*Note: Collab between my friend DrinkCoffeeBeHappy and I. We switch writing, so I wrote the prologue, and she did ((most of)) Ch. 1.

Foreword

"Family isn't always blood.  It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are.  The ones who would do anything to see you smile & who love you no matter what."

They don’t remember how they met, when they started living together.

Junmyeon was crown prince. The old king was attacked by the current king. And the queen, for safety, sent him away.

That family was unhappy and left him to die in the woods. He was taken in by Minseok’s family.

After they died, Minseok and Junmyeon went to their brother, who had grandsons named Jongdae and Jongin.

Jongin had a friend called Sehun.

Sehun had a friend called Luhan.

Luhan and Yixing and Zitao were orphans from the local orphanage.

One day, three other boys entered the orphanage.

They were Chanyeol, Baekhyun, and Yifan.

One day, after they’d all become friends, their village was attacked by pirates.

The pirates held a captive called Kyungsoo.

Everyone was killed, except for the twelve boys. They escaped, and from then on, have lived in the woods, moving around, staying alive.

"The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb."

Chapter 5: I really love Junmyeon and it's really hard to find a Junmyeon-centric fic that that showcases his leadership capabilites and how much the other members need him. Thank you for writing this. I'm looking forward to more!!
