Chapter 4

Eunji woke up from asleep and heard a beep sound around her. Aware that there is no one beside her. The members have their schedule and she was alone in the hospital room aside from television and the side table and there are flowers that put in the small vase on top of it. She sighed. “I’m fainted again.” She said to herself. She remembered when she was sane after fainted yesterday. She woke up in the hospital and the members beside her telling that she fainted because the fever and fatigue. She aware of that before but she chose to finish the works. At the end, her body did not cooperate with her and fainted.

She regretted it but on the other case she glad that she was not pregnant as she predicted before. Which women doesn’t want to get pregnant. Every woman whom get married want to experience pregnancy and childbirth. But not for Eunji. At least not for now. She still not getting the clear water of her marriage. Whether it will end by both of them has feelings towards each other or the divorce will end everything between them. Agreed or not, she is quite worry with the latter option.

She felt her headache was coming back and throw her side to the window. Clear her mind with the bright sunlight outside. She took a deep breath. Calming herself and try to forget the issue that lingering in her mind. Eunji getting off the bed and walked to the window. Trying to entertain herself by watching people get busy.

Eunji was waiting for Chorong who said will get to the hospital after her schedule in the evening and it already past five o’ clock and the leader still not yet showing. As she was waiting for Chorong to come, she spotted two kids were playing with her parents at the playground near the hospital. They were smiling and happy. She also smiled without her realized doing that. “How cute they are playing and all. “How I wish to become like the kids. Smiling and laughing like the world are belong to them.”

As she was so immerse looking at the family, she was startled by the voice. “Who said you allow to get off the bed!?”.

‘Chorong unnie”

Eunji turned her head from window to the source of the voice. Looking at Chorong who just arrived with a plastic of pumpkin congee. She didn’t know whether Chorong was furious or not but the expression she is wearing not making Eunji’s heart in a good state.

“Chorong unnie! You are here.” Eunji greeted the leader. Feeling nervous

“Come, let’s get you to the bed. You are not allow getting off the bed unless you are fully recover.” Chorong ushered Eunji to the bed and put the food on the table.

I’m okay, unnie. I’m just fainted. It’s not like I’m going to die.” Eunji try to make a joke but she shut when Chorong was glaring at her.

Bad move.

“Err…” Watching Chorong making I’m-not-kidding-around face make Eunji stuttering with Chorong was glaring at her.

“I talked to aunty and she gave you two weeks off from the work. So rest properly, I forbid you to accept any kind of job within the week that was given for you to rest. I already speak with manager oppa and he already rearrange you schedule.”

Eunji want to protest but she is sure that she will not win if Chorong use her veto power as a leader. She just nodded quietly. Understand that people around her wanted her to get a good health.

As she was listening to Chorong who immersed in nagging her, there are four men entering her hospital room. Eunji know them. Hoya, Sungyeol, Woohyun and of course Sunggyu.

As they entering the room, Chorong whispered to her ears. “I forgot to tell you that these guys will visit you this evening. Sorry.” Chorong ask her forgiveness as she thought that Eunji would not comfortable with someone visit her in the hospital.

Eunji just smiled. Nodded as a sign of understand with the situation. Chorong looking at Eunji smiled sigh in relief.

“Good evening, Eunji.”

Eunji smiled before greeting back Hoya and the others but not looking at her husband as he just stiffly standing at the end of the single bed. Expressing fake smile. They both are expert in faking the expression around the member and others. “Good evening, Oppa.”

“How do you feeling? Good? I asked my mom and she said that you have fever and you were exhausted. That is why you fainted.” Hoya speaks as he was telling that he asked her condition from her mother, a doctor and the hospit that she was staying right now is belong to his mother.

 Eunji just faintly smiled. “Yup, feeling better now.” Eunji replied to him. “I pushed my body to the limit, I guess.”

“..and here I guess, you already listening to Chorong infamous nagging.” Hoya added to tease Chorong. Knowing that his cousin would nagging Eunji for sure. And what he got from the teasing was Chorong’s glare. Eunji just chuckled softly not trying to hide the truth.

“I’m okay, oppa. All I need is a few week rest and I’m ready to start a work.” Eunji assured Hoya and the others that listening to her conversation with Hoya.

“Oh, these is for you, Eunji.” Sungyeol handed a basket of fruits to Eunji. “I thought you be craving for some fruits. We heard you were not quite fond with the foods here.” He added and Eunji is thankful enough that they visit her.

They were talking for some stuff. About their upcoming group activities, Hoya and Sungyeol has been telling about their previous fanmeeting. The event that took placed in Manila, Philippine. The crack moment between the Infinite members and the fans when they were playing games on stage. It brought a big laugh to them when Woohyun, Hoya and Sungyeol told that Dongwoo’s pants ripped in front of hundreds fans and he just playing cool with it and saying that it was fashion. Dongwoo indeed a big mess, troublemaker and someone who always lift up the mood wherever he goes.

Throughout their conversation, none of them aware that Eunji and Sunggyu were not talking. Neither of them aware that they were secretly looking at each other but both of them try not to make each other notice. They were enjoying listening to other stories and talked when they asked the question that required them to answer. But both of them not making any effort to talk in front of the members. Surely, Chorong as sharp person who always observed the members aware of that matter but she just quickly ignored it. Chorong who knew Eunji throughout the six years from their trainee days knew the member behavior well.
