Goddess Mask

Description

Masks.

They give immense powers to their owners.

Doesn't matter what kind. You can destroy, you can preserve or you can be neutral.

But it takes a part of humanity of the owner, eats it. Slowly and painfully.

Twelve boys who agreed to wear masks, in order to gain that power. They all had their own reasons. But the matter here is not their motives, it is that they are playing the game.

There is another one.

She doesn't wear a mask yet she owns all of them.

She is the girl with the name of "Maya."

And this is the only thing she can remember.

This is a story of twelve fools and one queen.

I do not own the art.

Foreword

Who do think you are?

When you look at the mirror, whom do you see?

To whom do you call "me"?

Is that the true self of you?

Or a mere mask that were created to "be you"?

If you could gain infinite amounts of power, would you give up your humanity?

If so, wear the mask, look at the very reflection of yourself.

When the time comes, you, who wears the Goddess Mask, shall ascend once more,

Shattering all the lies, until all is gone, except one.

The one which is the actual fact that you are only a fool, wearing the mask.

The lie of your existence.
