prologue
rogue planetsJongin's never been in love, but he thinks that his ideal soulmate should be somewhat like a cozy T-shirt. Like the Grand Canyon souvenir shirt that his mother bought for his father, that had ended up in his possession. It had been washed so many times that the colors have faded, but the worn fabric feels like home. He doesn't even like wearing shirts to sleep, usually, except for this shirt. It's not even that pretty -- it's sort of ugly, actually -- but for some reason it has the ability to comfort him.
And Jongin thinks that, ideally, love should be like that for him too. He wants to find someone comfortable and familiar, someone who puts him at ease. Someone kind and sweet, someone easy to love. Someone straightforward. Jongin wants a simple, peaceful love like that.
But of course, life has a way of not giving you what you want, and without reason Jongin falls in love with a beautiful enigma.
