THREE
Sleep Away
About 2 months after that, Taeyeon and Krystal started to become much
closer. It went exactly as Krystal planned it. The two spent some time
together, Taeyeon would see a different side from her, and the two of
them would grow closer. And Krystal loved it. Taeyeon had stopped acting
so nervous and anxious all the time, allowing Krystal get to talk to her
a lot more. They suddenly started to learn things about the other and
were happy that their relationship was improving. However when it came
to the feelings they shared for one and another, the two girls tread
carefully. Krystal wasn’t nearly as bottled up as Taeyeon was and knew
that even if Taeyeon didn’t feel the same way, she could confide her
and not expect to be penalized for it. Krystal was only waiting for the
right time to act. However Taeyeon could not be as sure about Krystal as
Krystal was about her. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Krystal; she knew
the brunette haired girl was not as stuck-up or as vain as people at
school said she was. But the people she called her friends *were* that
way, and the fear of Krystal being publicly hated forced her to keep
quiet. Despite that resolve, the actual execution of it was extremely
hard; Because of Krystal’s innocent seductiveness…

“How ‘bout this one?”
“It’s...n-nice...”
Krystal and Taeyeon were at Krystal’s house; today they planned on going to
the mall to do a little shopping. However, Krystal could not decide what
to wear, so requested Taeyeon’s help. And for some reason, she seemed
oblivious to the effects standing there in nothing but her underwear
was having on the blonde musician...
Krystal had held up a black tank top to her chest, and just looked at
Taeyeon expectantly, trying to elicit some form of reaction from her,
which would confirm which one looked best on her. All Taeyeon could do
was blush maddeningly, desperately trying to control herself but she
couldn’t...Krystal walked over to her wardrobe and stretched up to try
and reach a pile of clothes on the upper inside shelf. And Taeyeon’s
jaw dropped as the beauty just before her stood on her tiptoes to
achieve her goal. Taeyeon couldn’t stand it anymore. She turned away
before Krystal’s body trapped her gaze again. How could God allow anyone
to be so attractive? Taeyeon was so thrown by her Krystal’s looks that
she didn’t realize how much this turned her on...
{I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up...I can feel the
blood rushing to my cheeks, god, I wish I could control my blush; it
will give me away one of these days...but I can’t stop it. I want
Krystal so bad...} Taeyeon thought.
The young musician crossed her legs and clutched her fists into tight
balls, gently gripping the spread of the bed that she was sitting on.
Krystal grabbed two of the shirts that were on the inside shelf of the
wardrobe. The brunette haired girl presented them to Taeyeon and waited for
her approval. Taeyeon stood abruptly, picked out the shirt on the left,
and quickly left the room. The blonde musician lay back on the wall
and exhaled. She felt much more comfortable now that she was out of
there. A few minutes later Krystal walked out of her bedroom wearing the
shirt that Taeyeon had chosen for her and looked around for the
blonde. She was leaning on the bathroom door.
Krystal walked up to her with a very confused look across her features.
“What’s with you today?”
Taeyeon giggled uneasily. “W-what are you talking about?”
“Well, you're red as a tomato for starters, you’re acting jumpy again
and you’re shaking for some reason...”
“I...uhr...well...”
{Come on brain! Think up an excuse for this!}
“Aren’t we supposed to be going to the mall?”
**********
About 2.30, later on that day, Taeyeon and Krystal went downtown to go to
the mall. This was the usual routine for them, as they often went
there after school, but today was different. Today was Saturday, and
they had some money on them. Well at least Taeyeon had some money and
Krystal just borrowed some of it. Anyway, the two went to the mall as
planned and enjoyed themselves. Krystal needed this time though. It made
her happy to be with someone who felt real, and wasn’t so hung up on
status and looks. The brunette haired girl knew she was falling in
love...she could feel it in her heart every time she looked at Taeyeon.
Krystal turned to look at the musician as they walked into a clothing
store, and a faint blush beamed across her face.
{I’ve got to tell her soon...I need to know how she feels about me...}
Krystal thought.
The duo looked around the clothes shop and bought some things. After
much persuasion, Taeyeon managed to drag Krystal out of there, so they
could move on to other stores. The brunette haired girl had this strange
habit of wasting her money on the first nice thing she saw. The two
pulled out and after an eager suggestion from Krystal, the girls went up
to the upper floor as continued to shop. As Krystal and Taeyeon past a
jewellery store, Krystal caught sight of something that immediately
ensnared her attention. Taeyeon looked back when she realized that
Krystal had stopped walking, and saw the brunette haired girl looking at the
jewellery.
“What are you looking at?” Taeyeon asked as she stood behind Krystal.
Krystal looked back, frowned and pointed out a ring in the far corner.
It was sterling silver, engraved with the picture of a dragon
around its bottom, with a large sapphire stone over its crest. Taeyeon
then winced when she saw the price.
“That’s the ring you want?”
Krystal looked at it again and smiled unhappily.
“Yeah. It reminds me a lot of the ring my grandmother had, when I was
a kid. I always wanted it then too, and when my grandmother gave it to
me, I was the happiest kid alive. But then I lost it. That ring meant
a great deal to my grandmother and I felt that I let her down. By
buying that ring...I dunno. I guess it just makes me feel like I’ve
made it up to her.”
Taeyeon smiled when she heard that. Not that the situation, but at the
fact that her theory was proven right. Krystal wasn’t shallow at all.
“So that’s why you want the ring. But you feel bad because it’s costs
more than a small country?”
Krystal exhaled. “You hit the nail on the head. There’s no way I can
afford it. Ah, forget it. Lets go Taeyeon.”
Krystal held Taeyeon’s hand gently and walked away from the store. But
Taeyeon couldn't help but throw glances at that ring.
**********
After another four hours of shopping and then grabbing a bite to eat,
Taeyeon and Krystal left the mall. They decided to go back to Taeyeon’s
house since that was closer, and Krystal would spend the night there.
Anyway the two reached Taeyeon’s house later on, and quickly went
upstairs. Ms Kim wasn’t there but she would be soon. As soon as
they got to Taeyeon’s room, Krystal dropped her many bags on the floor
and crashed on the bed, whereas Taeyeon looked back to the door.
“I just need to go to the bathroom a minute. You okay here?”
Krystal nodded. “Yeah, yeah sure.” Taeyeon then walked out.
The brunette haired girl sighed, and lay back on Taeyeon’s bed. Two months
ago she would have been lucky to able to speak to Taeyeon, now she was
coming home from a wonderful day with her. Whils
