The Royal Pretense
Description
21st century Korea. Instead of a democratic country we know today, the monarchy still exists. Korea still runs similarly to how it does today, but instead of a president, a king reigns with the Parliment, and customs and traditions still hold. The country's Crown Prince, Oh Sehun, constantly puts up with the pressures of being heir to the throne. According to custom, his parents, along with the elders, are supposed to pick a wife for Sehun when he turns of age.
If not for duty to the royal family and nation, the Crown Prince would not even bother his mother’s highly publicized search for the girl who would be the next Queen Consort in the Jewel of Honor pageant, where two hundred girls compete for prestige, wealth, status, and even…his heart.
To Kim Hana and Lee Sera, the Crown Prince's marriage was one big, fat lie. Things like this were not supposed to happen. After all, weren't they living in the 21st century? Could both girls really pretend that everything was going to be okay? As their worlds begin to collide and unravel, they become involved in the struggles of Korea's monarchy.
Foreword
I'm writing my first Sehun fan fiction. He's been screwing up my bias list recently, so I decided to write something for him.
