Jayus
Description
"I never signed up for this" Mark cried, as he witnessed first-hand how the combination of a seemingly innocent drunk phone call and a wrong number eventually materialized into a night of agony, spilled vomit, and a non-intended sleepover. And possibly more?

(n) a joke so poorly told and unfunny you can't help but laugh
I was looking for a title for this story and scrolled through Buzzfeed's list of 28 Beautiful Words the English Language should steal. I was lucky to stumble upon this intriguing Indonesian word that I felt covered the idea of the story perfectly, specifically how Mark and Jackson's relationship starts and then unfolds, which altogether resembles a poorly told joke in itself. But we can't help but laugh at it when looking back, because how could a story like this be told in any other way?
Summary
Basically, exams are a turned chapter for some and for others, still an ongoing nightmare. Of the lucky majority belonging to the first category, there is Jackson who has gone out for tonight with his fellow students to celebrate yet another end of exams. Having barely touched any alcohol for half a year because reasons, he has decided to let loose for the night, allowing one drink to turn into two into three into too many drinks that eventually have him end up calling the wrong number by accident. Of the unfortunate minority belonging to the second category, there is a very exhausted Mark, the life of whom has already been dry by the all too vicious exam season. All he is asking for is a decent night's sleep and some satisfying grades at best. The least he needs is a drunk phone call from a stranger at 3:46 in the morning. Ironically, the latter is what he gets.
