“Jin, what about you stay over tonight?” Mrs. Park offered

“but, I have a house”

She chuckled, “I know you have, but you must be tired”

“eomma..”

“yes, dear?”

“we don’t bring any clothes”

“Yeobo?” Mr. Park walked to his wife, Jin stood up and bowed to him, “Oh Jimin, Jin, I didn’t know you come here” he said as he kissed his wife, “are you visiting Seoul?” he asked Jin

“no, I’m staying in Seoul now, Mr. Park” Mr. Park replied with a simple ‘Ah! I see’ before he turned his attention to his wife, “so… Yoongi’s dad called me” Jimin eyed his mom, but Mrs. Park just listening to her husband, anticipating for the next word

“he said something weird to me, like Yoongi cheated on Jimin and him sending files for divorce to Jimin he even said that it’s okay to punch Yoongi, what happened actually?”

“I wonder why would he said something like that” Mrs. Park replied, Jimin and Jin stared in confusion, ‘she really cover this things up’ Jin thought

Mr. Park sat on the couch, put his stuff on the desk besides several papers he hadn’t see before, he pick it up and opened it, unfortunately, it happens to be the files Jimin brought. Mr. Park stared at his wife and Jimin alternately

“appa, It’s not like what you think” Jimin said

“Ah! I’m sorry, I have to call Namjoon, telling him I’m going to be a little late” Jin excused himself, he didn’t want to hear everything because it’s not polite to stick your nose into someone problems, so he went outside

“mind to explain what is this?” Mr. Park finally asked, “it’s nothing” his wife replied, “You say it’s nothing when I’m currently holding papers for divorce?! Tell me what is this!” Mr. Park slammed the papers into the table, what Jimin hate from his dad’s personality is he is hot-headed and short-tempered

“first, Mr. Min called me suddenly telling Yoongi cheated and everything. I was angry, but then he said I could beat him off and I stopped believing his words, thinking those are just a joke, and I came home to find this. Did he really do this?!” Mr. Park looked at his son, “Park Jimin, I demand an explanation.”

Mrs. Park stood up, and put her hand on her husband arm, “ it just a misunderstanding, I’m planning to go to his house tomorrow, to clear this thing up, don’t worry over it, I’m going to take care of it” she said unexpectedly calm

“actually what happened? Did your husband really cheat on you? Jimin, answer me!“ Jimin didn’t want to, if he tell him, he was sure his dad will do everything to make Yoongi pay for this, he can’t let this happen, he can’t let his dad hurt Yoongi

Mrs. Park finally spoke up, “like I said, it just a misunderstanding, just a miscommunication between Yoongi and his dad, and this paper, is also part of it. No big deal”

Mr. Park eyed his wife, “are you sure this is just misunderstanding? Are you lying?” Mrs. Park smiled, “of course, if it’s not a mistake, I wouldn’t be so relaxed”

He didn’t say anything, just looking at his wife’s face searching for something hidden before let out a sigh, “okay, I believe what you said”, he turned to Jimin, “but if Yoongi ever cheat on you or being abusive towards you, you have to inform me, I’m going to break every bone in his body. Mark my words” Jimin gulped, when his dad says something, it always serious, never just a bluff

But somehow it makes Mrs. Park giggled, “that fluffy marshmallow like Yoongi wouldn’t do that” she said to enlighten the mood, and it worked a little, his expression softened, “Jimin, before it’s too late, I’ll tell you that, if there is no other thing in a relationship but love, the love itself will hurt you” the younger could almost feel the pain his father’s word stabbed him, ‘it’s already late, appa’ Jimin wanted to say that

“you don’t have to worry about this, just focus on your work” Mrs. Park patted his husband shoulder.

-Yoongi’s POV-

Mrs. Min now having a serious conversation with her son, “so? Do you really want to continue it?”

“…” Yoongi didn’t answer

“does it mean yes?”

“no” it’s really quiet, Mrs. Min almost didn’t catch it, she smiled, “then, make it up to him. I know it won’t be easy, but at least you try.”

“I can’t, mom. Appa—”

“Yoongi, tell me what you want, not what appa wants” Mrs. Min emphasized

“….I don’t even know what I want”

The next day, Yoongi called for another day off, he still can’t coming to the office look like a zombie, Mrs. Min was making lunch when there was a knock on the door, she opened it and Mrs. Park stood there smiling, “Good afternoon, Mrs. Min. Is Yoongi home?”

Mrs. Min stared at her, ‘why is she smiling? My son did horrible things to Jimin and she could still smile?!’ but she managed to reply, “yes, come in”

Mrs. Park took off her shoes, and proceed to go to the living room before asking, “can I talk to him?” Mrs. Min nodded and led her upstairs to Yoongi’s bedroom

The room was pitch black, Mrs. Park sighed heavily when she saw a figure laying on the bed, hair messed up, even the bed sheets also look really messy, “Yoongi?”

