The next few weeks of her pregnancy went well for Sooryun and Taehyung took care of her with lots of love. Although he couldn’t be around much, he made sure Sooryun was well taken care of by his or her family

However though as his filming for his drama has been taking up a lot of his time either Kyungri or Jungkook has been the one accompanying her to check ups and ultrasounds

“It’s like the closer you are to giving birth he gets more busy. Shouldn’t he be by your side even more? This is like the 3rd time he ditched you” Kyungri said and Sooryun just rubbed her belly

“That’s what I get for getting chummy with a star I guess” Sooryun muttered and Kyungri sighed before rubbing her shoulders

The two collected Sooryun’s prenatal medications and headed home. Sooryun had stopped working at Big hit since she was getting really big and they didn’t want any rumors to spread

Big hit is still paying her though as part of the deal, since their star really did get her pregnant so they kept to their deal. 

Sooryun and Kyungri decided to drop by big hit for a while since Kyungri has to pass some documents. Sooryun followed her up and decided to drop by Bangtan’s practice room. She saw the guys training hard and smiled. 

She met eyes with Jungkook, who gave her a smile. She waved back before seeing Taehyung by him, but the guy was too focused on the dance to notice her. She pouted slightly but didn’t want to go in since she will be distracting their practice.

So she decided to find Kyungri but on the way there she bumped into someone.

“Hey! Watch where you’re going” the girl exclaimed after she almost dropped coffee on her shoes. Sooryun apologised and the girl scoffed when she saw her big belly.

“No wonder we bumped into each other, you’re busy taking up the whole space” the girl said and Sooryun frowned. She barely knows this girl and she’s here insulting her like they’ve been enemies for years

“Excuse me but you don’t have to be mean. I already apologised and nothing dropped on your ‘expensive’ shoes anyways. I don’t know why or who got you so angst but you won’t get so far in life being rude” Sooryun said with an annoyed voice and the girl rolled her eyes

“I’m afraid so since I did replace you after all, Kim Sooryun” she smirked and Sooryun’s heart dropped. 

“How did you know my name?” Sooryun asked, getting a bit worried. The drugging incident was a while back but she forgot about it for the sake of her friendship with Jungkook and her relationship with Taehyung

But now this girl knows all about her and she can’t help but feel that she’s the main cause of why that happened and she’s going to get her answer from this girl

“Well there was a bit of a set back, after all Taehyung still loved you despite that incident but who knows, maybe once that child comes out it might change his mind” the girl chuckled before turning away but not before scanning Sooryun one last time

“Taehyung is mine Kim Sooryun and I’ll make sure I’ll get rid of anyone who dares to come in between me and him” the girl smirked before walking off. Sooryun wanted to chase her when Kyungri called out to her.

Sooryun looked at Kyungri with fear in her face. Kyungri frowned and rushed to the girl, checking on her tummy for fear that the girl was going into early labour but Sooryun gripped onto her arms. 

“Unnie, I might know who ordered to drug Jungkook and me” Sooryun said panicky and wanted to follow after the girl but Kyungri held her down

“Sooryun calm down, you’re pregnant and you’re not that far off from birth don’t induce it by stress!” Kyungri calmed her down and once the girl was more okay they decided to meet Mr Bang which took a while since he was in a meeting

Once they were seated together and ensured privacy, Mr Bang looked at Sooryun with a worried gaze. He loved the girl as much as his artist because she was such a hard worker but he didn’t want to risk anyone seeing her here afraid of the rumors that might spread

“So is what Kyungri is saying true? You might know who caused the incident that night?” Mr Bang asked and Sooryun nodded. He sighed and rubbed his temples. He wanted to let it go since the bartender is not saying anything and was bailed out

He thought he might just let it die since it’s something manageable but he can’t ignore it now that the person responsible is in the picture

“Do you happen to know who she is? Or at least what department she is in so we can investigate further?” Mr Bang asked and Sooryun sighed and shook her head

“The most I got is that she mentioned something about managing to replace me” Sooryun said and honestly her heart was torned. As much as she would love to go for another company, everyone she saw as family was here and she can’t help but feel sad if there was indeed a replacement for her

“We did get a new marketing advisor but it’s a guy and unless he’s gay, I doubt he was the one who threatened you?” Mr Bang said and Sooryun shook her head, mentioning that it was a girl. 

They thought long and hard but no one came to mind since everyone around BTS have been the same and it would've been easy to know who was who. 

Sooryun started to feel giddy and Mr Bang patted her back.

“Why don’t you take a rest and I’ll take care of it. I’ll contact you if I have any leads on anyone” Mr Bang said and Sooryun nodded unwillingly. She was worried but most importantly, she was scared. 

She didn’t want anything to happen between her relationship with Taehyung and having to raise the baby alone.

“Come on Soo, all that thinking is not good for you or the baby. You need some rest okay?” Kyungri said and Sooryun nodded sadly. 

When they headed home, she went straight to her room. Her heart wasn’t settled and she was scared but what Kyungri said was true. Stresing her would only make her feel worse and she doesn’t want anything to happen to the baby

She looked at her phone and wanted to video call Taehyung. The ringing was endless and the familiar voice note played. He’s busy again. 

She sighed and cleaned herself up before getting ready for bed. She didn’t feel like eating dinner today since the girl really spoiled her mood. Not long after her eyes closed, she drifted off to sleep

Sirens were heard in the distance, pain shot up her arms, everything was dark and blur. 

“MUM! DAD! OPPA!” her tears started to drop. She could only see the people drifting away and no matter how much she called out to them, they didn’t hear her

The further they got, the more darker it was. She tried to look around for anything to help her catch up to them, make them notice her but she only had her bear. With one last energy she had, she threw it towards them, hoping they would notice bu
