Story Description – Children and teens are being kidnapped across the country, turning up suddenly with no memory of where they were or who took them. Some of the missing persons display extraordinary talents, but lack the ability to speak. These people are deemed, The Muted. It's soon clear that those known as The Muted cannot control their abilities and are a danger to society. They are ordered to be rounded up and executed. 

When Luhan, the son of a rich politician, is kidnapped, he finds himself in a world he only heard about through the news reports. There in captivity, he meets eleven other young men, three of whom he recognizes. Quickly forming an uneasy alliance with these boys, they struggle to survive the horrors they now face. Together, they hatch a hair-brained scheme to escape captivity. Can they find their way home before they meet the same fates as the Muted?
