby blue and white horizontally striped shirt, dark gray slacks, and, of course, clean underwear. Bobbing to music that's actually just playing in my head, I slip into my clothes then hang my towels in the bathroom to dry. Aside from that, the campus vibe is warm and pleasant; everyone in the campus is friendly and approachable. A soft knock resonates from my dorm room door while I slip into my shoes. I open the door in a disgraceful fashion as I tie my shoelace with one hand, a friend of mine, named Jacob, appearing into view behind the other side of the door. Jacob is wearing an outfit close to what I'm wearing: slacks and button-up shirt, except with a funky rainbow printed tie. He has dark short hair that's waxed to stick up, thick brows, refined pointy nose, and dark olive green eyes with distinctively long lashes. A smile plays on his lips as he sees me. "Hey, Jake. Just a sec." I say while fumbling my shoes on then straightening up with a grin. Jacob, or Jake for short, lifts a brow in a cheeky fashion then gives me a thumbs-up after eyeing me from head to toe. "Looking good, Junsu. Ready for the 2-hour accounting morning lecture?" He grins while wrapping his arm over my shoulders. I sling my backpack onto my shoulder with a groan in response then a laugh. We both leave the dorms, chatting away like old childhood pals even though I've only met Jake at the start of our first year of university together. "Hold on, how about breakfast?" I suddenly ask and I only get a hearty laugh from my friend as
