Luna's POV

The wind was chilly and blowing a lot as Autumn got nearer and nearer. I don't know if it was the singing of crickets that calmed my nerves, or the dark sky above with glittering stars. I stood in between all the tall trees just closing my eyes and enjoying the fresh air and musky scent of the forest. My sensitive ears heard the trotting of a deer just 2 miles east.

I knew that the moment I left out of the house, my parents would have a fit, knowing that I went out this late at night. But as a ten year old little girl, who just had shifted. My pack felt my emotions and panicked even more, but I couldn't concentrate on them. I could feel the amount of power radiating from it, but also something missing. Like its influence on me wasn't complete but missed a piece. The wolf stalked forward, enjoying the fear it put in me. I would never be able to outrun it. I saw it getting ready to pounce as I had no choice but curl together and close my eyes, anticipating for the pain.    It never ca
