back and forth

Description

Because we lived our own unfinished story. We all wonder how the endings would be, but surely we can't find it in the first phrase, nor the first page;

14 years ago, 2001.

People are all dressed in black, synching with the sky. Tears are there for those who holds on to the memory, of being loved. And those who have their eyes red over sadness, should be thankful for the rain who help them hides the pain.

“So, she will never come back?” And the only boy who hasn't shed a tear finally got to speak.

“she won’t,” and the girl who stood next to him already ran out of tears.

“Noona—“

“Stop calling me noona, I’m only a minute older than you” She turns around and walk away from the scene, letting her little body got soaked by the rain, “We should go now, we have homework tomorrow”

The boy catches up with her, “But noona— I mean, Jiah, I want to stay longer with mom” with a little force, he finally got to stop her.

“Me too, Jimin, but we can't”. She looked up to the sky, asking for more blessing from the sky, “At least we know that she will always be here, right?”

He nods, “Right”

And that's why we try our best to look for the next chapters, or simply write our own.

Foreword

Okay, so I decided to try and join: blank space || a writing contest ||

With the prompt:

-Some people are meant to fall in with each other, but not meant to be together.

-When I don’t have the energy to cover you with an umbrella, I’ll stand in the rain with you.

I didn't expect much, since I'm still new-amateur. Just hope that my writings could improve :)

But please do look out for it  xx
