Me Before You

Description

Everything was rainbows and sunshine for Mia Holland and Park Chanyeol until one tragic night where everything went downhill. Mia had to leave, bearing secrets and scars she could never tell anyone, and a baby.

Foreword

"What the hell are you doing?" Tiffany yelled as she followed Mia out of the room and back inside. She was confused, coming home to a very odd friend pulling clothes and stuffs and chucking it into a big luggage. And she was also angry, angry that Mia - a dishevelled looking Mia - refused to answer anything.

"What the is wrong with you?" Tiffany yanked Mia hands in attempt to stop her but much to her surprise, Mia shrieked and backed away, trembling.

"Stop touching me!" Mia shrieked and started brushing and wiping her arms and hands rather forcefully as if she was dusting off invisible dirt. Tiffany observed, honestly confused and worried as Mia mumbled some words she couldnt hear. Then, she burst off crying and slumped down on the floor.

"Are-are you okay, babe?" Tiffany was scared to even take one step forward to this odd behaviour. "Mia?"

"Dirty, dirty, dirty," Mia mumbled as she rubbed her hands all over her shirt and jeans, tears overflowing like a river. "Stop, please stop." She closed her eyes, looking like she was in pain and as if she was trying hard to forget some things.

Tiffany hurried over and kneeled down, carefully putting her hands on Mia's shoulder. She pushed the silver hair of hers away from Mia's wet face, and trying her best to understand the troubled mind.

"I sh-should've called you... I-I-I should have never went there...." Mia's was stuttering her words and hiccuping now, and her eyes were red and puffy as if she was crying for hours when Tiffany wasn't there. She had been.

"Tell me what happened" Tiffany pleaded, her voice was much softer than before. "Did you have a fight with Chanyeol? I swear if he did something bad-"

"No. No." Mia shook her head quickly, and then she frowned and winced and she cried harder. "No, please don't hurt him... please take care of him.." She whispered as she looked up to meet Tiffany's eyes.

Mia was broken and in pain.

"I have to leave..." As if something had struck inside of her, she stood right up and Tiffany tumbled backwards as she made her way to the closet and started pulling out the last bits of clothing she owned. Her tears was still flowing as she gave her best attempt on zipping the cramped luggage and carrying it out of the room, ignoring Tiffany.

"So.. so so you are leaving just like that? What the ? You crazy ! Who give you the permission to leave?" Tiffany yelled and trying to pull Mia but she only managed to pull the sleeves from her shoulder down. A big blue black mark was visible to Tiffany's eyes. Mia's eyes went wide in fear, and quickly pulled up her sleeves.

"It-it's nothing..." She stammered, pulling the luggage from being stuck on the coffee table with force and rather swiftly. It hurt her that she had to avoid Tiffany's gaze and questions and pushing her to the floor harshly so she can get out.

It hurt her that Tiffany was her one and only best friend and she couldnt bring herself to tell her this sick, disgusting tragedy that had happened to her.

Her heart ached with every step she took away from this place. And the phone that had been ringing and flashing for hours hurt her even more.

Mia just needed to get away now.

She needed to leave.

She needed to leave this town.

She needed to leave her home.

Another phone call went through, and it flashed his name. Oh, how it hurt just to see his wonderful, wonderful name.

Park Chanyeol.

She needed to leave Park Chanyeol.

For the better.
