What Not to Write {fanfiction tips}

"your vote of confidence is overwhelming" —

This is for none other than the AFF authors, or any authors in general that receive rude, nonconstructive criticism. I don't mean necessarily on this website but any website in general. Nobody wants to hear bad news about their writing but to me, bad news can be looked at as good news. When you hear from someone what they don't like, you can build upon that to fix the mistakes that were formerly made--unless you're dealing with a troll.

For those who don't know a troll is someone who just comments provocative comments to cause as much disruption possible. You do not want to be called a troll unless it is in a joking manner with friends because otherwise that means you're most likely being an . Ignore trolls because they most likely have nothing else to do with their lives except bother others. You can block them as well and get rid of them permanently--unless they come back again with a new username of some sort. Like anything else in life there are "if" and "but" scenarios but worry about them when they come.

Haters are people I haven't encountered yet but have seen. Haters give off comments that are much different than constructive criticism. Haters are people who cannot be happy for someone else's achievement(s). Constructive criticism, however, are never given off by haters because haters don't care to give good advice, they just rant and complain mindlessly because they're--never mind, just ignore them. I don't want to rant about haters because I'll have to mark this thing 'H' (or 'M' now I think) so I won't even continue.

If I see a comment that says, "Your sentences are choppy," that means I just got constructive criticism. If I see a comment that says, "Your advice ." Well, then, I have this fancy thing called a block button that I can use to get rid of that annoying person if they continue to be a head. I don't know about you but my title this time around is actually a quote from one of my most favorite movies (other than Harry Potter and Speed Racer--which has Rain in it if you guys didn't know) called "The Princess Bride" a book that was later produced as a movie.

A final word of advice if you're getting negative comments just shrug it off. If they know that their words don't bother you, they'll eventually go away in the end. If you know what you're doing and manage to be content with it, that's all that matters. Just don't be ignorant and post stuff that nobody can understand because you're illiterate and in denial that you write bad. Just saying.

Chapter 4: I wouldn't necessarily say using apostrophes for dialogues is wrong, many books published in the UK prefer this format...
