Foreword

Wonwoo called Mingyu on his phone, waiting for him to answer.

Mingyu sat up from his bed and picked up his ringing phone. "Hey babe."

"Happy two year anniversary!" Wonwoo beamed with joy.

"Oh right!" Mingyu was barely awake when he remembered. "You too!"

"So you want to get something to eat tonight? I want to ask you something."

Mingyu froze at the second sentence. "What... do you need to ask me?"

"I'll ask you tonight. It's a surprise!" Wonwoo chuckled.

Mingyu scoffed. "Fine. Then where are we eating?"

"Your favorite restaurant."

"S.oups? But isn't it expensive?" Mingyu loved the amazing western food they served, especially the soup.

"It'd be my treat."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course I am."

"If you say so~" Mingyu smiled. "Pick me up in 30 minutes?"

"Yes. I'll be here in exactly 30 minutes."

"Okay babe," Mingyu replied, blowing him a loud kiss for him to hear. "I love you."

"I love you too," Wonwoo said, making a kissing sound over the phone.

Mingyu blushed before ending the call. He washed himself up and dressed up in a white collared shirt with blue dots and black skinny jeans, which he knew Wonwoo loved.

Wonwoo dressed in the nicest clothes he could find, along with a tie. 30 minutes later, Wonwoo arrived at Mingyu's house, knocking at his door.

Mingyu sprayed on some cologne and checked himself at the mirror. "Looking good." He took his phone and keys before opening the front door.

The door opened to a smiling Wonwoo. "Looking good babe."

"Just what I told myself by the mirror." Mingyu chuckled. "Same for yourself."

"Well it is true," Wonwoo winked.

"Whatever." Mingyu pulled him in by the waist for a hug. "I'm hungry."

Wonwoo hugged Mingyu tightly. "Well then let's get going."

Mingyu locked the door to his apartment before walking hand in hand with Wonwoo towards the restaurant. He noticed the sunset in the sky. "How long have I been asleep?" Mingyu yawned. "It's already getting dark."

"Only about ten minutes," Wonwoo said, also looking up at the sky.

"These exams are so exhausting..."

"They should be over soon right?"

"Yep," Mingyu nodded. "Just two more and I'll be done, but they're so tiring..."

"But at least you study well and that's important."

Mingyu laid his head on the other's head. "Yes I guess..."

"Well we don't want to be late for our meal now don't we?"

"Mmh." Mingyu pulled his head back up and removed his hand from Wonwoo's only to wrap it around his waist.

Wonwoo placed his right hand in Mingyu's back jean pocket as they walked together.

Mingyu decided not to talk after as they strolled comfortably like this.

It only took them a few minutes to reach the restaurant. Wonwoo opened the door for them.

Mingyu walked in, awed by the scent of the place. "Mmh, I haven't been here in ages and the smell's still as good as ever!"

"It really is!!" Wonwoo said, taking a deep breath in through his nose.

"Did you reserve seats?"

Wonwoo nodded. "Yes I did."

Mingyu pulled him closer to him. "Lead the way then."

Wonwoo lead them both to a little table for two. He pulled out Mingyu's chair for him.

"Thank you." Mingyu sat in the seat pulled by Wonwoo before the other sat in the seat across from him.

Wonwoo just stared at Mingyu lovingly.

Mingyu was looking at the menu in front of him, unaware of Wonwoo staring. "What are you ordering?"

"The beef soup; I hear it's really good."

Mingyu looked up to have Wonwoo staring back at him, causing him to blush. "Okay. I'm getting the egg drop soup."

"Sounds good," Wonwoo smiled.

Mingyu called over a waiter, who apparently he recognized as Wonwoo's friend. "Hansol right?"

The waiter nodded "Yes."

Mingyu proceeded to say their orders to the waiter before he left. He noticed Wonwoo continuing to stare at him. "Wonwoo~"

Wonwoo looked over at Mingyu. "Yeah?"

"Why do you keep staring at me like that?" Mingyu teased while feeling his own cheek. "Is there something on my face?"

"Only perfection,"  Wonwoo smiled.

"Then I should wipe away the perfection so you won't be distracted hmm?" Mingyu smirked.

"But you can't wipe away perfection though."

Mingyu pouted. "I'll just make myself ugly then."

