Misunderstanding
~
After what seemed like hours, Yuto finally came back.
"What took you so long?" I whined
He looked at his watch "10 minutes?"
"Oh it was only 10 minutes?" I said and looked at my watch "Oh wow" I laughed
"I know, you missed me" he said, conceitedly
"Whatever" I rolled my eyes "What did she want to tell you?"
"She asked me to be her boyfriend"
I froze. Boyfriend.... Yuto and that cute girl... Dating?
"Suzuka?" he waved his hand in front of my face "Are you okay?"
"I-I suddenly remembered my mom told me to come home early to help her with something" I stood up "I'll see you tomorrow!" I said and ran out of the library, I ignored him calling my name.
I started crying and ran home. After I got home I rushed to my room, ignoring my parents asking me what's wrong. I can't believe this. Why? Why does she have to take my Yuto away? I didn't even know I liked him until now...
I jumped onto my bed and started crying while hugging my pillow.
How do I face him n-
"Suzuka~" My mom called from downstairs, cutting me off from my thoughts
I ignored her and continued crying
Anyways, where was I? Oh right...
How do I face Yuto no-
"Suzuka!" she called again, Oh my god mom, please shut up and let me finish my sentence! You don't see girls in dramas being bothered by their parents when they're crying!
"Suzuka!" she yelled louder "I made pie!"
I opened my door and yelled "WILL YOU JUST LET ME MOURN QUIETLY?!"
"Wow who died?" my brother asked
"No one! I just need to be alone and quiet"
I slammed my door shut and went back to crying. Great now my tears won't come out! What the hell mom! She killed my mood of being depressed!
"Suzuka!!" she yelled again
"WHAT NOW?!" I shouted, completely angry now
"Yuto-kun is here to see you!"
"Tell him I'm not here!" I yelled, I mentally slapped myself. Am I stupid or what? Of course he's gonna hear me!
"Did you think I wasn't gonna hear?"
I looked at my door and saw Yuto standing by the door.
"What do you want?"
"Didn't you say you went home early to help your mom?"
"Doesn't it look like I'm helping her?" I asked, of course it doesn't. I'm lying down on my bed.
He raised an eyebrow "Well it depends..."
I sighed.
"Suzuka..." he sat down on my bed "I think there's a misunderstanding..."
"Oh isn't there always?" I rolled my eyes.
"Ayumi-chan asked me to be her boyfriend but we're not dating"
"You mean you rejected her..?"
He nodded.
Oh... Okay... So I just made a complete fool of myself?
"Wh-what made you think I was sad over that?" I scoffed
"Are you really asking me that?" he chuckled
"Okay fine..." I gave in, not that I really had a choice....
"You were jealous huh?"
"M-maybe a little..." I looked down
"What were you planning to do if I accepted?"
"I would...I would date your brother" I chuckled
"You wouldn't!" he laughed
"He's a cutie~" I giggled
"He's Eleven~" he said in the same tone as me, mockingly
"I don't mind dating someone a few years younger than me, plus kids their age like older women"
"Who told you that?" he said, looking at me as if I was ridiculous
"Raiya-kun himself" I said proudly
"Y-you're not really planning to date him are you?"
I smirked
"Suzuka! You cannot betray me for my younger brother!"
"Well technically I'm not betraying you since we're best friends and he will be my boyfriend"
"You know what I'm trying to say!" he blushed
"Nope" I teased
He grabbed my hand and looked at me straight in the eyes "I want us to be more than friends"
"Aww I wish I can video tape this!" I squealed, totally killing the romantic mood that Yuto set up "You don't know how hot you look!"
"Suzuka!" his face was now super red
"You know, 'more than friends' can be anything" I said, teasing him again "It can be best friends, best best friends, bestest friends in the whole world, and bester than best-"
He cut me off with a kiss. My eyes widened, my teasing may have went a little too far....
"Would best friends do that?" he smirked
I shook my head, still in shock.
"Aww did you see that honey?"
We looked towards the door and saw my mom and dad peeking through the door.
"Suzuka's first kiss!"
"MOM, DAD GET OUT!!!" I yelled blushing madly
They chuckled.
Yuto and I looked at each other and laughed.
I have to thank Mirai for this, I noted in my head.
