In the distance she could hear three women a few feet away whispering and gossiping amongst themselves - she could feel their stares piercing into her back. She pulled out her phone and looked at her clock, trying to tune out their obnoxious rambling.  5:02 p.m. her phone read. She sighed to herself and pulled the glass to her lips once more. Bored, she tuned back into the annoying women. "Isn't that P.Kay?" the first women tried to whisper. "No way, that couldn't be!" Kae rolled her eyes, she could almost hear the second woman shaking her head. Where is he, she began to chew her lip as she listened intently to the women in the distance. "Who's P.Kay?" The other two women gasped, appalled. The first woman responded, "I think it is! Unnie, you don't know her???" The second continued for her friend, "She's only one of the greatest female rappers around right now! People keep calling her the female G-Dragon! Oh my gosh." Kae flushed light pink, slightly embarassed at their words. At the mention of G-Dragon, she couldn't help but laugh bitterly to herself. The irony. She took another sip of her drink, tuning out the women once more, listening to two other familiar voices. It sounded as if they were arguing amongst themselves. She turned slightly, catching a glimpse of the two boys walking towards her.  "You're ditching me again?"   "You do it to me all the time." "But for good reasons." "Shut up this is for good reasons, she's your friend too-" "But guys night-" "Gotta go, she's already waiting!" And with that the older blew by Kae, leaving the lone male to stand in exasperation.  As the younger of the two males groaned and shook his head to follow after the older, he caught glimpse of Kae sitting alone. "Oh-"  Kae smiled and waved, somewhat embarassed. Her stomach flopped nervously (as it always did when he was around her). As he started to head over towards the seat next to her, another familiar voice rang through her ears. "Zico, what are you doing here?"  Both Zico and Kae turned towards the newcomer's voice - Zico breaking into a large grin and Kae's heart thumping loudly in her chest.  "GD Hyung! I should be the one asking you the same thing." Jiyong laughed and held his arm out for his dongsaeng, the two bumping into each other playfully.  "Just here to have dinner with a friend."  Jiyong turned to Kae and gave her an endearing smile. She could feel her cheeks flushing, and tried to remind herself to calm down. Come on Kae, calm down. Be cool be cool.  She blurted out, "I would be that friend."  Idiot, she miserably thought to herself.  Luckily the two males hadn't noticed as they were too busy talking amongst themselves. Why are they both here in one room together, oh my gosh no, this is so embarassing.  "Ah well, it was nice to see you then hyung," he paused before turning to the female. "You too Kae. Gotta go get Kyung though," he playfully glared at her. Kae laughed, feeling more relaxed than before. She sheepishly smiled before responding back, "Sorry." Zico waved and turned away without another word. Kae watched as he walked out the door, before turning back to Jiyong. Jiyong placed an order of sushi for them at the bar and took the seat besides her, letting out a breathtaking smile. Kae glared, unfazed. "You're late Ji." He groaned and swung his chair around, pouting like a child. "Don't be mad please? My plane got in late and I needed time to look presentable for you."  She rolled her eyes, but softened at his words. "Yeah well, don't let it happen again. I haven't seen you in how long?" "I don't know," he laughed, "a few months or so." Kae let out a remorseful smile but said nothing. More than that Ji- a year. The two then sat in awkward silence for what seemed to be an eternity as they waited for their food. Kae continued to stare down her drink, the awkwardness continuing to creep up on her. What were they supposed to talk about now? Her mind was frantic - they couldn't exactly talk about how close they used to be. No, that would definitely be weird. Right? Right.
