It's been two years since YG Entertainment's last idol survival show, Mix & Match, where various trainees and pre-selected ikon members dished it out for a spot in YG's newest boy group. Ikon rising to become one of YG's top groups, along with Winner, Big Bang, and 2ne1, YG is ready to tackle the next generation of idol groups by using his newest show, Hot Issue, to debut five talented trainees for his newest boy group. Like the show's predecessors, Hot Issue, will be packed with music, drama, and competition as ten trainees will duke it out for the chance to debut and make their dreams come true as idols.

Otherwise new apps are good too. #3. Love interests can be anyone, but applicant-applicant is preferred. However, I also accept applicant-idol as well, so if you're not big on applicant-applicant and you want your trainee to be heteroual or possibly into an idol from another group or even another made up trainee, that's fine too. But despite there being love interests in this fic, the focus is on the drama, friendships, and rivalries that will occur between the applicants. #4. Faceclaims can be anyone sans YG idols. Kim Myungsoo is taken as a faceclaim. #5. It's not exactly first-come, first-served with apps, but it may be close depending on who and how many people apply. So the better your app is, the more likely that you will be selected.
