“Taehyung-ah come on let’s go,” Eun hee said and the little boy came running towards his mum. She smiled and carried the boy happily, who smiled in delight

Eun hee was heading back to Seoul. After going back to her childhood home and realizing her family moved, she felt hopeless. 

She didn’t know where to go next so instead of wandering aimlessly, she decided to raise Taehyung in her hometown before bringing him back to Seoul.

She worked hard to bring him up, getting help from her neighbors from time to time, and eventually got enough money to get a small house in Seoul

“Take care of yourself Eun hee-ah. I’ll make sure to tell your parents you tried to find them in case they come back to visit us” Mrs. Lee said. She was a friendly old lady who has helped raise Eun-hee since she was small. She recognized the girl immediately when she saw her and had helped her care for her newborn when she first arrived

“Halmoni, thank you so much for your kindness. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn't have been able to feed and bring Taehyung up on my own” Eun hee said sadly, looking at the boy who’s playing with his toy car

Mrs Lee gave the little boy a kiss on the forehead and hugged the girl one last time.

“Anything for you my dear. Now go, you’ll miss the train if you keep chatting with me” Mrs Lee joked and Eun hee laughed before nodding. She pulled the luggage she had and entered the gantry. 

She waved at Mrs. Lee one last time before heading down to the platform. Their train had just arrived so she caught it on time. 

Placing Taehyung down on his seat, she lunged the luggage up.

“Wow not bad for someone of a small build” she heard a familiar voice say. She turned to see Jungkook looking at her with a cute smile. 

“Oppa? What are you doing here?!” Eun hee exclaimed. Luckily for them, their cabin was empty so no one really saw or heard them

“Mrs. Lee told me you were heading back to Seoul today so I thought I would give you and the little guy here a small surprise” Jungkook chuckled and Taehyung smiled

“Appa~ Will you be coming with us?” Taehyung asked and Jungkook nodded before ruffling his hair. Taehyung clapped his hands in excitement which made Jungkook smile happily. Eun hee smiled at their interaction before sitting down next to Taehyung 

“Once we arrive in Seoul Appa has to go first okay? He’ll meet us in the new house hm?” Eun hee said and Taehyung pouted before nodding his head. She was relieved he didn’t put up a fight. He understood the pain it will cause Eun hee and he behaved well

Jungkook got on his seat on the opposite side of them and began to play around with Taehyung and his cars. As Eun hee watched them play, she looked outside the window

She misses her family. Even though she was adopted they cared for her like she’s their own and what did she do to repay them? She ran away to find her real family. She didn’t regret not finding them though. She felt relieved to at least know they’re alive and well

She missed working at Big hit. Hanging around with the boys, besides Jungkook of course. She missed her co-workers. She missed her best friend.

Most importantly she missed him. She missed Taehyung, her real Taehyung.

To say she didn’t think of him was a lie. She contemplated dialing his number a lot of times. She even thought of asking Jungkook to bring him to her but that would be selfish

Seeing him on the television was enough. She had to be strong but it all crumbled down when kid Taehyung reached 4 and wanted to know where his father was. 

So she had a talk with Jungkook and they decided to let Jungkook stand in as his dad. He was the only one who knew of her existence and is technically still his kid. Jungkook felt like he was somehow betraying Taehyung but he knew that she would rather do this than to see Taehyung again

“Soory-I mean Eun hee-ah we’re here” Jungkook shook the girl awake. She didn’t realize she had dozed off while staring out of the window. She saw Taehyung asleep beside her and shook her head before slowly carrying him

“Are you sure you can bring him alone? I can get someone to help you” Jungkook asked worriedly and Eun hee shook her head

“It’s okay oppa I can handle it. He’s not that heavy” Eun hee said and Jungkook nodded. He helped the girl bring down her luggage before they exited the train. Once they were off, they immediately parted ways to reduce suspicion.

Eun hee headed to the taxi stand while Jungkook went to his car. He got his license a few months back and he immediately bought a car so that he can go anywhere he wants without people knowing it’s him

Eun hee on the other hand got into the cab and headed to the new house. It wasn’t far by drive so she reached there in 15 minutes. Taehyung was awake by then and was excited to see the new house

Eun hee paid and thanked the driver before carrying Taehyung out with her luggage. Once she opened the door, Taehyung immediately ran around excitedly

“Wah omma did appa really do all this?” Taehyung asked happily and Eun hee nodded with a smile. 

Well she bought the house and he decorated it. She was thankful for all his help and she won’t ever know how to thank Jungkook for the amount work he helped her with despite his busy schedule

She helped Taehyung freshen up and cooked some dinner before freshening up herself. She texted Jungkook to ask if he’s still coming for dinner and he replied almost instantly