"That's impossible honestly," Wonwoo's smile widened.

"It's possible," Mingyu lightly patted his own cheeks. "Just cover me in sweat and dirt."

"You'd still be perfect."

"Liar."

"Why would I lie about the truth?" Wonwoo giggled.

Mingyu blushed and look down at the table. "Bro..."

"Mingyu." Wonwoo took Mingyu's hand into his.

Mingyu gulped. "Yes?"

"I want to ask you something."

Mingyu nodded to tell he was listening. These moments always made him nervous.

Soon the waiter came back a second later after Wonwoo had spoken.  "Here are your drinks gentlemen."

Mingyu lightly bowed at said waiter. "Thank you."

The waiter bowed his head before walking away.

Mingyu looked back at Wonwoo. "A-As you were saying?"

"Let's take a drink first?" Wonwoo said, knowing that the waiter put the ring in Mingyu's glass so he'd find it at the bottom.

Mingyu let go of Wonwoo's hand and took his glass. "Toast to more years." Mingyu was about to take a sip when he heard several 'clinks' in the glass. "Hold on. I think there's something in the wine..."

Wonwoo's heart began to pound. This was it. This was the chance to ask the love of his life to marry him. "Hmmm I wonder what is it,"  Wonwoo sheepishly smiled.

Mingyu stuck his hand in the cup and took out the cause of the noise. It was a ring with a diamond in the middle. "A ring? It must have slipped in when they were pouring the wine."

"This is what I wanted to ask you," Wonwoo said getting down on one knee. "From the very first day I met you, I was in love with you the second I saw you. and I want to be with you forever." Wonwoo said, taking Mingyu's hand into his. "Will you marry me?"

Mingyu stood up, the wetness in his eyes obvious. He pulled the other to stand and engulfed him in a hug. "Yes," he repeated over and over. "I will marry you."

Wonwoo cried a bit, placing kisses all over Mingyu's head and face with a smile.

When Mingyu felt himself breathing normally again, he cupped Wonwoo's chin with his now diamond-decorated hand and pulled him close to his lips. "I love you so much, Jeon Wonwoo."

"I love you to the stars to the moon to the end of time and back again."

"So cheesy," Mingyu smirked before pulling him into a loving kiss.

"Only for you," Wonwoo said before kissing Mingyu's lips softly.

Mingyu's arms moved to Wonwoo's waist, pulling him closer.

Wonwoo hugged Mingyu tightly, never wanting to let go.

Mingyu looked at their table to see it filled with their soups, plus a cake. "Now let's eat to celebrate."

Wonwoo smiled. "Yes, let's celebrate well!"

-

Mingyu tried to hold in the tears as he walked down the aisle, keeping his sight on Wonwoo on the other side.

Wonwoo stared at Mingyu like he was everything in the world, the only light in the world, his everything he ever wanted. And Mingyu was and always will be his everything.

When Mingyu finally stood next to Wonwoo, he felt the first tear fall. He still can't believe he's marrying Jeon Wonwoo.

Wonwoo gently wiped Mingyus tear away, trying to keep his own tears in.

Mingyu let out a quiet giggle as the ceremony went on with them saying their vows and what not. Then came the end where they had to kiss in front of the crowd.

Wonwoo smiled as he kissed Mingyu for the first time as his husband.

Mingyu held him close by the waist, letting his lips linger on Wonwoo's longer as he heard applause.

Wonwoos heart fluttered. 'This was the best day,' he thought to himself as he wrapped his arms around Mingyu's waist.

Mingyu couldn't be happier, walking down the aisle, seeing all his close family and friends congratulating them. "This is amazing, bro."

"It really is. It's a fairy tale come true," Wonwoo smiled sweetly at his husband, Mingyu.

When they were outside, Mingyu, out of instinct, pulled Wonwoo in for another kiss.

Wonwoo smiled in the kiss. "I love you so much."

Mingyu pulled away, keeping Wonwoo close. "I love you more."

"I love you most," Wonwoo said, leaning his forehead against Mingyu's.

"No." Mingyu let out a cute pout on his face. "I do."

"I do," Wonwoo pouted back.

Mingyu pulled him close again. "Whatever. At least we're intimate bros for life."

"For eternity," Wonwoo chuckled.

"Yep." Mingyu kissed his lips once more. "For eternity."
