Irene admit that she’s not the brightest when it comes to academics, but if there’s one thing she could pride herself in, it would be her ability to read people. That’s the good thing about being the quiet one – she gets to observe instead of talk. And having observed Seulgi and Wendy since they were kids, Irene was more than sure that she knows their personalities by now.

Wendy is a people’s person. A talented one at that. Give her any instruments and she’ll show you what beautiful music sounds like. With her charms and talent, wherever she goes, she has no trouble making friends. There’s just never a dull moment with her. But however loud Wendy is, her heart is just as big and warm. She always keeps the conversation going and make sure everyone is feeling comfortable. There were so many times where Irene was thankful towards Wendy for dissolving the awkward atmosphere she creates. Let’s just say, Irene in a room full of a strangers calls for cricket’s chirping.

Seulgi, on the other hand, is only a little better than Irene in terms of socializing. Although she’s one of the louder ones out of the three, she’s just as shy in front of strangers as Irene is. But despite that, Seulgi wouldn’t hesitate even for a second before helping someone out, stranger or not. Irene notices the little things Seulgi silently does for other people. She helps them without bragging or wanting anything in return. It brings a smile to Irene’s face whenever she notices those small, thoughtful actions.

With all that said, Irene definitely noticed that Seulgi was avoiding her, no matter how much the latter denied it. Plans were always cancelled and phone calls always end before it even reaches 5 minutes. Aside from the one class that they have together, Irene never see Seulgi around anymore. It’s like the girl intentionally takes the longer r
