Foreword
Feeling the cold breeze against my skin, i took my slippers off. Breathing in the fresh air, i studied the sunset. It was rosy and pink, very much stark contrast to the turmoil in my heart.
What will be the first thing you'd do if your doctor told you ' I'm sorry, but you only have 3 months to live' ?
I wanted to kill myself. There was no point in living anymore knowing you will die one day. So there I am, standing on the rooftop of the hospital.
At least the pain would be short. I thought to myself.
Pushing myself up on the ledge, i closed my eyes, spread open my arms, and enjoyed the evening breeze. As I slided one foot forward, I felt a warm hand grabbing my arm.
Shocked, I opened my eyes and turned around.
"Get down from there"
Suicide wasn't the best choice.