Yoongi shot up and turned his head to the door, he really wanted to flee to the other side of the world and never comeback but he can’t, “eomonim?” his voice hoarse

“I’m going to let you talk alone with him” Mrs. Min excused herself

Mrs. Park turn on the light and Yoongi’s face scrunched up because of the sudden brightness, she walked towards him and sat on the bed side, “how are you?” she starts with simple question

“I’m fine, eomonim”

“really? I think you didn’t get enough sleep and you lose weight, don’t you?”

“….I’m sorry, eomonim” he didn’t look at her face

“for what?”

“Jimin. I hurt Jimin. I can’t make him happy. I broke all the vows I made on the wedding day”

“it’s okay, Yoongi”

“no, it’s not. No matter how you look at it, it’s not okay. I make him cry, when it’s the last thing I want to do to him. I cheated on him, not once but hundreds”

“did you sign the paper?” she use this methods on Yoongi, and earned a nod, “do you want it?” Yoongi stayed still, “you are fighting with your other self, don’t you?”

Yoongi looked at her, “how do you know?”, Mrs. Park smiled, “because everybody experience it” she replied matter-or-fact, “could you tell me, do you still love him?”

“…yes.”

“and he still loves you”

“…I know”

“then you still want to divorce?”

“…yes”

“why? you two still love each other, that’s the only thing that matters in relationship”

“but I hurt him! I hurt him and I left him! Everyone was right, I was never good enough for him, he is too kind, he always forgive me, whatever I do he never blame me. everyone was right, I don’t deserve him, his pure heart don’t deserve a jerk like me. I’m too awful to be with him”

“then why don’t you try to be a better person starts from now?”

Yoongi looks at her disbelief, “I’m sorry, but maybe you didn’t get my point. I already hurt him.”

“young man, I see your point, you said that over and over again. You can be a better person, and Jimin wouldn’t be ‘too good’ anymore for you” Mrs. Park replied

“but—”

“I’m sure you are hurting him more by being like this”

“will he forgive me? for everything I’ve done? I mean, I left him when it’s clearly my fault”

“do you love him?” Yoongi nodded, “if he lied to you, and he apologies to you will you forgive him?”

“of course” Mrs. Park smiled at the answer, “I believe, I said that he still loves you”

“but it’s two different thing. It’s not something that ‘sorry’ would do”

“I don’t say you just have to say sorry. I said you have to be a better person, and by that, I mean is you have to start over again, everything. Tell him, you love him. Tell him, you are sorry and prove it. Show him that you love him, show that you are really regret what you did and make him feel wanted” Mrs. Park look at her watch, “I have to go now” she said as she stood up, but Yoongi held her wrist

“why, eomonim?” Yoongi’s voice kept decreasing followed

“why what?”

“I hurt your son, I left your son, I made your son cried. Why are you still bother yourself to come here? To talk with me? and try to reconcile us again? Aren’t you mad at me? don’t you want to slap me?” he looked down, it’s obvious that he cried, it’s the first time a Yoongi cried

“let me tell you this, everyone makes mistakes, either a small one or a really big one and what differ them is some of them choose to change but some of them not”

“what if I can’t change?”

“it’s more like, what if you don’t want to. Why don’t you start from visiting him and say sorry first?”

“c-can I?”

“Let’s say I give you another chance to take my son to date again”

“you still trust me?”

“I know you won’t do anything bad to him, I know you have learnt your lesson. Now, wipe your tears, take a bath, change your clothes and do what I say” Mrs. Park said before she walked towards the door, “and make sure to send him back before 10 p.m” she winked and walked off. Yoongi smiled, ‘this is the last chance I have, to make it up to Jimin’

-Jin’s POV-

Ring! Ring!

Jimin wanted to stand up when Jin held his shoulder, “I get it, just eat your breakfast” he said as he walked to the door, he opened it and Yoongi stood there

Jin smirked, “can I help you?”

“is Jimin home?”

“yes, why?”

“can I take him out?”

“no.”

“why?”

Jin really wanted to punch him, “you left him and you expect me to let you take him somewhere I don’t know?”

“Jin, I want to start over with him again”

“so that you have him back and continue your routine as a cheater? No, Yoongi.”

“Jin, why you do this to me?”

“why?! you ask me why?! why don’t you ask yourself?! You freaking dumped him! And now you want to start over? Are you insane?!” Jin shouted, “I’ll make sure you never met him again, Yoongi. You have to understand the pain that Jimin feel and to make you understand, you have to experience it.” And Jin slamed the door in front of Yoongi.
