Soonyoung is not in his best mood and he figured visiting Jihoon would at least make him feel a little better, and his choice wasn't entirely a bad one.

He had walked into a peacefully sleeping Jihoon and oh god did it sooth his heart. Jihoon looked so harmless and Soonyoung wanted to protect him at all costs, but his thoughts were interrupted once Jihoon started talking.

"Kwon Soonyoung, don't you even dare,"

He knew he was supposed to feel offended, but instead he smiled like a fool. He liked how Jihoon knew it was him without even having to say or do anything.

Soonyoung then took a seat beside Jihoon and ran his fingers through the his hair. Clearly the other showed an annoyed expression, but Soonyoung knew he secretly liked the touch.

It's Jihoon after all.

"I swear to god, Soonyoung,"

Jihoon has been telling Soonyoung to off and go to bed but that annoying brat doesn't know how to listen to his words.

"Don't swear to god. That's bad." Jihoon swore he rolled his eyes so hard he saw his brain. He just wanted to sleep in the studio cause he's too tired to walk back to the dorm. Moreover, he'd have to go back here again tomorrow morning so he didn't want to waste energy... and plus, there was something else that bothered him which kept him from going back there.

He doesn't even understand why Soonyoung is so clingy to him - they're not even the best of friends. He always scolds and curses Soonyoung during recordings and he even saw Soonyoung on the verge of tears because of him the other day.

Well, maybe they used to be the closest among the members, but that was all before Jihoon started showing interest in producing.

Ever since he started playing the role as the producer in the group, Soonyoung and Jihoon had slowly started to drift away from each other.

Usually they would always have talks at late nights, and other members wouldn't be able to sleep because of their laughter and all. Sometimes neither of them wants to wake up in the morning after spending the whole night cuddling. At other times, they even sneak out from the dorm into the practice room to dance together. They were inseparable, but that's not the case anymore.

Now Soonyoung always goes to sleep alone. Eats alone. Dances alone. Cuddles with his teddy bear and watches the television with his pororo plushie instead of Jihoon.

In other words, he's been lonely ever since Jihoon started to ignore him. Of course there are many other members and he does hang out with them a lot but maybe Jihoon is a little more special compared to them.

It's been 2 hours and Soonyoung is still in the studio, bothering and pestering Jihoon to go back to the dorm.

"Oh goodness, Soonyoung. Can't you see that I'm stressed here? Can't you just leave and mind your own business?" Jihoon snapped, but Soonyoung was not surprised at all. He had expected this all along.

"Okay, I'll mind my own business," he paused, "But can I tell you something, Jihoonie?"

A small sigh escaped from Jihoon's lips as he nod softly. "What is it?"

"I miss you."

Silence.

"Excuse me, what?"

"I missed you and I still do, you dumb . You don't have to do or feel anything about what I'm about to say so stay quiet and listen to me, okay,"

"I've been so lonely ever since you started doing this whole producing thing. I understand that you're busy and preoccupied but sometimes I wish you would comeback to the dorm and then we would cuddle all night long like how we used to. You're the only one who understands and knows what to say whenever I vent but now you're not by my side anymore so I keep so many things hidden cause I don't know who else I should talk my problems with. Dancing used to be so much more exciting and fun with you but now it feels so empty and meaningless. Even the other members started to ask me why we weren't being noisy and laughing at nights anymore but I couldn't say anything because I didn't have the courage to say that we've drifted apart. I've gotten so damn attached and without you I'm kinda ed up," he took a deep breath, "I just miss you so ing much and I can't even do anything about it since you've abandoned me because of something important."

Jihoon blinked at the sudden outburst and he could feel that his own cheeks were starting to burn up. "Wait, what..."

"No, don't say anything please. I know that was a meaningless rant. I know I shouldn't have said that to you and you probably hate me more than anything now," Soonyoung looked down and started frowning, which made Jihoon's heart beat like crazy.

"I... I'm so sorry- I really didn't know that. I-I thought you and the other members would get along just well while I'm not with you g-guys," Jihoon bit his lips nervously which made Soonyoung internally freak out cause that was so not like him.

"Why the hell are you even stuttering?"

"I-I've been thinking about coming back, of course I do. But it's just been so long since I last slept there. Yes I know I do come to our dorm everyday for breakfast and all but I've been sleeping here for two weeks and so much could happen in that span of time. I was worried that you had found another bestfriend and I'd end up in an awkward situation. I didn't want to see you be so close with anyone else cause I'd get jealous as . I'm already stressed enough and if I add up jealousy I knew I'd be uncontrollable..." he shyly confessed. 

There was an awkward silence but Soonyoung suddenly started laughing. 

Jihoon frowned and widened his eyes. "Why are you even laughing? Hey!" he hit Soonyoung repeatedly out of embarrassment.

"Oh my god, you're so ing cute. Did that seriously bother you and kept you from coming back? Did you really think I'd find another cuddling buddy while you're gone?" Smiling dumbly, he tilted his head to the side, face dangerously close to Jihoon's.

"B-but it's not like it's impossible. Why are you so amused?" Jihoon mumbled quietly but loud enough for Soonyoung to hear.

"Because I'm glad I made the almighty Jihoon jealous. I'm that special to you, aren't I?"

Jihoon chuckled mockingly but nodded anyway. He then hit Soonyoung on the arm once again with a smile plastered on his face. What a lovely annoying , he thought.

They ended up spending the whole night together at the studio and the next morning, Seungcheol walked into them hugging each other on the couch.
